Rooms have absolutely nothing in them. Want a glass of water? Well you can drink straight from the tap, because there are no glasses in the room.
Bathroom was very dirty, the shower has not been properly cleaned for years. If you stay here I recommend you do not look too close at the floor. The carpet in the room was also quite dirty with lots of unidentified spots.
Staff was very nice and helpful.
Did not try the breakfast.

The check-in process was extremely slow. Otherwise superb - location good, service good, rooms good.

There is no refrigerator inside the room,
No closet, no kettle, no coffee machine.
Very slow speed for check in process.
Even in the lobby, you have to pay for coffee machine.
I should add this positive point that our room is very clean.

Clean and stylish small room, very comfortable mattress and duvet (but you only get 1 pillow so ask for a second one when you check in to avoid having to go down again!). Liked the bathroom but there are no hooks for towels. Didn’t have the breakfast. The bar downstairs has reasonable prices but slightly odd ambiance (think Polish milk bar vibes with bright lighting). Staff were friendly.

Best bang for the buck for a short stay. On avg young audience. Rooms are modern and clean. Staff is nice and accommodating. The location is great. If you don't mind a little street noise get a balcony room, well worth it. In house bar was open late too. (1 am last time I looked at the watch) In my opinion skip the extra cost for breakfast and find something across the street in the harbor or in town, 5-10 min walk. Only neg., no fridge in the room and no cups.

The Prizeotel in Rostock is a good (and newly renovated) and fairly priced hotel that is a short ~15 minute walk away from the city center. There are a few really nice restaurants right across the street along the harbor. The parking situation is a bit confusing and was explained equally oddly the first time.
Positives:
•Good location for the price
•Good Wifi
•Comfortable Bed
•Nice view from the Balcony
•Option to have room service only every 3 days (to help the environment)
Negatives:
•The balcony is shared among the top three rooms… without any walls or inbetween.
•The room is carpeted (not preferred)
•Only two tiny shelves and a jacket rack… no real closet
•The hotel & bar does NOT take any CASH whatsoever (be warned… you can’t buy a bag of popcorn or a small drink with cash… card only)
•Parking situation is confusing at best… (also costs 11€ per night!)

Nice inexpensive Hotel with modern equipment. The rooms are small and the road nearby is somehow loud. Decent breakfast
