Super Hotel.... A wonderful weekend had there... And, contrary to some of the posted reports, I can only say, the staff was super friendly and always competent contact on the spot.... Beautiful Hotel with all the amenities but very unfriendly staff upon arrival you will be sharply addressed to the Desk, the man is not stupid signs to read, and furthermore, the renovation of jam at the Wallpaper in the corridors, in part, breakdown, furniture scratched and... last point, no Parking 200 meters to the hotel with suitcases run you need to ca or a ferry ride cost to get to a... conclusion...

The food at the restaurant was exactly what I needed after a tiring hike. The staff was very courteous and helpful (as long as you could get their attention), when I expressed concern over not having tasted crayfish before, they brought me some before they prepared the meal.

Great hotel experience in close proximity to the area‘s most prominent sights. Fair price. Hotel facilities are modern, nice and clean. Great rooms and wonderful spa area. Food was included (breakfast and dinner) and great. Can only recommend:)

We didn't stay at the hotel but we did eat at the restaurant. The server spoke great English, was quick, and kept checking on us. The location was good because it was right by a boat, people would take to go hiking. So, you could get a sweet treat right after hiking. Or a delicious meal. It was so cool because there was a robot that served your food to you. The food was delicious. We got desserts....

River view was exceptional, near to walking paths, travelling through the river

We were very pleased with our stay. The location is great for excursions around the region. The hotel restaurant is great and the rooms as well as the wellness center are clean and cozy. Small flaws in the hotel are more a matter of taste, so not relevant here, but: the fitness room could be loved more :)

Ideal structure as a starting point for walks in the surrounding area. Large and clean room. Leave the car on the other side of the Elbe and reach the hotel by boat.

We were out to dinner. It was very good. The food was very tasty and a good selection of regional products! Especially good are the homemade lemonade :)

Nice Hotel in a quiet location with superb views. Also for celebrations, the panorama restaurant or the terrace. The Service is always friendly and the quality of the food at a good level.

A bit overpriced for what it's worth but the panorama is indeed lovely. The climb up from the ferry is absolute murder, avoid if possible.

Here the price performance ratio not true at all. We paid for a very nice furnished double room 140 Euro per night. The service at the front Desk gave us always the feeling that we are nervous. Unfortunately, just passing through, I was 2 weeks ago, the room with the sounding name "cowshed": very tastefully furnished, the bathroom with extra wide shower tray, all Sandstone colors, the view from the bed on the spacious terrace at the Pfaff stone. In the Morning, in the twilight, in 30 minutes on the Plateau of the lilies stone, to experience the sunrise above the sea of fog in the Elbe-loop...

I was there with my son for a weekend last summer. The staff is super nice, very helpful (I am blind) and on request also tips on excursions, hiking trails and so on. The hotel is very clean and the food tastes delicious too. Even a massage we could treat ourselves on Sunday, which was very relaxing. We can only recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again.

Beauty area was too nice. We had a pure romance arrangement, which I highly recommend. Went for dinner there. Got Gulasch and Apfelstrudel both were extraordinary. Service was good. Would definitely recommend and we will visit next time when we go to Hohnstein. Location is great too,right opposite to Burg Hohnstein.

The staff was very kind. The service was very good. I enjoyed breakfast and also dinner. They have a very nice terrace. I had a room on the top floor of the hotel. It was next to the church tower. The clocks started to make noise early in the morning.

Location is in the center of the little town, place is beautiful almost at the entrance of the castle but the food is not delicious, below average 👎

The rooms were comfortable, but can be improved. The staff was very unfriendly and the restaurant was supposed to be open at 15:00, but I couldn't find anyone there. Go somewhere else if you can.

Cozy place, decent food for friendly price

Great place for dinner, they even have an English translation of the menu. The food was really delicious for a good price. The pork tongue was really delicious, the pork steak with mushrooms was also delicious. I highly recommend this place. Also the atmosphere inside is very nice and the waiters are kind.

Great food great ambience! But the bowling alley was a little noisy from the restaurant area, I guess that can’t be helped. It is still cool that they manage to fit 3 bowling alleys in there!

A well run establishment, neat comfortable well equipped apartments with state of the art facilities. Enjoyed very satisfying breakfasts in the restaurant.

3 stars would be appropriate. Bottle of beer from the fridge is not a 4-star level. Room quite nice. Breakfast Ok, but self-service coffee is a youth hostel Level.

A bit of an old internal design, but everything was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the breakfast was rich.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Wonderful views. The staff are beyond friendly and professional. The rooms are tip-top and Jessica is the most beautiful woman in all of Germany. This is the place to choose for a short stay or a long stay. If we ever come back to Bad Schandau we would 100% stay here again.

I would not give the Hotel 5 stars. I would give it 3 stars based on the following observations. The breakfast buffet was simple, void of fresh fruit, fresh juice, and the eggs boiled hard. The wood flooring adjoining the balcony door was damaged, split, and flaking. The remote speaker in the bathroom didn’t function and the Kneipp foot bath in the courtyard was filthy and not functional. No Concierge...

Nice hotel in a perfect environment for a hiking vacation with a confortable stay (+sauna!). The staff was nice and accomodating.

We attended the Christmas night ballroom dance and had a lovely time. The ballroom is beautiful and has a really nice floor. The music was good. We discovered dance by chance and went because we were staying nearby. We will be going back next Christmas. Update we have been coming every year for the dance except during covid.

food was average but I give 4 stars mainly because of waiters which were generally quite nice and normal. I found it to be an exception in the area of Sachsische Schweiz

Visited as part of the panorama tour, the ferry travels on the Elbe between Krippen and Bad Schandau. Walking a shortcut that I didn't want to use on my bike.

Has fully met our expectations. There is nothing to complain about. With the presentation of the breakfast you have come up with something good. (It was served like in a hotel, we didn't miss anything). This was our first time in a guesthouse and loved it. The use of the guest card was very pleasant. Gladly again

The accommodation was great, it was cleaned daily ... Breakfast was sufficient and you can eat here in your room :-) The breakfast is put in front of the door, so to speak :-) Simply great and a super nice view too :-) Here you can spend your vacation well :-)

Rooms are a bit outdated, but otherwise a very clean, comfy and welcoming place. The breakfast offers a huge choice and the dinner is very tasty although a tad expensive. We really liked option to book a private sauna.

Excellent Hotel and very friendly staff! The food was delicious too and it was so good, we ate there every evening! The location is wonderful with a great view of the Elbe from the beergarden. Will definately go back!!!

Really cute hotel along the river. The staff were extremely kind and the dinner was definitely worth trying. Our room was sunny and clean. We were really happy with our stay! Only thing to note is that it is an 20-30 minute walk to pirna town and not accessible by public transport on weekends. So good if you have a bike or car but we walked and it was still ok :)
