Excellent hotel to bike from! They offered an exterior storage area for security of our bikes. this would be an excellent location to either finish or start your trip to Copenhagen. The location of the house is close to the castle , by walking just 5mins , you have the view to the river from the hotel , room has a comfortable size and clean ! Booked the room to stop by overnight on a trip and was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by an extremely friendly staff. The room and bathroom was spotless clean but could you more electrical outlets. The restaurant offered amazing service and food.

The hotel had amazing food and there was a beatiful view over the lake. It is very close to a supermarket and you can walk a pretty tour around the lake. It is also very clean and if you are out in the day the cleaning personel will come and clean your room. The hotel personel was also very kind and helpfull.

The place was big, well equipped and clean. The lights turned on automatically on movement, which was great at night. It was quite near the S-bahn which took us into central Berlin in about 20 minutes.

Thanks to the public transport, everything was easily accessible for me! Since I was out all day and there were hardly any guests because of Corona, I hardly saw anyone. Is of course not a 5 star hotel at the price, but everything was well looked after and I could have stayed in the garden.

Unhappy Surprises We were disappointed in our stay though the location was excellent. The front desk was onlyf staffed until 1:00 PM, and there was no elevator which meant we (in our 80s) had to lug heavy bags up stairs. There's a car ferry service next to the hotel running early to quite late which can be a bit noisy. Not the ferry, but the cars & people embarking, disembarking & queuing.

This Hotel is set right by the river and is so peaceful and scenic. The staff are very friendly and there is a ferry right next to the hotel which is fun to ride just to cross the river and is less than a euro per person.

Barrier-free very large room with carpet. With a large shower. Elevator at least 1.40 m long. My train didn't leave until 5pm. I was only allowed to vacate the room later on the day of departure and then to rest in the room again at noon. Real understanding of stressed health. Staff was friendly. It was a good stay. I attended a week long seminar there. My group had "Vollpension" (German). It's easy to be reached von Berlin. The only problem with that link is the connection between Berlin wandlitzsee and the hotel. There one would have to take a Taxi to reach the hotel. The hotel is in walking distance of multiple beaches and Lakes.
