Great hotel: professional, helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast as well as dinner was delicious and mostly prepared with local ingredients.

Good Hotel with commendable Restaurant. The market place is a cul-de-SAC, therefore very quiet. The ferry shuttles constantly to the S-Bahn on the opposite Bank.

Simply recommendable: the rooms are clean, the bathrooms are relatively new. I don't really need more on a hiking holiday. The breakfast is definitely outstanding, which we did not expect here. Friendly and comfortable hotel centrally located in peaceful small town with plenty of walk, cycling and even boat trip recommendations.

Comfortable rooms, cosy little self-service bar and a delicious breakfast buffet. Furthermore, it lies at the town's central market, so there are dozens of restaurants just outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful: if you ask, they'll happily help you planning your stay in Stadt Wehlen!

A bit overpriced for what it's worth but the panorama is indeed lovely. The climb up from the ferry is absolute murder, avoid if possible.

Very beautiful and idyllic accommodation with a great breakfast and very friendly staff. The balcony/bay window was especially great; you could sit outside for a long time in the evenings. Thank you for the lovely days.

The guesthouse is very quiet and a great starting point for many hikes. Parking is very easy thanks to its own free parking lot. The staff are very friendly. You have to get used to the creaking wooden floor, and unfortunately, you have to let the water run for a while before it gets warm.

Nice place that gave us a pleasant surprise during our hike of the Malerweg. They have a very nice Spa area with IR, finish, steam and normal saunas. The room was big enough to hold 2 people and luggage comfortably and even had a small balcony for two. Wifi was mostly ok. Cool decor and a wide range of sporting activities both in and near to the hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable with a verandah. The food and drink was all excellent.

Awesome place for a couples weekend. Good food, good service, clean modern rooms, nice sauna and a load of sporting activities. All of this for a reasonable price.

The food at the restaurant was exactly what I needed after a tiring hike. The staff was very courteous and helpful (as long as you could get their attention), when I expressed concern over not having tasted crayfish before, they brought me some before they prepared the meal.

We didn't stay at the hotel but we did eat at the restaurant. The server spoke great English, was quick, and kept checking on us. The location was good because it was right by a boat, people would take to go hiking. So, you could get a sweet treat right after hiking. Or a delicious meal. It was so cool because there was a robot that served your food to you. The food was delicious. We got desserts....

We were very pleased with our stay. The location is great for excursions around the region. The hotel restaurant is great and the rooms as well as the wellness center are clean and cozy. Small flaws in the hotel are more a matter of taste, so not relevant here, but: the fitness room could be loved more :)

Ideal structure as a starting point for walks in the surrounding area. Large and clean room. Leave the car on the other side of the Elbe and reach the hotel by boat.

Beautiful Hotel with all the amenities but very unfriendly staff upon arrival you will be sharply addressed to the Desk, the man is not stupid signs to read, and furthermore, the renovation of jam at the Wallpaper in the corridors, in part, breakdown, furniture scratched and... last point, no Parking 200 meters to the hotel with suitcases run you need to ca or a ferry ride cost to get to a... conclusion...

Very nice room with a renovated bathroom. Great location and the sauna is great after a long day of hiking taking one of many trails is the surrounding area. A comment for foreigners, the saunas are mixed and full nudity, which is common for Germany. The breakfast buffet was excellent however the restaurant only average, we ended up eating dinner at other close by places instead of at the hotel.

We were there for lunch before the hiking and for a coffee after the hiking. The mushrooms were delicious and the Cappuccino as well. Good quality food.

Went here for a conference ages ago. It was excellent: people are professional and very helpful. Rooms are good, too. It is nice and quute even though it is located next to the main tourist route to Bastei. Returned last weekend for a hiking tour. Had a coffee at this place and it has not changed. Everybody is very polite, pofessional and busily working to fulfill your needs.

Cozy place, decent food for friendly price

Great place for dinner, they even have an English translation of the menu. The food was really delicious for a good price. The pork tongue was really delicious, the pork steak with mushrooms was also delicious. I highly recommend this place. Also the atmosphere inside is very nice and the waiters are kind.

Excellent Hotel and very friendly staff! The food was delicious too and it was so good, we ate there every evening! The location is wonderful with a great view of the Elbe from the beergarden. Will definately go back!!!

Really cute hotel along the river. The staff were extremely kind and the dinner was definitely worth trying. Our room was sunny and clean. We were really happy with our stay! Only thing to note is that it is an 20-30 minute walk to pirna town and not accessible by public transport on weekends. So good if you have a bike or car but we walked and it was still ok :)

We visited during a major heat wave, and there was no air conditioning or way to cool down. I know this is very common in this part of the world, but it made the stay very uncomfortable. The beds were average at best. We enjoyed the breakfast and the bathrooms.

Overall the hotel is really nice. The room was a bit old and smelly, also a bit dark. On the other hand, breakfast was really nice: nice variety, good tea, very cosy breakfast area, good service. The cleanliness of the rooms and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff are definitely worth more than 5 stars! You get to have an amazing view of the entire region from here. It's a quite far from most of the attractions but the view is worth it.

It‘s a nice 45 min’s walk from Hohnstein to that restaurant. The view is breathtaking and it‘s therefore called the terrace of the saxon switzerland and that‘s a very good description of that beautiful place. The ‚Hafersäcke‘ - a rock formation that looks like several oat sacks is near by. The restaurant itself offers good food for hungry hikers and you can stay overnight. Reservation is recommended...
