Breakfast was the best part of this hotel, and the staff were really friendly. Spacious room, but could use a renovation. The flooring was carpet and had some old stains. I would suggest to remove the carpet and replace it with something easier to clean. We stayed here for a skiing holiday and couldn't fault anything about this place. It is immaculate, spotless and charming in a fantastic location for cross country and alpine skiing with a lift about a 100m from the door. A great place to look at Freiburg, as it is very central but quiet. We had a very spacious room with very good beds. The hotel consists of two buildings, the hotel and a building opposite that houses other rooms. The hotel is in walking distance to the train station which is very convenient if you arrive and/or leave by train. The hotel is close to the center of the city so you can explore right from your hotel. The receptionist and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
