A beautiful old house, a nice terrace, unfortunately it was foggy, otherwise there would have been an excellent view of the valley. Very friendly staff, we got a great dinner even though we arrived very late.

An absolute gem! A real haven tucked away in the hills. Cosy, characterful, great food and good helpings! Very friendly! The views from our room were incredible. Our favourite stay of our whole trip exploring the black Forrest. would highly recommend!!

We were locals (Wiesental) and now in Rheinfelden We've known the inn for a long time, when it was even older. Now it's just great for dining out and, we heard, for vacations too. Thanks again for the very good food and the service was top notch. We recommend the Waldfrieden with a clear conscience Brunhilde and Walter Balsser

We ate very much at the restaurant. The food was delicious and very attractively presented. The service was great and the guest room was newly renovated and looks very friendly, bright and comfortable. We were very satisfied and will be back soon.

Small hotel, located in the countryside, large parking lot, quiet location, clean. Food was very good, good service. Pool is on the garden level, with massage jets, perfectly adequate and water at a good temperature. Was with a small dog - he was welcome and no problems.

Very nice country hotel. Everything is just right here, very nice and courteous owners who do (everything) themselves there but still have everything under control. You can tell straight away that people work here with pleasure and fun. The food that is served there in the evening is even more praiseworthy. We are all absolutely thrilled! 4 days we were pampered by incredibly nice and dedicated hosts. Delicious and honest fresh cuisine. Here you can feel the love for handicraft. No wish seems too much and you just feel welcome and in good hands. In addition, uncomplicated hosts who are so open and friendly. We would love to come back again.

We had a wonderful time, though it was a short holiday, but the two days were rejuvenating. The food was exquisite and we enjoyed the stay very much. Not to miss, the hosts were lovely people. We look forward to an another visit soon. I guess if its Schwarzwald, its only Landhaus Sonnenhof Schwarzwald.

Good food for fair price. If you walk onto the hochkopf mountain there are some nice views of the Swiss alps to when the skies are clear.

Great location for short holidays. Owners are really kind and warm. The restaurant and cafe is also very good. I strongly recommend homemade cakes at the noon time.

Good hotel with good food. The only negative was the "ruhe tag" and that we had to go to another hotel for diner. During the ruhe tag the hotel provided a free bus transport between the two hotels.

Friendly and helpful hosts, good local food and spacious rooms. The ski lifts are a 5min drive away, there is also a bus stop 300m from the gasthaus. Only downside for me was that the pillows are a bit soft.

Delicious food in a beautiful garden terrace overlooking the forested mountain! The service was great and very welcoming. We had the snitzel and a local wild hog bratwurst. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay if you want to visit the Sky area in Feldberg. It has a great bus connection to it and you can easily reach it. The rooms were very clean and in order. The host family and the employees were also super nice and helpful, they answer all of our questions and were always very friendly. Would stay there again for sure.

Hotel rooms were clean and well equipped. Restaurant: everything was fresh and very well prepared. I was served friendly. Price-performance ratio is very good.

The place is just lovely and very close to feldberg. The staff is really nice, the room is big with a great balcony with view to the garden and mountains. The beds were excellent!!! And the shower as well. Breakfast is very good with fresh fruit salad and omelette!

Nice family hotel near the Wiese waterfall. Great scenery. Good bathrooms - a bit small but with nice hot water, a good and powerful hair dryer. Spacious rooms with balcony. Free and sufficient parking. Great and central location for a week in the black forest.

Cool Location. Perfect Hotel to take a break for couple of days as a motorcyclist. The hotel is located at the top of the Notschreipass.

Got down for a break whilst traveling. Hotel is currently closed due to Corona but there's a small concession stand running selling hot and cold drinks as well as hot food. We had a coffee and it was fine. The sausages were quite appetizing on a cold day

Ideal location on a pass right in the Black Forest, perfect for hiking and biking. E-MTB's, swimming pool and wellness available on site. Vegan menu is one of the best ever. Corona-proof - we felt very safe while here.

A nice hotel with friendly staff that speak English quite well. The sauna, swimming pool and spa are nice to visit as well, and the massage is worth it if you just did a long hike or are about to leave for one! The rooms are clean and nice, and the restaurant is more than decent!
