Hotel & Gasthaus DAS ROHRL Straubing

Hotel has great location, rooms good quality and size, clean, e!ghty s!x a night. Restaurant was outstanding. Staff friendly. Very happy with stay and dining experience. They have a bike garage.

I had the most comfortable and wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, spacious and the decor was lovely. The owners and the managers are very friendly. It's also very centrally located and makes for a pleasant stay in Straubing.

Beautiful hotel that’s been fully remodeled. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Right in the center of town. A little more $$ than the place next door but the service and space were luxurious and worth it. Staff are attentive and helpful as well with questions.

We had reservations at another hotel..4 Star.won’t mention their name . There,.. Well the elevator didn’t work the room was tiny not to mention the shower.. and it was difficult to find parking! My husband was miserable because the nights were hot in may.. no A/C.
My sister, who lives in Straubing began contacting my nephew who put together a list and so began the search for another hotel.. during Father’s Day week! No everything was booked.

Well, a friend of friend said go see Andreas! The moment we got there to Hotel Rohr , Andreas gave us options! The room we chose was huge! He said there could be noise because of the party goers (we were on the square downtown )! For cool air open the windows..
Breakfast was included! Well,it was perfect ! The nights were cool… there’s a restaurant on the premises with the best food, beer and friendly workers! We would get up and go downstairs to a European continental breakfast…! Then you step out front right into the hustle and bustle of the locals hanging out intermixed with tourists! The cleaning crew… our favorite person, Tina, who served my husband a baby beer!;) I could go on and on! It’s a great place at Hotel Rohr!!!! Oh and talk about laid back… maybe because he knew my sister but no rush on check out time!
It felt like we were visiting family!
When it comes to star ratings… not everything is as it seems!
Here…you have parking and you can sit out front for a beer and conversation or take it to your room!!❤️❤️ Next visit… not bothering to check any place else.. we will be tight at home here with Andreas and his staff of the coolest people !!!!

Oh yes… the other hotel… after we checked in …then we were told…extra for breakfast … extra for parking … extra for any little thing!
Here no hidden fees… he tells you right up front!!!!

Super friendly staff, nice welcome and very clean rooms.

The rural facade hides a modern hotel, however the shower has glass walls and the room is adorned with mirrors, privacy absolutely not guaranteed. Perfect central location with many restaurants, quite bike friendly
