A local family owned and operated hotel. Rooms does not have any air conditioning, so it does gets very hot and humid during summer.

Hospitality at its best. Even having arrived late in the evening, the lady owner and her husband the chef, served up a nice local inspired meal that was absolutely delicious. The room was large, super clean and inviting and as mostly in Germany the bedding was top notch. Prices were reasonable and service and quality of food exceptional. Don’t leave without trying the breakfast buffet!

Family owned hotel. Clean. Friendly owners. Not a luxury hotel, and some rooms need updating in terms of bedding, but still a good place to stay. Everything is really clean. They serve breakfast, which is also an acceptable middle class level. The restaurant has good steaks, and friendly service.

I was here for three months on a business trip. Perfect and clam place to rest while the city center is quiet close and at walkable distance. The owner is very gentle and the staffs are very friendly too. May be one of the best place to stay in schopfheim.

Beautiful environment, nice hotel.

Beautiful location where you can see the hills all around as far as the alps. A bit hard to get to but worth it! Perfect if you want to do some walking in the evening. In the evening the food there is really good. Above all very friendly people, we enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come again.

I stayed here for 3 nights during a business trip. I was amazed in the morning by the amazing view from my room. No surprise then, that the people who work here are very friendly and polite. I had some great conversations with them during breakfast. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only complained i had, that the internet was weak and cut out from time to time.

This establishment is more of a restaurant with some bedrooms than a hotel. The food served in the restaurant is a gourmet take on traditional German food. The food served is sourced locally, and made on the premises. The rooms are quite small, fairly spartan, with hard floors, sharp cornered furniture, and minimal decoration. Stayed the night at the Adler hotel. Clean and good size room, comfy double bed, bathroom all clean and spacious as well. Food was delicious. Recommend it.

The location is the best part, it's located just 5 minutes from the train station. In addition, lots of shopping areas, supermarkets and restaurants around. Breakfast is standard, with juice, breads, croissants, cornflakes, eggs, fruits forming the main ingredients.

I spent a week here on a business trip to Umicore. Everything is fantastic here. The staff, furnishings, decor, food, history...just book it. I promise you won't be disappointed.

There are definitely no negative points from me, because after my flight was delayed and I arrived in Rheinfelden well after 10 p.m., I was still able to get into my room! Very clean room, very quiet location, very nice and courteous staff. Definitely a pension where I would check in again! I would like to add that the rooms with balconies are ideal for smokers and they also have ashtrays. Perfect

Wonderful experience during the whole weekend! Very friendly staff in the hotel but also at the restaurant and bar. The food was delicious and there is a nice range of available drinks. The surroundings are beautiful. We'll visit anytime again, hopefully soon!

The service in this hotel is the best service that I have had in years. This hotel group wants to do everything for you and your party to make you comfortable and make sure you have an excellent stay. Cannot fault the intent and food options and quality of rooms.

Very comfortable hotel in a small village. Very nice staff and fantastic breakfast. In the village reigns an incredible silence and thanks to the fountain everything is very relaxing. Unique is the restaurant, prices out of the ordinary to be in a small village. Grappa 9,5€ is too much.

To reach by car, a beautiful path leads to this Restaurant, When you start in Wyhlen you land here after a ~1 hour hike. I would really love vegan options here, since i think the chef is talented and we should go with the time, and more and more people would like to be able to eat out vegan.

However, they used a phone number for the key machine (i arrived very late) I could not figure out, so I had to use another hotel spontaneously. Great service, very friendly staff. Diner is perfect in the restaurant, breakfast fresh and a lot of choice and variety. Rooms a bit outdated, but clean and comfortable. Dogs welcome: a big plus for us!

Modern, clean hotel at a relatively good price so near to Basel. I am not sure what the breakfast is like, but everything else was fine. Air conditioning was perhaps underpowered in our room. The town of Rheinfelden served only as a bed while visiting the much more attractice Basel.

Never make a reservation on Hostelworld ! After the confirmation of booking a room, I walked there and it was closed for Christmas holidays! I had to sleep in the train station... terrible experience .

A wonderful, charming main house, full of well picked details, you feel that it’s a family run business. I loved the terrace on the ceiling. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean and with a kind of “feel at home” atmosphere, the breakfast is rich and leaves you with no wish unfulfilled. An absolute recommendation!

This little gem is nestled within a quiet neighborhood in Lorrach. The grounds are well kept and lit in the evening. Staff is courteous and helpful. Take a look inside the wonderful old building. Room was spacious and clean. I would recommend people to stay here.

Second time staying here and we can't say enough good things about this place. Fair room rate, clean and comfortable rooms, free parking, good breakfast, super friendly and helpful staff and the piece de resistance is the honor bar-fridge where you can take some cold beers or wine, add your room number to a chart and just settle up when you check out. Why don't more places do this!?

The hotel is located next to an industrial area only 600m from the Swiss border. The hotel only has breakfast service but restaurants are in a short walking distance. The room was very clean and well equipped with all the essentials.

Are you going to Basel? Stay in a hotel in Lörrach :) Clean, quiet room. Very comfortable bed. Tasty breakfasts, great coffee. When staying in a hotel, ask for free transport tickets. This gives you the opportunity to travel around Lörrach, but also to Basel or Freiburg, free of charge. Underground parking is available for an additional fee of EUR 50 per week.

Comfortable rooms. Slightly old fashioned, but very good price. We had a very early leave the following morning to catch our flight (5am) and there was no staff to be found, which was slightly frustrating but not the end of the world.
