Great location in center of town.
Quaint hotel in altstadt. Room and bathroom were comfortable. Check in was smooth. Staff was very helpful and considerate. Breakfast was nice. Location was very close to everything downtown. Would stay again.

Rude manager but great staff and hotel
Initial welcome was good however the manager was absolutely a disgrace to the hotel. I feel for her staff. This should have no not impact the hotel and other staff. Everyone else was welcoming.. breakfast was lovely, location very good and central. It was a shame one member of staff behaviour could be so unreasonable and childish.

Unfortunately a mediocre experience. Our room 303 was spacious and up to date furnished but nothing special. Bathroom was clean and up-to-date as well. Main beds were good. Breakfast was ok. Parking can be done in 2 parking garages in walking distance and costs max 20 p/d. Limited in hight but our tiguan with rooftop box fitted in. Hotel location is great and in dead center of town. Ideal for a visit on foot. Hotel WiFi was great.
However, there were also a few negatives. 1 our airco room unit made a huge rattling noise, which made sleeping with airco on impossible in our room. 2 therefore we slept with the window open which meant we were disturbed in sleep by street noises till 1 am. 3 the 3rd additional bed was an unconformable sleeping sofa with very hard surface. A softener top would have been nice.
The price paid was limited and fitted the level of accommodation.

Breakfast is five-star and as satisfying as an average German family hotel👍
But if it's not the main building, you need to use a key. The doors to other auxiliary buildings also need to be opened with a key, which takes a while. And the basic room type may not have air conditioning but only a fan. But the weather in Baden-Baden is not too hot and can be tolerated. I like to simply tidy up before checking out. In addition, if you have a lot of heavy luggage, it is recommended to choose a room with an elevator in the main building. There is no elevator in the annex building and you need to climb up. Considering that it only costs more than 500 RMB on weekends and includes breakfast, I am willing to give it 80 points. Don’t ask for too much at this price.

I did not get the name of the receptionist but she was very patient and sweet and walked me through the check in. I was lucky enough to get a 1st floor room right outside the main building. My room was clean and had no issues, I just wished that the wi-fi was faster so I could stream my shows on my iPad! The location was great and prime locations were all walkable distance (best restaurant for me was an Indian restaurant called Ganesha!). Overall I would recommend this place and I would stay again! This is not for everyone but if you want to have a “5-star” experience, go to a 5-star hotel ;) To me it was practical, cozy, and what I needed for my stay.
Edit: forgot to mention, the receptionist didn’t have to but she let me check in early since the room was ready!
