Great hotel with lovely staff, reasonably priced and well-equipped. Wifi is quite strong and free. Breakfast is one of the biggest advantages, because you find there everything you think of, including your-own made fresh eggs etc. Highly recommended!

Cosy and relatively comfortable! Restaurant on premises. However, if you don't like bunnies, steer clear!

This is a lovely little hotel. The rooms facing the lake have spectacular view from the balcony or terrace. The rooms are large, comfortable, and very clean. Nights are quiet once the restaurant is closed. The restaurant is excellent. We recommend the Saibling fillet which we think is Trout. The waitresses speak English if you need it.

Great place with a wonderful scenic view. The children will love the playground! Ver y good service even since we were a bigger group. The Schnitzel is a clear recommendation. Friends of mine had the vegetarian stuff and loved it. We ordered more fries because they were really good and we were hungry. Good parking too...

Quite and all new rooms in a wonderful view of Chiemsee and Mountains. German restaurant next to the hotel serves good breakfast too. Attention, does not accept credit card.

The "garden rooms" (#17 & #18) are a bit disadvantaged - behind the house, small window in the main room, no window in the bathroom - but very clean and the beds are great. What really makes this place is the breakfast, though: great variety presented beautifully and with charm. Tasty, too. If you're a foodie, this will warm your heart. Nice place, recommended.

Extremely enjoyable stay! Wasn't going to be our original destination, nor our first choice, but boy I'm glad we ended up here! The lady's running the day to day are extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast is to die for! All in all a wonderful place to stay in Bavaria that feels like a wonderful hotel but also cozy in a way you can't get in a hotel. Would certainly recommend!

Beautifull family hotel with a good atmosphere because of the great family service. A very nice breakfast. And there's a shop downstairs where you can buy nice decoration stuff (e.g. in such case you fell in love with something used as a breakfast service :-))

We give this B&B type hotel 5 stars because of the wonderful family that owns and services it. There were some amenities that we're missing compared to a hotel situation, but if we needed anything all we had to do was ask and the family Staudinger was more than accommodating! We have plans to go back to enjoy the breakfast when family comes to visit and would consider staying there again.

Warm and familiar from the first moment! The three of us stayed in one of the chalets for a week, relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet and a beer or two on the terrace of the Oberloher family with a wonderful panoramic view of the mountains. Unreservedly recommendable!

Just perfect to switch off and relax. We were with friends at the Lamplhof for a few days and lived in the chalets. Simply perfect, well-kept and super-friendly. Kudos and thanks to Dani and Georg!

Beautiful and quiet location with a view of the Kampenwand. Ideal for excursions in the area. The supermarket can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. House and yard are cared for with love. The children can move around freely, help in the stable and feed the animals (cows, chickens, cats, rabbits and turtles). The two farm dogs are very fond of children. We stayed in the apartment for 7 days. The apartment is well equipped and furnished with great attention to detail. There is really nothing missing. The yard is very spacious and the garden and the view is a dream. Playground, trampoline and plenty of space for children to run around.

Out of the flow of tourist hotels but beautiful in it's modesty. The room was comfortable and sharply appointed. The owner really takes pride in the service quality. Views from the mountain side rooms are awesome. Breakfast presentation was super. Full marks for customer satisfaction and it was the cheapest hotel on our 9 day vacation. 😉

Very nice place, clean, comfortable room. Great breakfast. A balcony and garden to relax. The host makes one feel welcome. The Chiemsee villages are only a few minutes drive away. The place sure beats the expensive lakeside hotels in the area.

Can't go wrong. Every visit to Munich. This is a must visit. Atmosphere, vibe, people and music. It's the essence of Baveria.

We had 4 different meals and 3 different soups and everything was delicious, friendly staff all recommendations, big portions you will not leave this place hungry and disappointed.

