I had the most wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome – they were all so kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with a charming atmosphere and elegant design. And the food? Simply to die for! Every meal was a delight. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay – highly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat!
The service was okay, nothing to praise or criticize but the food was terrible, it tasted as though it was made a while ago and put in the microwave, not fresh at all. The pasta had so much oil I couldn’t finish it and the Poulade was quite dry!
The two stars are for the view and the good beer. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a good meal.

The restaurants reply is completely false, I was being generous with the two stars I should have given 1. We saw the kitchen was empty without a chef, it was very clear that the food was reheated and I have had pasta Pasta aglio e olio in Italy and that oil is still giving me heart burn the next day.
Secondly the wait staff didn’t ask us if everything was okay, they barely communicated with us. We had two waiters, a female and male and both were blasé.
And I didn’t finish in fact finish my plate, I transferred my pasta to my husbands plate in order to try and get the oil out.
Take this as a learning curve to improve your cooking and offer guests fresh food, instead of trying to blame the guests.

I would not have known that I would find a hidden gem like this hotel!
Service is amazing, they really go out of their way to make me feel comfortable. My motorbike can be stalled safe in their garage. Rooms are nicely done and very comfortable.
But then their food!! I really enjoyed this one. It was the first night of my trip to Switzerland, but I will definitely come back here.
Ps. Ask the chef for whisky, he had a good bottle of Ardberg behind the counter 😜
There are ample parking spaces available.
The room was spacious but lacked amenities like coffee or tea making.
The breakfast wasn't the most outstanding, but it was ok. You had your normal choices of bread, jams, cheese, and meat.
