Today is one week that we left this hotel after spend there more than on month. I only have good words for this hotel. I belong to a work team that were staying at that hotel, by unanimous decision we extended our stay that was initially about two weeks. I left thd hotel yesterday after 1 month staying there because of the work. And I have to say that it was the best hotel I have ever been in Germany. And I promise that I got experience about it. Lovely crew!! And a Manager, Claudia, who took take of us as no one before. Thanks so much to you all for making everything so easy!

The bad: room was hot and no air conditioner or fans (open window is only way to cool off, but that lets in bugs and noise). Birds started chirping at 5 AM. Blanket/duvet is thick and too hot. The shower has no door, so floor gets wet. The good: 6 different kinds of FREE drinks in the mini-bar in the room. Fast internet. Best breakfast of my trip; and served from 6:30 AM. Rooms are good and quite. The beds are amazing. Free minibar and good breakfast (although food placement is somewhat confusing). Great service from staff. We had the bathroom door malfunctioning, and they sent a very professional person. It's a good hotel, the outside does not reflect the inside. The rooms are spacious, modern and functional, you get a TV, a FREE minibar, free and good wifi, and to top it off, RGB lighting in the rooms. Definitely worth passing by.

If this hotel had been billed as 3* I would give it a rating of four or five. It's attractive. The rooms are nicely finished. We had a little terrace. The breakfast was excellent. But: no a/c, no elevator, the room was quite small, the bathroom was tight, the towels are small, the beds were covered in rubber, the reception desk closes at 19:00. It's a reasonable hotel, just not a 4-star one. For one...

I got a unique experience in the hotel, they care about the smallest details, to provide the guest with the highest level of service and comfort, the interior decoration of the hotel gives a warm and beautiful impression. I am grateful for every moment I spent at the hotel.

Handy location to the train station and the walk along the Inn is a good way to get to the old town. Service is very good as is the breakfast. The beds, while comfortable are not suitable for tall people

It was a very pleasant stay at IBB. Cheap costs for that fantastic service. We entirely enjoyed every single minutes of it. I would fully recommend it for any visitors around.

We chosed this hotel because of the location close to the train station before embarking on a river cruise. The breakfast is good but the room is just basic and outdated. It needs to be updated. The evening reception staff on my arrival seems to be inexperenced , cold and unhelpful to provide answers to our queries.!

A great option in Passau. Ideally located next to the station. Has a small spa area. Didn't have the breakfast, but went to a cafe instead which was excellent. Road at the back / river side of hotel a little too close but wasn't a problem for us.

Very clean Hotel. Hall way in Room was bigger than Bathroom. Very hard to locate not enough signs to Parkhaus for Check In. Same paintings in every room and Dining room. Very big rooms. Mattresses are too hard and pillows are worthless. Bring your own Pillow. No Refrigerator in room . Breakfast was good but not great. No fresh Fruits or Toast. A brand new hotel ...such a pitty that already dirty carpet...and a lot of missing details.. shows a shortage of management of operation. It is new so gives a good night sleep.

Good location for a Passau city trip. Close to railway station, but still calm. Also a close walk to the city centre. Hotel offers all necessary service.

Cleanliness was under average with lot of dust and hair in room. There was lack of bath towels. No Mini bar at all.

We had a great New Year's Eve in the hotel with a funny party in the restaurant! The New Year's dinner was delicious there. The breakfast could have been better. We had bathroom mold and had to switch the room. However, this was no problem and we immediately became a better room after telling this to the hotel staff. We could park for free in the hotel garage and there were also a lot of free parking...

Great hotel with spacious rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Super helpful staff at reception. Excellent location for walking or getting just about anywhere in central Passau. Good bike storage inside. Some reviewers complain about the “older” building, which I don’t understand. Every building in this part of a Passau is old! It’s historic and I found the Wilder Mann to be charming, not a cookie-cutter...

Really nice hotel. Lots of interesting decoration and photos too. All staff were extremely helpful too. Top marks. Directly on the Donauradweg. They also have a good storage area in the entrance for bikes.

What a fantastic old hotel with period furniture along with modern facilities. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is served in a rooftop dining room with enormous windows on two sides. There is no bar per se but bars and restaurants are in abundance in the neighbourhood. The building also houses the Glass Museum with over 10 000 exhibits. Well worth a visit.

This is a very modern and comfortable hotel. Our room was quite large and the bathroom was high end. It had a rainfall shower (additionally to the regular shower) and it looked very new. I would advise against the patio room, because the neighbors can see into you room unless you close the shades, which is highly unpractical in summer if you want to leave the windows open. 5+ stars for this wonderful Riverside retreat. The rooms are immaculate and stocked with essentials. The staff are friendly, speak English, and more than accommodating. One thing that stuck out to me was when I was sitting in the lovely canopied garden, the staff asked me if I needed anything by name. Good no frills hotel. Older design with hight ceilings, rooms spacious, beds comfortable, staff very friendly and hotel very clean.

Loved pur stay. They went over and above for me and my little dog to have a great time and a good rest. Can't recommend them enough if travelling with pets. The view of the Danube is perfect too ❤

Lovely small hotel across the street from the Danube. We had a nice, large room which was spotless, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. The location is great for walking around the old town of Passau and enjoying views across the Danube as well as walking along the nearby Inn river.

Stayed one night before going on a Danube river cruise. The staff were very nice, friendly and curtious. The room was pleasant with a wonderful view of the river. The hotel was also located in the middle of tourist country. A step out the back door and you are in the tourist district.

