Beautiful little hotel in a cute town. Very nice, modern and clean rooms. Bathroom was great. No split to 2 single beds, not sure if it was requested, not the biggest issue to share the bed. I am American, so I am a bit of a burger expert. My expectations are very high when I order a burger anywhere, especially in Germany. What a find!! I stayed here for one night after delivering a car locally. This place is very clean, very welcoming and the food was great. I ended up having a great evening drinking beer and chatting with some of the locals. Thankyou Moritz your hospitality was spot on.

I tried two dishes. The "Rahmschnitzel" and the "Rostbraten". The schnitzel was way too dry and the cut was too thin, but the "Rostbraten" was excellent. The restaurant is expensive and the portions are relatively small. The restaurant is special because there are many employees with a disability. The waiters are very friendly and often happy.

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und stilsicher und trotzdem modern eingerichtet. Den covid-19 Bestimmungen entsprechend war das Angebot eingeschränkt, es hat jedoch an nichts gefehlt. Ein großes Dankeschön an die Wirtsleute, die trotz Todesfall in der Familie das Angebot aufrecht erhalten haben.

Nice restaurant with typical food. It's a good place to stop during your trip or after a long day of hiking in the black forest. So if you are looking for good food, friendly service, great drinks, and cosy atmosphere, don't miss this place. It is always full of local, so better make a booking before getting there.

It was a nice hotel we had a terrace , you could sit outside. Good area it’s nice and quiet just a couple of minutes away from freiburg the city! Dogs are allowed , enough parking space ! Not expensive .. The bed are really soft though and it is pretty basic .. i liked my stay though !

Only visit it for its restaurant. Nothing special. A rather basic menu when considering the lovely specialities and high quality ingredients you can get in the area. It was rather empty, only three tables occupied, from which two where hotel guests. A little disappointing for a 4-star hotel restaurant.

Very clean site with the best facilities I've seen on a site! Pitches are tight for bigger vans but a nice easy 40 minute walk in to the beautiful town centre is a must do!

Good place to spend a night. The sanitary building seemed quite new and it was very clean. One of the better showers I have had in a camping park. The pitches are small and it was quite crowded when we were there.

Really liked this site. The check in was with a lovely Italian lady who walked me to the available pitches so I could choose. The site was full that night so I'd definitely pre-book. The hostel-style dormitories were fairly comfortable and include full use of spa which was very nice. Be aware a €4.50 extra charge is made for bed linen and towels. Staff were helpful but not super friendly. The breakfast here is terrible! Do not buy it - go next door to Busse’s Waldcafe which offers a fantastic and generous breakfast buffet for about €11

Nice place. A bit pricey by hostel standards and it''s bit of a walk from the train station, so rail backpackers, take note. Marked down one star because our room lacked in some common hostel ammenities, such as accessible power outlets and hand soap (toliet was in the room). Spacious rooms. Ideal for people young at heart. Since this is a youth hostel, make sure to come prepared with a high tolerance for noise. The wifi is quite slow. The included breakfast is nothing special. The hostel is immersed in greenery. There are many cycling and walking trails through the forest.

Net appartement met vriendelijke eigenaren. Alles netjes, schoon en verzorgd. De hond was ook meer dan welkom. Leuke uitvalsbasis voor een aantal fijne attracties en uitstapjes. Ook een gemeentezwembad is een aanrader om een middagje te plonzen. We hadden helaas geen balkon, maar we mochten van de eigenaar het terras gebruiken. Daar zat doordeweeks niemand. We stayed here for a skiing holiday and couldn't fault anything about this place. It is immaculate, spotless and charming in a fantastic location for cross country and alpine skiing with a lift about a 100m from the door. The village itself is very quiet giving a feeling of a secret location for winter sports and has its own lift network for the nearby hills. There a some lovely restaurants nearby...

This is a very simple room in a sport centre /complex . The room was comfortable but simple, breakfast was very simple but more than adequate. Location out of centre, did not find much in terms of interest and food places around, I would not choose it again, just not for me. But all is functional and clean

This is a very interesting hotel because it is in sport facilities such as tennis courts, swimming pool, gym etc. Staff are friendly and welcomed well, telling me how to get and sightseeing spots of Freiburg. In bathroom, Shower and basin are inside, only toilet is shared. So, it was not a problem.

Went there last year, had a room with a king sized bed, the room had a shower but the bathroom was shared with the other rooms on the same floor. The food was awesome and reasonably priced. As a mid priced hotel I can only recommend it. Friendly staff as well.

A lovely and cozy hotel that's conveniently near the tram located in the quiet neighborhood of Gunterstal near the tram to Freiburg, about 15 min. Ride. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is generous with attentive service. The drawbacks are lack of an elevator and the tram passing nearby till late hours, but it wasn't too bothereome even for light sleepers like me

Excelent food, close to public transport, Freiburg center about 10 min away (by tram). Cons: too close to the public transport :) (trams run right next to the rooms), weak wifi, rooms could do with some general repairs.

The room itself met every expectation, very comfortable and large compared to other german hotels of the same price category. Friendly staff. The breakfast, however was a bit disappointing. A lot of condiments had expired and the room was awkwardly silent. This could easily be improved by serving breakfast in the large dining room instead of the 'claustrophobic' small breakfast room.

The rooms are very comfortable, clean and spacious. They are very good isolated because you don’t hear anything during the nigth. Breakfast is good, and has several options to eat (salty, sweet…) The staff is very helpful and kindly. The hotel is 25 minutes by foot to the center and 10 minutes by tram, what is close to the hotel.
