5 bliss days with delicious basic food, a place set at 1100m, 16km away from nearest civilisation. To make it perfect, a variety of various treatments are offered - and worth the extra expense.

The view during the breakfast is breathtaking! The wellness is an extra cost, for the price by night it should be included!)

We didn’t stay, but ate dinner there twice. It was very delicious and presented with flair. Unbelievable low prices .. a very, very positive experience!

The hotel is located in the higher part of the hill offering a super nice view. The room looks old but clean. The staff is nice and friendly. The restaurant is very good. Food is well cooked and tasty. The breakfast room offers a very nice view from the two windows. The location is quite. The only thing that I didn’t like is the mattress.

The guest house Sonnhalde is a very cozy guest house in Wieden. Our room with bathroom was big enough, cleaned every day and also adequately equipped. The only downside to room 4 is the balcony with a view of a rock. But you can also sit on the terrace in the evening and enjoy the beautiful view. The breakfast was varied and plentiful every day. The hostess responded competently to the wishes and needs...

Great accommodation, large, very clean rooms, homemade rolls and homemade jams every morning, fresh cold cuts. Super hospitable landlords who can give great tips for excursions. Are very enthusiastic

This place lies nestled in a beautiful black forest mountain valley. Host was very welcoming and had great suggestions on thing to do and restaurants. Clean, welcoming and feels like coming home.

A wonderful Gastehaus! We have stayed here several times and every time it is like going home. Wieden is a small village nestled in a valley of the High Black Forest, and it coffee-table-book beautiful. The view from the balcony of the room is breathtaking, Frau Klingele is a wonderful hostess and best of all, she speaks English! The rooms are big and modern and clean. A wonderful place to stay

An excellent hotel that offers a great view over the Wieden valley because it's located above the city of Widen. The hotel provides sauna and a swimming pool (which was a bit cold however). The rooms are very high class and so is the restaurant. The breakfast is very very rich and diversed (salmon is served!). The service is very good as well. An easy 5-star hotel :)

Absolutely top is of course the view. You should definitely pay attention to a room with mountain views. As far as I could see, these rooms all had a balcony. Our room was definitely clean and contemporary. Continuously walk-in shower, fluffy carpet, undamaged furniture, two armchairs with additional table (much praise), and very spacious. We only had one dinner here but it was very good. The food was deliciously prepared, no ready made sauces etc and the house wine was good too. The interior is still good old Black Forest kitsch, not everyone's taste, but the atmosphere in the conservatory extension is bright and open.

Cool Location. Perfect Hotel to take a break for couple of days as a motorcyclist. The hotel is located at the top of the Notschreipass.

Got down for a break whilst traveling. Hotel is currently closed due to Corona but there's a small concession stand running selling hot and cold drinks as well as hot food. We had a coffee and it was fine. The sausages were quite appetizing on a cold day

Ideal location on a pass right in the Black Forest, perfect for hiking and biking. E-MTB's, swimming pool and wellness available on site. Vegan menu is one of the best ever. Corona-proof - we felt very safe while here.

A nice hotel with friendly staff that speak English quite well. The sauna, swimming pool and spa are nice to visit as well, and the massage is worth it if you just did a long hike or are about to leave for one! The rooms are clean and nice, and the restaurant is more than decent!

Is in a one bedroom apartment. Spacious and comfortable apartment, with a fully equipped kitchen and a cute balcony facing the mountain and a small stream. The apartment has heating and air conditioners that worked great and is brilliant in cleanliness. The owner is very nice. Chocolates and beers and a variety of soft drinks were waiting for us in the room. The pharmacy downstairs is also useful....

We stayed here twice in August and we're so glad we did - what an amazing place! It's a gem of luxury in a small and relaxed town. Friendly and helpful hosts, good local food and spacious rooms. The ski lifts are a 5min drive away, there is also a bus stop 300m from the gasthaus. Only downside for me was that the pillows are a bit soft.

Delicious food in a beautiful garden terrace overlooking the forested mountain! The service was great and very welcoming. We had the snitzel and a local wild hog bratwurst. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay if you want to visit the Sky area in Feldberg. It has a great bus connection to it and you can easily reach it. The rooms were very clean and in order. The host family and the employees were also super nice and helpful, they answer all of our questions and were always very friendly. Would stay there again for sure.

We are all absolutely thrilled! 4 days we were pampered by incredibly nice and dedicated hosts. Delicious and honest fresh cuisine. Here you can feel the love for handicraft. No wish seems too much and you just feel welcome and in good hands. In addition, uncomplicated hosts who are so open and friendly. We would love to come back again.

We had a wonderful time, though it was a short holiday, but the two days were rejuvenating. The food was exquisite and we enjoyed the stay very much. Not to miss, the hosts were lovely people. We look forward to an another visit soon. I guess if its Schwarzwald, its only Landhaus Sonnenhof Schwarzwald.

The place is just lovely and very close to feldberg. The staff is really nice, the room is big with a great balcony with view to the garden and mountains. The beds were excellent!!! And the shower as well. Breakfast is very good with fresh fruit salad and omelette!

Nice family hotel near the Wiese waterfall. Great scenery. Good bathrooms - a bit small but with nice hot water, a good and powerful hair dryer. Spacious rooms with balcony. Free and sufficient parking. Great and central location for a week in the black forest.
