Tom and Catinka Birks are passionate chefs who met and fell in love at the Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in London. He is a true Englishman, and she is a native South African. Their passion for the culinary craft can be tasted in their modern European cuisine, which most often features seasonal products from the Markgräflerland. The wine list also reflects a connection to the world, while keeping its roots in the Markgräflerland, with a wide selection of carefully chosen wines. Casual fine dining at the highest level. Both have also proven this as hosts in their previous restaurant, Taberna in Müllheim, where they earned awards in the Gault-Millau and a recommendation in the Michelin Guide.
