Reasonable hotel for quick travel

The staff are extremely helpful and accomodating. The rooms are very clean and functional. The restaurant has a good breakfast buffet, but it is better to go early. The hotel is less than a ten minute walk from the train station. Some people complained about noise, but my room was very quiet.

Everything was good quality standards. I think if the hotel would add tea or coffee facilities either in each room or common area where guests could enjoy a cuppa during the day it would make this hotel an even more perfect place to stay. Lovely staff, spotless clean and great breakfast.

Because of the corona it was like a ghost hotel. No staff, no guests, but the key handover was well organized. The breakfast was very rich, fresh and delicious. The park around the hotel invites you to linger and escape from everyday life.

This place seems to be a bit overpriced. In the room we stayed at (and in other rooms I've seen) there were only single beds, it was impossible to move them next to each other (so that we could sleep with a kid).

Price-performance fully in order. Bathroom not completely free of mold, the breakfast was sufficient and the operator couple friendly.

Slightly irritated because the reception is not manned all the time, but it still worked out great. The light in the bathroom, or in general the bathroom could be brighter. Worth seeing is the nuclear power plant nearby, which was in operation for just 30 months. Don't worry, it's been quiet for decades.

We feel very comfortable here, it is close to the center (150m) and still quiet.... the Rhine is right in front of the door.... Breakfast is sufficient and delicious and the staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. Thank you for Have a nice weekend, we'd love to come back.....

The Schloss Engers is for me as a wedding photographer from Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler to the absolute Top wedding venues! It is a unique and wonderful atmosphere directly on the Rhine and shoot countless opportunities for beautiful wedding portraits of the bride-to-be couples! The castle is always inspiring for me!

Simple overnight stay. The room itself is okay, but when the sink in the bathroom is clogged and the toilet smells extremely of urine, it's a bit difficult to feel comfortable. You can't get breakfast, but we knew that beforehand. Conclusion: fast further.

I chose the place at random as I had a customer to visit the next day. The reception, breakfast area and rooms were all clean and tidy. The staff accepted my late arrival with good cheer. Compared to similar hotels I stayed at the breakfast spread was generous and well above average in quality. I will certainly use them next time I visit that customer.

We were there yesterday, and about the cleanliness, the facilities and the positive Flair very surprised. Many 4 star Hotels do not reach this level. This was the only Hotel left with a room and I'm very happy we got the last room. The Hotel has a safe place for our bicyles, which was very important as we were spend 3 months cycling in Europe. The staff was very friendly and we had a good chat. The "Breakfast", was the best I had in a long time. If you wanted to you could easily has a three course meal. Service is really nice in the morning, the only time that hotel personnel is available. Fine location. Room is OK, but is not a hotel you should come for the room, but location and a service that you don't expect...exactly because you think this hotel can't provide it. Having to stay in Andernach for two nights due to a customer my company had to serve, I decided to stay as close to the city centre as possible. The location is incredible. Just a three minute footwalk from the next parking garage, which in addition is incredibly cheap, and a 4 minute footwalk from where I had to work, it was just situated perfectly. Its a very beautiful property located at a very nice location just facing the Rhine river. The top floor panoramic restaurant has an amazing view with good food and drink options. The room was also nice with nice view and all basic facilities except the small refrigerator. Breakfast was also very good.

On arrival it was difficult to find a parking space close to the hotel, but what parking there is, is inexpensive. A very helpful and friendly welcome, and we were given a room with a great view of the Rhine. Breakfast was good. We would be happy to stay there again.

My husband and I stayed here in June and could not be any more pleased with both the room accommodations and the breakfast (included). The owners/staff were very friendly and once they figured out I didn't speak German (but my husband did), they switched to English when addressing me. Our room overlooked the Rhine River and the walking and bike path. Very pretty!

Unfortunately the hotel does not have air conditioning. At the current temperatures it makes the stay not very comfortable. Otherwise it is a very nice hotel

Good hotel, friendly staff very good restaurant. For some reason the toilet always needs flushing 4 or 5 times after a number 2 and having stayed in practically all the rooms over the years its the same in almost all rooms. If you're not OCD about it like me then you will be fine.

Rooms are out dated. Wi-Fi was flakey. I did have a nice view on a balcony overlooking the river. Breakfast was limited also. Staff were friendly. Room was cold and there was no heating, thin duvets too.

The staff greet the guests in a friendly manner, check the vaccination status and also carry out tests. You don't have to say anything more about the sauna itself, as everyone knows what a great sauna landscape awaits guests there. The steam rooms are also great. And then the restaurant ... great to look at dishes at affordable prices, which are served quickly and in a friendly manner and taste great...

The rooms were made available to us free of charge because we came as a group to help in the disaster area. We didn't expect anything, we were happy to be able to stay overnight and take a shower. Instead, we were able to enjoy the full service, from a delicious breakfast to always made, clean rooms and everything you can expect from a good hotel. A big thank you for everything!

Nice small boutique hotel with very high standards. Get the upgraded room for a very small bump in price and you will get your own sauna :). Also the on-site restaurant is worth trying with a small menu, medium high prices but high quality dishes.

We stayed at this hotel only for one night. We booked junior suite for 145 euros and it’s definitely worth it. Room is bigger and price difference with the standard room is not that huge. We booked a room without breakfast and in fact it’s served only until 10 am. We had a nespresso coffee In the room And it was quite ok. Milk is available on request. There was no bathrobe and house shoes but I’m convinced...

Stayed here a year or so back. Nice place, excellent parking and very friendly staff/owners. The hotel food is good, not inexpensive but well done all the same. Not really a place for children, and nicely close to Koblenz.

In this Hotel one feels very good. The staff are very friendly, even if you, as a customer, having a bad day. You will be treated very respectful. Also in the Restaurant the staff are always present and show that you understand your craft in the culinary arts as well as in their dealings with customers.

This is an eclectic, unique, and amazing place to stay. Set at the end of a long winding road, heading up to a forest, it feels other-worldly. The facilities were great, the silence was perfect for a good night's sleep, and breakfast was superb! Highly recommended.

The room was very large, everything that was needed was there. The bathroom was also very large - about 18 square meters -. We felt good. Breakfast was taken in the Lindenhof restaurant. This is about 300 m away. Accessible through the park or by car across the street. The breakfast alone was awesome. Everything is homemade and super fresh. The egg dishes were also - no matter what - freshly prepared...

We chose the private room. It was a nice, peaceful location, though the church bells ring at midnight and 6am. Breakfast was lovely.

We were two for an Overnight stay there, and were, by and large, very satisfied! The reception staff was very friendly and helpful! Our room was ok. It was a chilled mini-bar. In the shower you put the half bathroom under water. A shower curtain or similar would have been desirable. Breakfast buffet was great!
