I was only in the restaurant, so this review is only about that. Food was good and prices were ok, but the worst about it was the service. Maybe was a bad day for some of them but they were slow and not very friendly

The buffet breakfast was outstanding! Very fresh breads, an amazing assortment of fruits, cheeses, meats, yogurts, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, and more

It was really delicious breakfast! Room is spacious but sofa-bed is very squeaky, I could hear kids' every move:) Limited number of parking spots.

We had our name and room keys waiting for us on the staffless front desk. We did not arrive late, maybe 5pm. Rooms were very clean and comfortable

We booked very last minute and received the last 2 rooms available located on the basement floor

I recommend renting the upper floor rooms with a fabulous view of the Bavarian mountains

Great Bavarian Food at a new more contemporary locational Glaphof was a guarantee for outstanding Bavarian food in Reit. I was quite curious to see how things come together at the new location

Very nice location and climate

Very clean rooms with comfy beds, modern wooden interior and amazing view on nearby landscape and mountains. Awesome German-style breakfast. The owners of the property are very polite, kind and helpful

Nearby area is full of wonderful hiking paths with wonderful picturesque views and huts where you can stay and enjoy the nature

It would be even nicer with an outdoor pool ;-)

They don't change all the towels, they don't wash all the glasses, and the outside is full of cobwebs and dust because they haven't cleaned the outside for weeks

Gut Steinbach is a good choice if you want to relax, enjoy the region and great hospitality. The restaurant and the spa area are excellent, the rooms could need a modernization.

Tip: give guests seeking peace and quiet a quiet spot in the breakfast room – it makes a big difference! If you rent a garage parking space, you should be instructed in advance on how to open and close the garage door :-) Overall, a highly recommended hotel

It is a very quiet and relaxing Relais, with beautiful rooms and very well-designed and furnished chalets. The restaurant is excellent, the Maître is very knowledgeable, and the Chef is very talented

The SPA is truly fantastic, with a very experienced and professional manager and massage therapists. The only problem is the housekeepers, who work very little and very poorly

Great selection of treatments, Indoor and Outdoor pools, Quiet room, and 6-8 various saunas and steam rooms!! 7) ES:SENZ is a must go! A 2-Star Michelin restaurant in the hotel that highlights local ingredients from nearby farms

The interior of the public areas is very similar to Kitzhof, high level design furniture. Swimming pools outdoor and indoor. Easy access from Munich - Salzburg highway

Where do I begin? Staying at the Das Achental was an amazing experience! 1) The room was beautifully designed with a large bathroom, very comfortable bed and the sheer amount of flowers hanging from every balcony in the hotel was stunning

The hotel is a nice’ clean hotel in a beautiful area. More importantly, the food was exceptional and I can easily say that with the breakfast, lunch and dinner it is one of the best I have come across at a hotel

We were curious to see the Achental as one of Motel One Founder Dieter Müller's three luxury hotels. The others are the Kitzhof in Kitzbühel and the Chiemgauhof at Lake Chiemsee. Achental is the least expensive

The balconies on the sides of the building gave us the possibility of enjoying the mountains even more and the cosy outdoor sitting space under big parasols was the perfect place for a German local beer in the warm afternoon

A really nice, calm and peaceful hotel. It is located somewhat remote from the town surrounded by forest and meadow. Great for hiking. The breakfast was good, but the choice for diner was very limited.

A true mountain retreat! We enjoyed an extremely god one night stay at this hotel. It is not a new hotel and this adds to the authenticity of the place. Dinner was very fine and breakfast the same

There was no noise apart from a very distant waterfall and the bells from the cows that moves about in the green fields below

Fantastic wedding location! We celebrated our wedding last week at the Alpenhof on Westerbuchberg and it was simply perfect! From start to finish everything went smoothly and far exceeded our expectations

We also stayed at the Alpenhof and the rooms were impeccable - very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We can highly recommend the Alpenhof on Westerbuchberg for weddings and other occasions

The entire planning, including the organization of the music system and the photo box, was also excellent. The Alpenhof team thought of everything and made the organization a lot easier for us

Nice big and clean apartments, with all the basic equipment you need. Free WiFi, an outside pool, a sauna and breakfast-rolls service to top it all off

We stayed there for a couple of nights. The staff is friendly, the rooms are very clean. they provide everything you need in your room. The furniture and looks of those rooms makes it comfortable to be in

One thing I didn't like about staying there, is that you have to clean out your own room before you leave, I. sweep and clean the floors, clean the dishes, and have everything organized

Booked several apartments for a larger group and certainly enjoyed the stay

Dinner was a set menu of choice with main course served from chaffing dishes and starters a self service buffet. It was good value and adequate. repeat staff friendly and helpful

We liked everything: location, stuff, rooms (extremely clean) , food (we celebrated here christmas) swimming pool. The only min was - it was extremely WARM in the restaurant

4 stars Location was great, Ruhpolding is really nice little town, offering convenient access to a lot of outdoor activities and as a hotel guest you will receive the Chiemgau karte which allows you free use of the skilifts, the local Vital Alpina Adventure & wellness pool for 3 hours (does not include the sauna area) and other benefits

3 stars Hotel pool and wellness was nice, pool opens at 07:30, which we enjoyed, sauna unfortunately didn't open until 16:00, which isn't ideal for everyone but we enjoyed it nevertheless

Very friendly staff, especially at reception and in the restaurant. The rooms have everything you need and we had a real nice one with a mountain view. Overall an excellent experience

Nice and quick service in the beer garden in the afternoon for good price so decided to test it for dinner also. Good atmosphere inside and quick service. Really good desert and was possible to get a small cognac to it.

The food was outstanding and the also have a brand new Spa. All the staff was so helpfull with advise to visit places nearby. Salzburg is just about 30 minutes away

This hotel is truly unique! Great location, great rooms, very good food. Everyone is nice, helpful and makes you feel at home. Unfortunately there is no pool, but all the other nice things make up for it

The hotel is right in the heart of the village, with a fantastic crazy gol and bar next door, it's also a gateway to lots of activities. The breakfast is good value and served with a smile

Stayed for four nights during World Cup in Biathlon

I can only suggest this hotel in Ruhpolding, Helds is amazing from all aspects, the staff are very friendly and supportive. Additionally, the food in the restaurant is very delicious.

My room was nice and large but with a tiny shower. The TV was likewise small but who cares. Breakfast is top notch with a great selection of cold cuts, cheese, yogurts, Müsli, bread, eggs, toast, coffee and tea

We were very warmly welcomed and made to feel at home straight away. On a walk, our bags were already in our rooms which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and comfortable

I really appreciated the tea and coffee available in the lounge at any time. We were given a restaurant recommendation and this was great, a beautiful setting! Slept really well, no noise at all

On our recent visit to Ruhpolding from Ireland, we stayed at the Alte Sage. Stefanie and Harry were extremely friendly and helpful. Location - Super (beside the river)

Only stayed one night but thought the hotel (and town) was worth a longer visit. Nice location, excellent room, the hotel has character and is in a nice spot.

We loved our stay here. The location is stunning and the pool is just so beautiful with the view of the mountains. Excellent buffet breakfast too! Would highly recommend!

Wonderful view, high quality amenities, unfortunately small facilities with expensive entrance price. Further the whirlpool was as cold as the pool.

Amazing breakfast. You wouldn't expect that from a random bed&breakfast. Also, the owners are so friendly and helpful. It's only 2 minutes away from the highway!

we spent a nice holiday in there 06.2018. Chiemsee is a nice spot for short vacation. Hotel is well connected either with train or by car. Room is quite & nice breakfast served.
