Second time in the same season and it was not so good as in January. I felt the season was already not on its top and the hotel was a bit unstaffed already. Still ok but I'll pick another option next year

I ate twice here. First time was amazing. Really good food and great service from the single waitress with a full room of tables. Second time was less good. Still good food, but the two waiters didn't seem interested in actually serving the tables.

Was traveling through the black forest and booked the room online about 20 min before arriving. They offered me a complimentary sparking wine while I waited for them to find my reservation. Short version: Shower only extremely hot water. Sink (near my room).in the room not in the private bathroom. The rest fits. long version: The bad first: No matter how I turned the "temperature regulator" (never seen before) of the shower, it always came out with ultra-hot water so that even my hand hurt after a few seconds because of "burning". Clean, we had two rooms that were functional, the bathroom was spacious, two toilets, both unfortunately without a sink... Breakfast buffet was good and there was something for every taste. Almost everything! The room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the (snowy) countryside, if we weren't more cautious about the water usage, we could have stayed under the shower forever! The breakfast was nice, the staff was amazing, the check in and out was delightfully simple, all digitally, only spoke to the receptionist before leaving. This is a true gem!

The view is unbelievable! If you wanna stay there I would recommend to get a room with a balcony so you can truly enjoy the scenery. The pool was really small and not so tempting and if you are going there in winter make sure to use the right tire or a chain since the way is too steep. All in all we enjoyed our stay in the Panaroma Hotel and I only gave one star less since we didn't feel that welcomed...

Nice view, delicious food and good wine. The staff was very kind and helpful. Points of improvement: the mattresses and pillows are too soft; cleaning would need a bit more attention.

We had a good stay in Hotel Sonnenalm. Breakfast was excellent. Swmimming pool and sauna : good. Only the steam bath did not function during the week, we were in the hotel. Dinner : was good. In form of buffet.

Small hotel with amazing view on top of the mountains. Small selection of buffet for breakfast which was delicious. Staffs are friendly. The timings are flexible. Appart from the view and surrounding, they also have sauna and indoor swimming pool 😍 If you want to stay, take the rooms with balcony. The view is amazing. You will feel like you are in some other world ♥️

Lovely place for a peaceful holiday! Winterwonderland view, spacious rooms, nostalgic decent interior, tasteful and honest meals, and equipped with a family-proof wellness with indoor swimming pool, sauna and steambath. Very tempting to come back!

We decided at short notice to travel to Todtnauberg for a few days and rather by chance we checked into the Hotel Sternen (Anno 1769) ... The hotel is now getting on in years, but that didn't affect the whole thing ... we just wanted to stay the night and have breakfast in the morning ... The friendly owner gave us the key to our room (number 19), which was very spacious and above all it was very clean...

This hotel is designed for kids off all ages. They provide lots of opportunities to play, separated by age group, scribe kids programs, all day free food for kids, several play rooms and daycare for small and older kids - time for parents to relax therefore too

Delicious food in a beautiful garden terrace overlooking the forested mountain! The service was great and very welcoming. We had the snitzel and a local wild hog bratwurst. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay if you want to visit the Sky area in Feldberg. It has a great bus connection to it and you can easily reach it. The rooms were very clean and in order. The host family and the employees were also super nice and helpful, they answer all of our questions and were always very friendly. Would stay there again for sure.

Friendly and helpful hosts, good local food and spacious rooms. The ski lifts are a 5min drive away, there is also a bus stop 300m from the gasthaus. Only downside for me was that the pillows are a bit soft.

There is so much I could say, but this place is ideal. The rooms were great. The largest and nicest rooms we stayed in during our time in Germany. Also it's located in the most beautiful place on earth. I almost don't want to rate it well because I don't want other people realizing how awesome it is here. It's not in the town of Todtnau, but just up the hill close to a massive suspension walking bridge...

One of the best spontaneous decisions I’ve ever made; needed a place to stay during my motorcycle adventure through the Black Forest and this was amazing! The extremely friendly staff, food, property, everything…I wish I had known about this area sooner, I definitely would have made this my normal stop more often.

