The Hotel Alte Post is a fantastic place. We stayed in a very comfortable and quiet room. Upon our arrival after, a long day in the car, we were welcomed with a glass of local wine. The breakfast has something for everyone and the hotel’s bio ethos means that everything is locally sourced. Is is simply fantastic!

Great service, good food and quiet. Very nice place. We have stayed here before. The food is nice and the rooms are quiet with good beds. It is possible to charge your electric car overnight.

Stayed on a recommendation from a business colleague as my meeting was only just around the corner. Check in was very pleasant with a complementary glass of local wine provided. All of the staff ( especially the reception staff) were super friendly. The rooms were a good size, but a bit tight in the bathroom. But very clean and comfortable. A nice bar area for a quiet drink. Beautiful historic building with spacious rooms and a great restaurant with traditional German food. Breakfast was delicious and s the room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. This hotel was nice for the area and had English speaking attendants to help at check in and check out. There was free parking for us also right outside the hotel. Recommend this one when traveling in the mullheim...

Comfortable stay in friendly hotel Friendly hotel with spacious rooms but very small bathrooms (larger people might struggle in this tiny space). Breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choices and locally produced organic drinks available.

I spent a weekend alone here to get away from the day-to-day and rest. Lovely place with a really nice spa area. The Saunas were lovely and overall the place was orderly and neat. A busy spa hotel. Small swimming pool but lots of other spa facilities. Food was fantastic and waiting staff very efficient, if a bit stern at times. We had an upgraded room as there was a small problem with our original room which we very much appreciated. It was in a nice area with lots of good walks and parks in the vicinity. Very clean rooms and facilities.

Nice hotel in a very quiet village, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Two points that deserve real improvement are the parking space availability and the messages (which were of poor quality for the price, real shame!)

Mooiste locatie, heel rustgevend. knus hotel met vriendelijke mensen. Wij hebben enorm genoten.

Very enjoyable old songs from 70s and 80s the golden era of music of this type and other genres using above all electric instruments which gave a whole new sound. This set was acoustic with some effects added but effective and enthusiastic singers from a local duo from Lorrach. Audience mainly over 60 participated eagerly to experience a bit of nostalgia myself included !

My husband and I recently indulged in the Roman Paradise package at Fini Resort Badenwiller, and overall, it was a delightful experience. We had 5 wonderful days at the hotel Zur Sonne in the spa town of Badenweiler. We felt really welcome and at home. It is comfortable, quietly situated and full of character, with a fantastic kitchen, also for vegetarians. Katinka, Thom and their team are passionate, personal and professional and are always there for you. They tune in to what you need. Also in suggestions for activities in the area...

We had an outstanding tasting menu of 4 courses. The flavours in each dish delicate and balanced and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and the ambiance warm and pleasant. The monkfish served on a bed of black lentils was delicious and visually interesting. It was a special event to celebrate - Women in wine, with winemaker Johanna Bernhart presenting excellent local wines.

The Zur Sonne Romantik Hotel is amazing. Tom the chef and his wife Catinka made my friend and I completely at home! On arrival, we were greeted with a smile and offered a coffee on check in.Both rooms (room 4 and 5) were spotless with a nice balcony. Last Minute decision on a Saturday in September to Book a room in this hotel. The procedure of reservation was simple and check in also. Just like in the pre internet days. Good, quiet place, to France 2 hours on foot, to Switzerland 4 hours on foot. We lived and worked here in the summer of 2020. The building is closed to visitors, repairs are underway, hot water is not everywhere, there is no gas, they cooked on electric stoves. The sewerage in the shared kitchen does not work. 9 € per day is deducted from the salary. Everything else is fine.

This hotel has held the tradition of "old world charm" blended with a lovely modern spa/pool. A treat to see their collection of antiques!

Rooms are clean, there is no problem in the entrances and exits.

Not that great. It's okay to stay a night and it is quite. But it is close a railway, not that I noticed btw. The restaurant is downstairs where you can also check in. Not the most clear check in. The food is also okay but not anything special. One wierd things is that the owners disable the Wifi past 22:30. Not that the internet is really usable.

