Hotel opened in 1991, renovated in 2001. In this hotel 43 rooms, 6 floors.
Policies and conditions
- Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 5 years old stay for free when using an available cot.
Children from 6 years old to 12 years old stay for € 22.50 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
People 13 years old and over stay for € 35 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.

Wonderful location, no need to hunt for breakfast as their buffet is top notch! Comfortable rooms and attentive staff. We will go back for more German adventures! Recovered here after surgery in Bogen, staff aware and helpful.

Great and Central location. Their breakfast is also just wonderfull. Reception is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Great place to stay and explore.

This is the greatest Hotel .The room is terrific and the staff makes it like a home away from Home . .Mrs Weber is so nicke and she goes out oft her way to Make you feel comfortable. It is higher than 5 Stars if there was a higher rating .Truly the best.

Great place, the rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful!
The breakfast is delicious, all of the food has an amazing quality!
The hotel is really well localised, is in the middle of the city, has a underground park that is paid! However the blankets are very short and the shower gel and other products don’t are refilled during 1 whole week!

Really well placed hotel, really in the center of straubing.
Paid underground park, really clean overall.
The hotel is always warm even when it’s freezing outside.
The downsides are that they did not reffil the soap or shampoo for a whole week, and the blankets are weirdly small.
The breakfast is divine, the quality is superb, the pastry amazing.
There is bo much variety but it’s not a problem when the quality it’s that good!
Staff is helpful and able to communicate in good english.

This is a well-run and clean hotel. The best quality is the location- right by the Theresien Tor and the old city. I was very glad that they had air conditioning in the room since it was quite a hot day. The staff was friendly and competent. We were on a bike tour and were able to store our bikes in the underground garage. the breakfast buffet was good. I was happy that my request for a double room for two separate beds was granted. We didn't have much of a view, just the roof, but it was quiet. The rooms are not big but okay in size. For my taste the bed was a bit hard. No coffee, tea, or hot water cooker but there was a mini bar.

Had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Theresientor last summer for an extended stay. It was absolutely delightful! The staff was always so kind and courteous! The beds were amazing and the breakfast was fresh and delicious! It was a wonderful experience in such a beautiful setting! I hope to go back one day...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Good hotel, nice and quiet rooms.
Perfect situated in the center. Enough parking room.
Only breakfast in the hotel.
No bar
But the restaurants bars etc are directly available outside the hotel.
Eg Zum Geiss has perfect diners.

Truely they make it difficult to find a flaw in their hotel. It was a wonderful experience. Certainly I will stat there again.

Stayed there quite often while working for Henrichsen/ILC: Excellent service, very friendly staff. Rooms always tidy, good beds. Breakfast buffet top-notch! Never been disappointed.