Nice family hotel near the Wiese waterfall. Great scenery. Good bathrooms - a bit small but with nice hot water, a good and powerful hair dryer. Spacious rooms with balcony. Free and sufficient parking. Great and central location for a week in the black forest.

I had a great experience at Waldhaus with my family. The moment we came I felt like a princess. The food and wine was good. Also, the gym and spa where perfectly arranged facilities and all so cleans. Besides, the staff was extremely kind and interested in you.

We had an incredible stay at Burghotel Feldberg! From the moment we arrived, the staff was outstanding – friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The staff there were so lovely and the hotel itself is quiet and well situated (we had a car). We booked a family room with balcony which also has two toilets which is great if you have a few people. It was lovely to have the balcony to sit out on in the afternoon. There was a continental breakfast with boiled eggs in a lovely room. The kitchenette is fine but extremely limited if you actually wanted...

Had a lovely overnight stay here. Room was comfortable and the food excellent. The staff were friendly and the only tiny thing that I could complain about was the requirement to sit for breakfast where I had been seated for dinner, instead of another table where I could have enjoyed the view.

First time skiing and we booked a hotel direct at the snow in Feldberg. Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Clean rooms and the once with a view on the mountain are Nice to wake up into. Wellness was alsof very nice. The only downside for us was the fixed seating in the restaurant.

At first, I wasn’t too sure about this place it didn’t look very inviting. But in the end it was great. The manager was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Totally worth it!!!

Polite host but I feel let down The rooms are good size and clean. The host is nice, polite, and helpful. However, the facilities in the room are very basic - no toiletry, no drinking water, not even a kettle and a cup. It says on the hotel description that it offers breakfast. We went to the breakfast room and were only told that since they don't have many guests that day so the owner is not there...

An excellent hotel that offers a great view over the Wieden valley because it's located above the city of Widen. The hotel provides sauna and a swimming pool (which was a bit cold however). The rooms are very high class and so is the restaurant. The breakfast is very very rich and diversed (salmon is served!). The service is very good as well. An easy 5-star hotel :)

5 bliss days with delicious basic food, a place set at 1100m, 16km away from nearest civilisation. To make it perfect, a variety of various treatments are offered - and worth the extra expense.

We are all absolutely thrilled! 4 days we were pampered by incredibly nice and dedicated hosts. Delicious and honest fresh cuisine. Here you can feel the love for handicraft. No wish seems too much and you just feel welcome and in good hands. In addition, uncomplicated hosts who are so open and friendly. We would love to come back again.

We had a wonderful time, though it was a short holiday, but the two days were rejuvenating. The food was exquisite and we enjoyed the stay very much. Not to miss, the hosts were lovely people. I was there for the first time with a customer. The food was regional, Baden and highly recommended. There was also, for example, kidney and liver (which certainly not everyone likes), which is no longer on the menu. The kidneys were awesome. We sat on the terrace with a brilliant view of the calf pasture. The dining room was also furnished with lots of wood, but in a modern way. I will come back and...

We visited the restaurant, and didn't stay in the rooms. The restaurant is fine with a decent menu, and plenty of options for vegetarians. The service can be improved, especially one or two staff members, who aren't friendly.

Can't speak to the hotel, but the restaurant offerings are delicious! We got our evening meal there twice and visited again for breakfast. Excellent service, excellent food. (A bit pricey. Well worth it though.)

Excellent hotel with excellent care. We are now coming here for the fifth time. Every visit is enjoyed with the enthusiasm of the owners and staff. The principle is 'you ask and we deliver'. The extensive breakfast and the four-course menu are of top quality. We have booked for the sixth time.

We were locals (Wiesental) and now in Rheinfelden We've known the inn for a long time, when it was even older. Now it's just great for dining out and, we heard, for vacations too. We ate very much at the restaurant. The food was delicious and very attractively presented. The service was great and the guest room was newly renovated and looks very friendly, bright and comfortable. We were very satisfied and will be back soon.

The room cleaning team must have been on holiday. Even after asking only the bare necessities were done. That said... as was the WiFi. Spotty at best. Other than that, the rooms are fine and comfy and the on place restaurant is decent. Though they can't seem to make a soft cooked egg for breakfast.
