This was a beautiful, comfortable hotel in a lovely city. The room was large, clean and luxurious feeling, and the surroundings breathtaking. The weather was extremely hot (30 degrees Celsius) so the lack of air conditioning was am issue, but the cool nights made up for that. The grounds were gorgeous and the breakfast buffet was a delight. We would definitely consider staying again.

Nice hotel in Chiemsee. Breakfast is excellent and owners really want to make your holiday best they can. They are really helpfull. Room is cosy, clean and there is lot of space and bed is excellent. Some of the rooms have own balcony. To the beach is 3 kilometres but it is easy to walk and when you are walking, look beautiful village full of beautiful houses.

We were with the bike in may 2015. Arrived soaking wet. The host has hung up our things in the boiler room to dry and us a Cup of tea to warm you up. Super the room, the food we have enjoyed very much, the Breakfast was very good. Many Thanks, we can only recommend the Jägerhof warmly.

Beautiful hotel, great views of the lake and mountains, and you can have your evening meal outside looking over the same. You can walk to the lake's edge (literally outside the hotel) and admire the views. The food is excellent. Very high quality and the hotel is great value for the price. Just be aware you may need to get a taxi from the station as it isn't walking distance.

We have been there for lunch. They had a special menu for the first half of March which is really impressive. Food was superb and prices were reasonable for what we got. They have fish and meat but you can get vegetarian food (really?), most provided locally. Nice beach, you can even rent a boat. Nice to sit outside, because it is a little remote and silent. Our room, however, was on the noisy road side, so not as fantastic an experience as we hoped for. There was some difficulty initially with room description of booking site (we paid for a balcony room, but room had no balcony). This was resolved by giving us the only free room in the hotel, without balcony, but charging reduced rate. A shame, but the only option available.