Very good service - although we arrived well after 22:00 when the reception did not work, the employees found a way to accommodate us. Comfortable parking. The views were amazing. Closeness to the lake (a good stone's throw would have been more than enough to hit the water), too. The personnel is attentive, fun, professional, and accommodating. Friendly and helpful staff. The first impression is good, the hotel looks good. The check in was great, without any problems. The room was spacious and clean. The bed comfortable. Breakfast - a great choice, good coffee. We had an evening meal and it was good, large portion and tasty. The only negative point is that the parking space is not paved.

Good restaurant with delicious food and good service. Located right opposite to the harbour, which made the quest for restaurant (& food) after a day of sightseeing around the lake very pleasant. The Apfelstrudel was delicious; we tried it because of the Strudel day recommendation. I will recommend it to others.

A beautiful hotel, awsome breakfast, the best location for lots of activities (with a covid test center at the end of the street). Plenty of parking. Reliable WiFi. A communal fridge in the downstairs corridor. A long bike stand outside the main entrance. Lots of local restaurants.

Really nice family room - in the old building with views over the lake. Very clean and friendly staff. Surprisingly quiet - given that our room overlooked the outside area of the restaurant. Only criticism is very poor WiFi signal (critical when travelling with teenagers!) and the fruit salad, which was really an 'apple salad' - perhaps the other guests got there first and picked out the good stuff

The food is really good and the rooms are nice. There are a lot of staff in training and the management feels rather chaotic but overall there is barely anything to complain about.

Wonderful location on the Chiemsee. The hotel is set back a few hundred feet from the lake and there are trees, so only some of the rooms have a view. Our room, however, was on the noisy road side, so not as fantastic an experience as we hoped for. The rooms on the road-side should be considerably less than we paid, which was about $350 US a night, with taxes and fees. The hotel grounds are park-like...

Staff very friendly and helpful, Lovely spa facilities, well located for amenities. There was some difficulty initially with room description of booking site (we paid for a balcony room, but room had no balcony). This was resolved by giving us the only free room in the hotel, without balcony, but charging reduced rate. A shame, but the only option available.

Wow, so beautiful. 4th floor room is quite warm under the roof. Views of lake are amazing. Food did NOT match the location or staff. Ok but not of the class of the rest of the facility. Poor internet in the room until I discovered the consumer router bolted to the back of the desk, pulled the power plug and reset. All ok from there. Lift does not go to top floor so you need to schlepp your luggage...

This hotel, located in a rather remote part of Germany, is overpriced for what they offer. They have poor internet service and no place to check email. They also do not even have a corkscrew. On the plus side they do provide an excellent breakfast and the rooms are clean. The best plus is a one star Michelin chef and his restaurant about ten minutes away. Perfect accommodation for people who want to be away from all the whirlwind of touristic areas. The owner is very nice and helpful and her father is also very nice and helpful. He even played with our son and had no problem with him following him. The rooms are nice and the kitchen is sufficiently equipped. Great place with an amazing lake view outside! Hotel staff is quite friendly. Dinners (especially the fish from the lake) and breakfasts were awesome and very well served.

Service was excellent. The fish was super fresh from the lake and cooked to perfection. The side dish of potato salad was homemade and tasted very good. The portions are also quite generous. It is recommended to reserve a table as it's quite a popular restaurant attached to a hotel. Price range is on the upper range but well worth it. The surrounding is beautiful and calm. Beautiful hotel, great views of the lake and mountains, and you can have your evening meal outside looking over the same. You can walk to the lake's edge (literally outside the hotel) and admire the views. The food is excellent. Very high quality and the hotel is great value for the price. Just be aware you may need to get a taxi from the station as it isn't walking distance.

We have been there for lunch. They had a special menu for the first half of March which is really impressive. Food was superb and prices were reasonable for what we got. They have fish and meat but you can get vegetarian food (really?), most provided locally. Nice beach, you can even rent a boat. Nice to sit outside, because it is a little remote and silent. Perfect view of the Alps and the lake.