The hotel is located on the bank of the Danube and has access to the main shopping street. The rooms are clean and large, with a nice view of the river. Even if the road next to the hotel is busy, there is no noise that could disturb you. The hotel is not big, the only problem could be parking. The staff is very friendly and always at your service. A truly Bavarian Hotel, simple and immaculate. Friendly staff. When we told them we were leaving before breakfast started, we were immediately offered a packed lunch. We were also brought cocktail of the day as a complimentary drink. We were also given take away coffee I'm the morning. A really nice experience.

A nice hotel, decent price with a decent breakfast. Big plus: there are two entrances - main entrance that takes you to the parking lot and the cruise ships, and the other one that takes you to the old town. The only fault - a bit complicated to park one’s car as their garage is small and elsewhere the parking is restricted and meter maids are strict.

The way up to the Hotel over Mariahilf is very very steep, so be aware of that when you choose your route to get there. There is parking in the courtyard, and two entrances, one with a couple of steps and the other one even ground at the back entrance (that’s the one to use when you come home late, the door opens with the room key). One of the best hotel i stayed in Passau ! Near the danube river and near the city cultural center. Lots of restaurants and terraces. Big parking place atvthe back of hotel on the side with the Danube. Very good breakfast.

Great hotel, but simple. Everything you need for a nights rest but not much more than that. Reception staff are friendly. Rooms come with free bottle of water and stocked mini fridge that you need to pay for anything you take. Hotel cleaning staff gets to work early so don’t expect to sleep in. And the location is about 15-20min walk from the train.

We stayed here for one night pre cruise. Excellent place. Clean room. Excellent breakfast for €12 each. Good coffee machine (made amazing cafe latte - I had 3...😁). Comfy bed. No A/C but they have a fan. Good location. Would recommend.

Super Accomondation, Passau is a nice city with a lots of old character, the hotel is nice, clean and lovely staff, the rooms are big and the breakfast is good! Recommend everybody to stay

Very good value for the money paid (with breakfast) via Booking. Good choice for a break on a long journey. A bit difficult to find, but once you know it's all fine. Good access to autobahn 3.

Excellent! We went onto journey London - Bratislava by car and had to sleep over here with our dog; which was no problem at all. Also the room was very clean including the bathroom. Great facilities! Free apples at the reception; there was water for dogs there and dog food too!

Expensive hotel, with clean but basic facilities. Be careful - there's a funfair close by so you need to ask for a quiet room, as the noise goes on to the early hours.

Cozy, convenient, and inexpensive. We were standing in the room in less than 5 minutes. Clean, with nice bedding and even a free water (a real shocker in Europe). This place is VERY convenient if you are traveling to Vienna from Germany (or vice versa) via Passau. It's only 5 minutes off the autobahn.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. As requested I got a room with river view. Personal are very nice and they speak English. You have to pay for parking 8.00 euros. Breakfast is also very good.

This is a nice hotel with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The bathroom is big by European standards and the towels were large and soft. The sheets and duvets on the beds were luxurious! Nice room, no aircon. The only problem is it is on top of a hill, if you are on a cycling tour, you probably want to find a hotel at the bottom of the hill.

This is a great place if you just need a room to sleep in! If you want to explore the city and will be using the room just to sleep, this is a perfect place.

Since options in Passau were limited we opted for this hotel. As some guests have mentioned this has more of a feel of a hostel. Rooms are small as described but enough for one night. There is a cage for bikes with security. You can leave luggage in a holding room if needed. The breakfast is a Standard buffet. The bathrooms are clean. The only complaint is that there is no sign for informing guests...

I booked this last minute and sigh unseen so you can imagine my surprise on arrival. This place doesn't look like a hotel, it's design is very much out there. Very cheerful (too cheerful for me, but I'm a bit of a grumpy guy...). More a youth hostel than a hotel. Tiny rooms with only space for a bed. Shared bathroom (very clean, at least when you're the first one in) across the hall.

The location of the hotel is perfect. it's basically in the centre of the city. It takes 5-10 minutes from trainstation by walk. Service is good and this hotel located Front of river just beautiful. But there is one big big problem their internet wifi have no connection in the room and mobile Netz are also very low.

We have stopped for a night sleep with our 8 month old baby and our little dog. The rooms were clean and tidy. The service was amazing. We have asked for some boiled water at night and they have given us a cattle. Also not to mention I have been given a free beer which is more than 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+ guest service.

It is modern and clean. Think Travelodge if you are from the UK. We stayed here as part of a self guided cycle journey along the Danube. Cycle parking is in a open access underground car park. Not the best but we had no problems. The hotel is some way out of Town, we cycled but this would be too far to walk. Did not have breakfast here.

Centrally, at the beginning of the pedestrian zone, located (10 min stroll from the train station). In the winter months the hotel's restaurant is closed except for breakfast. Rooms & bathroom are plenty big and modern. As so often, only one chair is available, which forces the 2nd person to sit on the side table or bed.

Happy to say that my stay in there was in December, when the wheather was so cold all around europe. Outside temp was below zero, but inside the room was 23'C. Very pleasant pit stop during my trip in Germany. I would recommend to anyone to visit, you will not regret.

We stayed at Pension Gambrinus for 3 nights. The house was new renovated and very cozy. It is not close to town, but it's easy to get rid of the car in Passau's parking garages. The house is close to the Austrian border. There are several good restaurants, both in Austria but also in the direction of the city. Very good breakfast with homemade apricot jam..

Clean and spacious rooms, very enjoyable. Distance to town is not a problem, especially if you arrived by car.

Our room was quite big, comfortable and, most of all, very clean. The beds were made every day, which we didn't expect in a pension.
