Hoooot!!! No ventilation, no air conditioning. We stay here in August, we have a room at last floor. The temperature today was 26-28 Celsius degrees, at night is 19 Celsius degrees. In our room - 34 Celsius degrees at night.
The service is nice, the place is clean - but way to hot.

This is a great place if you just need a room to sleep in! If you want to explore the city and will be using the room just to sleep, this is a perfect place.

The stay wasn't bad. However, they didn't know about my schedule change, and I was about to be charged again for the accommodation fee, so I lost time. And the room wasn't even cleaned. Unfortunately I would never recommend it to my friends

Since options in Passau were limited we opted for this hotel. As some guests have mentioned this has more of a feel of a hostel.
Rooms are small as described but enough for one night.
There is a cage for bikes with security.
You can leave luggage in a holding room if needed.
The breakfast is a Standard buffet.
The bathrooms are clean.
The only complaint is that there is no sign for informing guests when they should be quiet!! Or use the large dining area when in conversation late at night.

I booked this last minute and sigh unseen so you can imagine my surprise on arrival. This place doesn't look like a hotel, it's design is very much out there. Very cheerful (too cheerful for me, but I'm a bit of a grumpy guy...). More a youth hostel than a hotel. Tiny rooms with only space for a bed. Shared bathroom (very clean, at least when you're the first one in) across the hall.

Not so great. Very small rooms, cash only. You can get much better value for money in Passau. For example: pension Gambrinus with free parking, private bathroom and a cheaper / better breakfast. We stayed here for a sleepover and had to park in a garage close by when we arrived late at night.
