Where to stay in Sankt Andreasberg

It's a great hotel near the main part of the Harz. it has a small pool a beautiful garden and nice cosy rooms. overall a great place to stay because there is also it lot to do with in a radius of 20-30km. Has freshly made bread from the local bakery and nice food to have breakfast. Here are some photos of the village near the hotel

Brilliant place if you want a quick get away and some gorgeous autumn views. The forest at this time of year looks magical. The food was awesome new chef and new management. Ohne night getaway. Turned out quite nice! We liked the restaurant and breakfast buffet. The view and restaurant food were the highlights! The room was 70/80s style but clean and cosy.

I was there for a short vacation and especially found the location great! :) The food was also great, especially special requests and late preparation times, after a long tour. The breakfast was also great, the entire staff was really nice and overall we felt totally comfortable. Oh and the price-performance ratio is also great. Definitely would love to come back :)

Idyllically set overlooking the town with easy access to hiking trails towards St. Andreasberg. A five-minute walk to the centre of town. Extremely friendly hosts serving an ample breakfast including local produce. The room was adequate for a short stay. The Wurmberg is worth a visit. The local buses are free of charge.

Small but fine hotel in a quiet location. Nevertheless, the center can be reached quickly on foot. The owners run the hotel with great attention to detail. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, as well as cakes and tarts at coffee time. We'd love to come back.

Great location with a great view. Braunlage center is within easy walking distance. The operators are very nice and really try very hard. Every single guest is taken care of. The breakfast and dinner was sufficient and there was something for everyone. The apartment was very spacious, you can also cater for yourself... The kitchen was well equipped. Very clean, beautiful and comfortable apartment. Everything you may need for your stay was included. Very good and quiet location, 2 minutes walk distance from the main road where most of the restaurants and shops are located. A wonderful place to switch off. It is very clean and has everything you need for a short break in Braunlage. Parking right in front of the door. The cot was available for our son free of charge. Thank you for the nice stay!

We spent the night here while driving through Germany. It's a hotel not like any other, a very individual and even wacky design which is actually quite relaxing. A very peaceful spot on the edge of Braunlage, with walks in the Harz starting from the doorstep. Very comfortable beds, friendly staff and a super breakfast.

Wouldn´t use the "restaurant" again - even though the food was tasty there was no menu (which also means you have no idea what the cost will be), only three choices and you had to make an "in the moment decision" when you entered even before you get seated. One of the most unique hotels we have ever stayed at! Very thoughtfully designed, cozy and relaxing. Great breakfast, outdoor sauna and comfortable areas to work and lounge. Staff are very helpful and polite. This is a perfect spot for a getaway in the mountains. We will definitely come back!

I just arrived today and I'm really excited. Warm welcome, great room and the food was delicious.

We were back with Claudia and Reiner. The two always surprise us. The breakfast buffet, which was not only rich but also prepared with a lot of love, as well as the evening meal with a soup, the main course and a bedside table. Our room was not only clean, it was also nicely furnished. We can only recommend the beautifully located and family-friendly hotel.

Well-equipped rooms, conveniently located in town, on-site parking and a very tasty breakfast. A lounge for smokers seems a bit outdated.

A lovingly run guesthouse, which allowed us to have a restful and relaxing stay. We felt very comfortable. A heartfelt thank you for the thoughtful care. The rich, delicious breakfast buffet surprised us extraordinarily.

Good hotel with very friendly owner, comfortable beds and big tasty breakfasts. Rooms are clean and will be kept clean every day. Parking is also without problem right next to the house. The main downside is cigarette smoke coming from the office that sometimes gets even to the room.

The Restaurant of the hotel guests-is also open, we liked excellent. Outstanding service, food and location. We went 4 persons for riding mountain bike and that worked out just perfect, with a big help from all the persons working at the hotel and we really felt like home :-) Room for the bikes, big apartment with great views and very clean. Fist time I ever stayed in a place with a 'biker' theme...Even had a soap dispenser shaped like a motorbike in the bathroom!!! That was a nice touch...The surrounding countryside is pleasant enough...

Great place. Small rooms but you don't need much if you are here to go skiing. Bathroom doesn't smell that great but also not horrible. There is free breakfast and the food is great. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Staff very nice and accommodating. The house and the rooms have remained in the 70s. If you are looking for a trip into the past, this is the place for you. Unfortunately, the breakfast was portioned and didn't offer any real variety. It's a Harz tourism area and you try to make money out of everything. Too bad actually.

Great hotel. The single room I had was adequate but relatively small. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes walk away from the town. The staff were excellent and made sure everything within their power was right.

Everything one wants to wish without much extra services. - very good location in a pleasant green area near the hiking routes - restaurant team actuallly has enough people, so they are not looking stressed.
