There is no parking!!! You have to walk at least 3 km to find the nearest 24 hr parking!. All the closest parking is pay by the hour. It took us driving in circles over an hour to find the underground entrance to parking many km away. Hotel has no air conditioning. You have to walk up hotels stairs in the lobby and in the hallways to your room. Rick Steve's travel recommended this place...only if you arrive by train or bus and plan to walk. Positives, hotel is old and decorated with chandeliers like you step back in time. Walking the nearby streets offer a lot of shopping and food. Breakfast is superb. Wonderful meats, eggs, fruit, breads and kaffees to choose from.

A lovely hotel centrally located. Very clean and lavish decor. We liked it very much. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Grey location, our room was quiet.

(Stayed during a Rick Steves tour.) The room we stayed in was very nice and clean. The noise was limited even for the room location, and the beds were a bit hard, but nice. The AC was limited on power and we couldn't seem to control the temp in our room. We put on the lowest setting but it did not seem to make any adjustments to the room temperature. The shower was a bit confusing for an American at first but great water pressure. Provided a couple of shampoo/soap. No mini fridge in room. The area is in a great location to shops and restaurants and in easy walking distance to tons of shops! The breakfast was okay but difficult to get coffee and staff wasn't nice. The wifi could be a bit spotty at times. In the future I would be willing to consider staying again.

According to DEHOGA, this is a 4 Star Rated Hotel. We booked a superior room for 180€. This room had no air conditioning but just a cheap fan. Besides that, there where no roller shutters or appropriate curtains to darken the room. Overall during these hot days, we ended up with a 25 degree celius room temparature and bright sunlight at 5.30 PM.

The staff was very kind with us. We stayed 2 nights and had delicious breakfast and good rooms with very comfortable beds. It's beautiful inside and the spa has 2 Sauna rooms and Steam room for all guests.

In the last three years I have visited between 20 and 30 hotels in different European countries. Nowhere have I experienced such great service, care and nice approach as in Heliopark zum Hirsch. I highly recommend it and hope to be able to return one day.

Service and location perfect! The rooms are pretty old though, specially the bed. Shower is also too small, breakfast was ok but not great.

The place has a spa on the third floor and a decent restaurant on the first floor. Having a balcony looking down at the plaza is a super plus! The bathroom needs a makeover. Staff are helpful and welcoming. If you enjoy the old town, this cute place will bring you back in time.

Very classy and old-school hotel. I guess it matches Baden-Baden, yet the hotel gives you a dated feel from a time so long ago. When I arrived I had to wait for easily 10min until a receptionist came back to the front desk at like 7pm. Overall fine for 1-3 nights.

Nice Hotel in the center town of Baden Baden. Saunas and wellness is ok but the breakfast service is amazing, highly recommended.
