Beautiful hotel with a friendly staff, always with a smile. Charming indoor design with a constant effort to improve their home. Breakfast included, which was the best I have had in years! With a great variety of anything you could need for your morning ritual and attended with great detail from staff.

It was a wonderful experience spending four nights at Anika Hotel and Resturant. A well built facility that combine relaxation with delicacies. Wonderful Steak meat, warm room, nice shower and wonderful staffs that are always ready to go extra miles in giving satisfactory services.

Best hotel in the trip back from France. Close to the border, good price, amazing breakfest, very clean and comfortable room and beeds. Not luxury, but for normal people one of the best choices, I should highly recommendat with absolutely no doubts.

Nice typical family restaurant

Very good and clean hotel. The staff is very kind and the service is good. Location is very close to both the highway and the center of Neuenburg am Rhein, making it ideal for a one-night stop. Sufficient parking spaces are available behind and next to the hotel. The rooms and breakfast are good as well.

Very good hotel. It is near the highway, we stayed for 1 night. The rooms are clean, bed is comfortable. The staff is very nice, she turned our airco on before we arrived. We will come again!

We were travelling from the Italian Lakes back to England in our own car. Amazingly soft matresses, a pretty big bathroom and a shower with understandable temperature handling. Simple but clean and convenient. Staff ok. Price not bad. Parking possibilities okay. Decent breakfast. Nothing to write home about, but does its job without any problems.

Great food and service, nice terrace and superb price service ratio. And of course easy access, parking and very clean toilets! To improve: waiting time (1h) was too long, even if we arrived at 1pm.

Everything is fine for me here. Been going here for a while now through my grandad who is staying there for stops before going through to Switserland for vacation. I swear the salad dressing from their restaurant is unmatched anywhere for me. Salad itself is super variated. Food is good. Rooms are always super tidy and clean. Only WiFi lovers might find it less "enjoyable". But eh it's good to disconnect...

Only the restaurant part! service was very friendly and helpfull all the dishes we had were quite salty and the steak was very well done (they did not ask for doneness) prices were adequate overall not a bad experience but there is room for improvement

The Hotel Alte Post is a fantastic place. We stayed in a very comfortable and quiet room. Upon our arrival after, a long day in the car, we were welcomed with a glass of local wine. The breakfast has something for everyone and the hotel’s bio ethos means that everything is locally sourced. Is is simply fantastic!

This hotel was nice for the area and had English speaking attendants to help at check in and check out. There was free parking for us also right outside the hotel. Comfortable stay in friendly hotel Friendly hotel with spacious rooms but very small bathrooms (larger people might struggle in this tiny space). Breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choices and locally produced organic drinks available.

Very tasty food and friendly service! Beautiful location on the market square... They are particularly good at meat, the entrecôte was fried to the point (medium). Since we live nearby, we can't make any statements about the hotel... 😉

A culinary delight with a good selection of local wines. Sometimes changing dishes, sometimes excellent bouillabaisse, that's what I dream of. Nice location on the market. Excellent budget hotel! LOCATION just blocks away from the old town centre (has pubs/cafes/stores/kiosks) but still in a quiet area. ROOM was clean and comfortable and sufficient, with a nice balcony with chairs and potted flowers. SERVICE was excellent, making key arrangements for our late arrival (a lockbox) as well as access to locked garage for BIKES. BREAKFAST was a good selection of breads, meats...

When you've business or you're traveling in Freiburg im Breisgau area, Mullheim could be considered as a quiet and remote location for accomodation. There you may have good food as there are nice and good restaurants. Public transportation good be a plus too. And Hotel garni Schacherer is the place to stay if you are looking for a quite and remote accommodation.

A very nice hotel with spleded location, friendly staff, good beds, clean, nice garden and good breakfast. Could recommend to anybody;singel, couple, families. They welcome also dogs and receive them very well. A place where you could stay longer: Small beautiful city and beautiful surroundings to explore. Our dogfamily has visited this place now 10 times and recommend it strongly.

Great place to make a stop-over on your way to Italy. Basic but very clean. Well situated not that far from the highway and at about 10 minutes from Basel.

Small hotel with nice rooms/apartments, each one has a balcony. The pool is a nice touch. The owners are very friendly and helpful, we got 2 bikes for our tour of Muellheim and surroundings. The center of Muellheim is in walking distance.

Perfect hotel, each room is different than other. Surprisingly, room doesn't have room number, they are identified by color! Each room has unique view. Location and city it self beautiful, hence each view is unique and beautiful. Will come again here.

The breakfast was exceptional — fresh and diverse, super tasty. The restaurant is very cosy and you have a lot of choice if you decide to dine here. Room was clean and brand new, with a tea kettle, cups and glasses. Overall a calm and nice location (however yes, you will hear the church bells).

We have stayed here for one night on our way back home from holiday in Tuscany. It was a lovely stay. Very nice looking clean and comfortable rooms. With an amazing view overlooking the green hills. Breakfast was great. Lovely owners, great hospitality.

A busy spa hotel. Small swimming pool but lots of other spa facilities. Food was fantastic and waiting staff very efficient, if a bit stern at times. We had an upgraded room as there was a small problem with our original room which we very much appreciated. It was in a nice area with lots of good walks and parks in the vicinity. Nice hotel in a very quiet village, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Two points that deserve real improvement are the parking space availability and the messages (which were of poor quality for the price, real shame!)

Very informal and friendly. Warm welcome. Small hotel, few rooms, a lot of quiet, lovingly designed, for us (30 years) a bit too classic/probably geared towards an older clientele. Breakfast was enormously rich, no wishes remained unfulfilled. The only drawback: leaving the windows open is impossible because of mosquitoes and air conditioning costs 5 euros per night. Very nice hotel with even friendlier staff. The city around it is mostly used for spa and therme activities, at which we only spent 1 night for our trip to Italy. Breakfast is good, rooms look and feel great. I was going to rate it 4 stars as nothing is perfect, but seeing the extremely friendly staff (the hotel owners I believe) I'm giving it 5 stars.

Rooms are clean, there is no problem in the entrances and exits.

Not that great. It's okay to stay a night and it is quite. But it is close a railway, not that I noticed btw. The restaurant is downstairs where you can also check in. Not the most clear check in. The food is also okay but not anything special. One wierd things is that the owners disable the Wifi past 22:30. Not that the internet is really usable.

It's going ok.... The room is clean and OK, the 1960s bathroom could do with a renovation. And a shower curtain is no longer "state of the art". The TV delivers a terrible picture. There is no reception in the actual sense. The pizzeria in the house offers (in my opinion) a great pizza from the wood-fired oven.

Maria is an absolute wonderful host. The Balance Hotel was a peaceful, restful oasis and this town is a hidden gem. Our rooms with a spectacular view of the Burg Baden ruins and hamlet of the town were magical and looked like it was from a story book.
