Hospitality at its best. Even having arrived late in the evening, the lady owner and her husband the chef, served up a nice local inspired meal that was absolutely delicious. The room was large, super clean and inviting and as mostly in Germany the bedding was top notch. Prices were reasonable and service and quality of food exceptional. Don’t leave without trying the breakfast buffet!

Great location with seating available inside and out. Spectacular view of the city and mountains. The waitstaff was very polite and accommodating, and the building was very clean. The dinner was tasty and service was prompt.

We were there with colleague for business 2 night stay. I have to say that there is really great kitchen and the steak was just perfect. Staff was nice and helpfull. There were just minor details such as not enough of scrambled eggs on both breakfast and only one set of bed sheats in 2 bed room, but this was fixed wery fast. So nothing to take rate down.

Family owned hotel. Clean. Friendly owners. Not a luxury hotel, and some rooms need updating in terms of bedding, but still a good place to stay. Everything is really clean. They serve breakfast, which is also an acceptable middle class level. The restaurant has good steaks, and friendly service.

The only irritation: Internet access is free, but crappy: WiFi only, some of the Access Points disconnect for no apparent reason, you have to jump through several hoops to get online (WPA password, then a 24-hour access ticket with a username and password...

Breakfast is ok, location of the hotel is a little bit far away from the cities but close to the Swiss border

Rooms OK, nice bathrooms. Beds could be better and the weather made the rooms uncomfortable without Aircon. Would be better when the bar and restaurant is finished.

I was here for three months on a business trip. Perfect and clam place to rest while the city center is quiet close and at walkable distance. The owner is very gentle and the staffs are very friendly too. May be one of the best place to stay in schopfheim.

Beautiful location where you can see the hills all around as far as the alps. A bit hard to get to but worth it! Perfect if you want to do some walking in the evening. In the evening the food there is really good. Above all very friendly people, we enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come again.

I stayed here for 3 nights during a business trip. I was amazed in the morning by the amazing view from my room. No surprise then, that the people who work here are very friendly and polite. I had some great conversations with them during breakfast. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only complained i had, that the internet was weak and cut out from time to time.

Stayed the night at the Adler hotel. Clean and good size room, comfy double bed, bathroom all clean and spacious as well. Food was delicious. Recommend it.

The location is the best part, it's located just 5 minutes from the train station. In addition, lots of shopping areas, supermarkets and restaurants around. Breakfast is standard, with juice, breads, croissants, cornflakes, eggs, fruits forming the main ingredients.

I spent a week here on a business trip to Umicore. Everything is fantastic here. The staff, furnishings, decor, food, history...just book it. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Had the most wonderful dinner here last night! It reminded me of Christmas dinner back in Scotland. Beautifully cooked venison with all the lovely trimmings. The owner was really nice and attentive and helped us choose the right things. Fröhliche Weihnachten!

There are definitely no negative points from me, because after my flight was delayed and I arrived in Rheinfelden well after 10 p.m., I was still able to get into my room! Very clean room, very quiet location, very nice and courteous staff. Definitely a pension where I would check in again! I would like to add that the rooms with balconies are ideal for smokers and they also have ashtrays. Perfect

Wonderful experience during the whole weekend! Very friendly staff in the hotel but also at the restaurant and bar. The food was delicious and there is a nice range of available drinks. The surroundings are beautiful. We'll visit anytime again, hopefully soon!

The service in this hotel is the best service that I have had in years. This hotel group wants to do everything for you and your party to make you comfortable and make sure you have an excellent stay. Cannot fault the intent and food options and quality of rooms.

we stayed here for one night stopover during our bike trip. Clean and nice rooms for a good price. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel has excellent food.. Would stay here again.

Clean rooms with comfortable macerates, but very hot during summer - lack of air condition. Furniture probably remember 70th of past century but in usable condition. Hotel staff helpful and vital.

The hotel is located next to an industrial area only 600m from the Swiss border. The hotel only has breakfast service but restaurants are in a short walking distance. The room was very clean and well equipped with all the essentials.

Its nice, with fresh food, but it was with some insects in that tube where the food split around. But I suggest to give a try. Service was not so friendly...

Nice room's for a good price. The hotel is located in a light industry area. It's okay for a night. Coffee maker on the room isn't usable. Totally calcified. Service is friendly. Free wifi, but not the best coverage. The room's looking nice, with modern furniture. The bathroom has also a nice look, but the place, where you can dry the towels, was broken. A lot nicer, more luxurious and clean. Really can't say anything bad about it. Ideal for a stay at the Swiss border.
