The hotel has got big comfortable rooms, and the beds are quit nice. Employees weren't wearing any sort of company clothing Wich makes it confusing to see who is a employee and who is a customer. Breakfast could be better by having more diversity in the types of bread! Would recommend!

Very good and clean hotel. The staff is very kind and the service is good. Location is very close to both the highway and the center of Neuenburg am Rhein, making it ideal for a one-night stop. Sufficient parking spaces are available behind and next to the hotel. The rooms and breakfast are good as well.

Very good hotel. It is near the highway, we stayed for 1 night. The rooms are clean, bed is comfortable. The staff is very nice, she turned our airco on before we arrived. We will come again!

Great food and service, nice terrace and superb price service ratio. And of course easy access, parking and very clean toilets! To improve: waiting time (1h) was too long, even if we arrived at 1pm.

Everything is fine for me here. Been going here for a while now through my grandad who is staying there for stops before going through to Switserland for vacation. I swear the salad dressing from their restaurant is unmatched anywhere for me. Salad itself is super variated. Food is good. Rooms are always super tidy and clean. Only WiFi lovers might find it less "enjoyable". But eh it's good to disconnect...

Only the restaurant part! service was very friendly and helpfull all the dishes we had were quite salty and the steak was very well done (they did not ask for doneness) prices were adequate overall not a bad experience but there is room for improvement

Amazingly soft matresses, a pretty big bathroom and a shower with understandable temperature handling. Lovely place to stay. I was there with my family of four and we very much enjoyed the food Kreuz offered. They do have a limited menu, but that's not a bad thing. I had to sleep on a folding bed, whose mattress was very hard and quite uncomfortable. Staff was very friendly and breakfast is made per guest and delivered in the dining area at a requested time.

Food was excellent but it was fairly quiet when we visited. Modern decor and friendly staff. Interesting menu where you can choose from the local specialities or from the modern European cuisine (with a decent portion size)

Very good breakfast, very friendly staff, comfortable room with exit on the ground floor, which makes it easier if you have a pet and lots of luggage. It was our second stay at this hotel and next time we travel thru Germany we will gladly plan to adjust our travel route so we can stay at this hotel again.

Selection for breakfast can beat a 4*hotel. Everything is fresh, high quality tea choices, freshly brewed coffee. Dining facility is modern, pleasant.

Very friendly staff. The food is bio and very well prepared and absolutely good. Even children loved it though thy had only 3-4 choisies for the whole week.

Great location for a quiet afternoon on a terrace. Parasols can provide sun or rain drizzle shelter. Coffees are good at 2.20 to 2.80Euro. Tarts look great though tried none. We have stayed here for one night on our way back home from holiday in Tuscany. It was a lovely stay. Very nice looking clean and comfortable rooms. With an amazing view overlooking the green hills. Breakfast was great. Lovely owners, great hospitality.

A busy spa hotel. Small swimming pool but lots of other spa facilities. Food was fantastic and waiting staff very efficient, if a bit stern at times. We had an upgraded room as there was a small problem with our original room which we very much appreciated. It was in a nice area with lots of good walks and parks in the vicinity. Very clean rooms and facilities.

Nice hotel in a very quiet village, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Two points that deserve real improvement are the parking space availability and the messages (which were of poor quality for the price, real shame!)

Very informal and friendly. Warm welcome. Small hotel, few rooms, a lot of quiet, lovingly designed, for us (30 years) a bit too classic/probably geared towards an older clientele. Breakfast was enormously rich, no wishes remained unfulfilled. The only drawback: leaving the windows open is impossible because of mosquitoes and air conditioning costs 5 euros per night. We can't say anything about value...

Very nice hotel with even friendlier staff. The city around it is mostly used for spa and therme activities, at which we only spent 1 night for our trip to Italy. Breakfast is good, rooms look and feel great. I was going to rate it 4 stars as nothing is perfect, but seeing the extremely friendly staff (the hotel owners I believe) I'm giving it 5 stars.

Simple but effective. The beds are clean, the shower is clean and the water is warm quite quickly, the rooms are spacious enough, employees are friendly, very peaceful surroundings. After a long day travelling, it's a pleasure to stay overnight.

Very nice, well located family hotel We were in Bad Bellingen and spontaneously decided to stay longer. Great reception. The boss is always present and looks after everyone. We slept very well. The hotel is quiet, modern inside, room was clean and well equiped. The owners were very kind and hospitable. At the breakfest you can eat delicious home made yogurth.

Rooms are clean, there is no problem in the entrances and exits.

Not that great. It's okay to stay a night and it is quite. But it is close a railway, not that I noticed btw. The restaurant is downstairs where you can also check in. Not the most clear check in. The food is also okay but not anything special. One wierd things is that the owners disable the Wifi past 22:30. Not that the internet is really usable.

It's going ok.... The room is clean and OK, the 1960s bathroom could do with a renovation. And a shower curtain is no longer "state of the art". The TV delivers a terrible picture. There is no reception in the actual sense. The pizzeria in the house offers (in my opinion) a great pizza from the wood-fired oven.

Maria is an absolute wonderful host. The Balance Hotel was a peaceful, restful oasis and this town is a hidden gem. Our rooms with a spectacular view of the Burg Baden ruins and hamlet of the town were magical and looked like it was from a story book. Good, quiet place, to France 2 hours on foot, to Switzerland 4 hours on foot. We lived and worked here in the summer of 2020. The building is closed to visitors, repairs are underway, hot water is not everywhere, there is no gas, they cooked on electric stoves. The sewerage in the shared kitchen does not work. 9 € per day is deducted from the salary. Everything else is fine.