It's going ok.... The room is clean and OK, the 1960s bathroom could do with a renovation. And a shower curtain is no longer "state of the art". The TV delivers a terrible picture. There is no reception in the actual sense. The pizzeria in the house offers (in my opinion) a great pizza from the wood-fired oven.

The small hotel made a clean impression overall, the operator was very friendly. The mattresses on the beds were just right for my taste and the room was spacious. The associated balcony was quite large for a hotel and divided squarely to the main street, which was rather quiet during my stay. Very informal and friendly. Warm welcome. Small hotel, few rooms, a lot of quiet, lovingly designed, for us (30 years) a bit too classic/probably geared towards an older clientele. Breakfast was enormously rich, no wishes remained unfulfilled. The only drawback: leaving the windows open is impossible because of mosquitoes and air conditioning costs 5 euros per night. We can't say anything about value...

I very much enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are nice, the garden area is wonderful, and the staff are very friendly. Also, do not skip the breakfast, it's quite enjoyable.

Very nice hotel with even friendlier staff. The city around it is mostly used for spa and therme activities, at which we only spent 1 night for our trip to Italy. Breakfast is good, rooms look and feel great. I was going to rate it 4 stars as nothing is perfect, but seeing the extremely friendly staff (the hotel owners I believe) I'm giving it 5 stars.

A boutique hotel from the finest! Just absolutely amazing! The hosts are like the rooms just beautiful. The breakfast buffet is stunning and alone worth a lot of money. The fitness room that attracted me to pick this place is small but has a the necessary equipment to get a good workout. I have been around, but have not had such a great overall experience. Had a great overnight stay en route to Italy. Friendly staff, diner was really nice, our suite was excellent and breakfast was good. We booked a family room, but we're upgraded to two rooms. Highly recommended 😃

Great restaurant! Building is old and historic. Inside it is nicely renovated and modern. Food is fantastic and staff very kind.

We booked an overnight stay here on the way to Italy. Great contact and everything was handled well. Good and big apartment. The pets were allowed. We had a good stay. You can eat well within 10 minutes of walking.

High quality appartments, some with a spectacular view over the Rhine valley towards the Vosges mountains. Parking lots exclusively for tenants.

Very comfortable, spacious apartment that is well maintained and well equipped. Really appreciated the small things like dishwasher tablets. The apartments are located in a quiet area of Bad Bellingen; the small center of the town is within walking distance.

It's nice and clean and reasonably priced. However I reserved a 2 bedroom apartment with a bathtub and got a 1 bedroom apartment with shower. Bit of a letdown..

The welcome was warm and you felt at home. The room was clean and cozy with all essential comforts. The beds were very comfortable. The only drawback were the very thin pillows. Therefor a more than delicious, very extensive breakfast buffet was served, from which one didn't want to get up at all. My conclusion, anytime again. Price performance top!

06-11-2017: Excellent address for a transit through southern Germany. But it also seems excellent to me to stay here for a few days. We stayed on the first floor in a room with a balcony overlooking the Rhine Valley. Within walking distance to the Kurpark and nice restaurants. The welcome was very warm and as a welcome we even got a carafe of delicious red wine reserved in our room. To our surprise...

stay from 10/31/17 to 11/5/17. Very warm welcome from the hotel manager, but some problems with the rooms: TV (not a single French channel), no WI FI, no welcome drink , mini-bar unusable! We believe that this young couple has taken over this hotel and is trying to put everything back in order. They speak very little French, but Italian and English.

Nice hotel, certainly a bit outdated but the beds were fine. It was bloody hot in the rooms only because of the lack of air conditioning, we were here in early August 2017. Breakfast was delicious with warm freshly baked bread rolls.

We stayed for a week and were very satisfied. The breakfast was rich, regional and fresh. Wishes were, if possible, immediately fulfilled. The manager of the house is a person full of warmth and friendliness. The room was comfortably furnished and clean. A halogen lamp in the bathroom was broken and was immediately replaced... Great! We'd love to come back...
