We celebrated our wedding in the Hotel on the castle wood, and were totally satisfied. Especially the consistently friendly staff and the excellent food were great. Clear recommendation for such an Event.

The Hotel is suitable for meetings. Lots of large rooms. In addition, the Standard is of medium quality.

Were already to second Time there. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The staff was very friendly towards us and advised us in finding Bicycle tours in the area are nice. To Relax in the evening is also a swimming Pool is available. The food was very good and plentiful. We will definitely come back again.

Netter Empfang durch Rezpetion, ruhiges Zimmer zu Innenhof, Fahrstuhl, gute Betten, gutes Frühstück, vom Bahnhof in 15 Min zu Fuß erreichbar mit geringem Anstieg. Gutes Essen am Abend im Haus auf schöner Terasse. Direkt unterhalb beginnen die Geschäfte, schöner Park gegenüber und hinter dem Haus Fußweg durch ein Wiesental.

Room Ok, bathroom as well and modern. Just the TV is a little bit small. Good breakfest and restaurant.

Visited the restaurant for a family lunch and it was outstanding. We got great service and the special orders we had for the kids were no problem. I had their argentinian steak from the menu and it was the best steak I've had for a long, long time.

Nice staff and very good food. Breakfast buffet is varied. There are many additional deals like Segway rental or Packed Lunches for hikes. The place Tabarz is very small and quiet, but the ideal base to explore the Thuringian forest. The room is for four stars is sufficient. The only drawback is the small TV. To make all in all a very nice Hotel on vacation.

We were all around satisfied, the rooms were modern, spacious and clean. The food was tasty and very plentiful. Here we would spend any time again for our holiday.

The hotel is in a beautiful location on the edge of the forest. Good to start hiking. The food from the show kitchen is superb. Extremely tasty and very creatively prepared. You sauna is too small if the hotel is well attended. The soul of the house is THE boss, who is always available to help.

Actually, I would like to complain , but there was nothing to complain about , everything was impeccable!

After a few years, again posted. We were very surprised at the much has changed ( new Windows, swimming pool). Only one thing has not changed fortunately, the friendliness of the staff remained. Food great as always. Quality is excellent. Since you can only say: We will come back.

Very good Hotel with a Wellness area. Something in the years come but very clean. Super friendly, helpful staff. The kitchen is more of a magic kitchen. The food actually deserves an additional star.

Nice staff and the room 111 has a lot of space. Restaurant has excellent food, specially for meat tasters. Breakfast has the standard of a 4 stars hotel. The swimming pool could be warmer, but sauna was fine around 85°C

Last weekend we had a small family celebration with an overnight stay. It was a nice evening with delicious food and drinks. We felt well taken care of. The decor and cleanliness of the room is excellent. The good, plentiful breakfast buffet is also worthy of praise. We will keep our stay in good memory and will definitely be back

Great location for hikes. Picturesque garden with plenty opportunities for dining or relaxation, Romantic swings for two under the trees, armchairs for reading inside. Everything nearby, including grocery stores, restaurants, cafés, even a hospital. Very quiet place ideal for relaxation.

The rooms are simply but adequately equipped, the rooms are bright and spacious. The location is very quiet, in the countryside right next to the forest. Perfect for group meetings of up to 25 people. Communication with Matthias was very helpful and nice.

Pleasantly simple, wooden seating in front and behind the house, a particularly large room directly under the roof with lots of wood (floor, windows, ceiling) and a very nice balcony with a view of the countryside including the scent of the conifers. A great location for everyone. Had a meeting with 30 people there over Pentecost and can only recommend the monastery park. Large bright rooms, great breakfast and very pleasant communication with Matthias, the manager of the house. Come back anytime to come back there again.

We stayed for one night with half board. It was amazing! We enjoyed everything, the swimming pool, the sauna, the breakfast and the super super yummy dinner. All the staff at the hotel were professional. We are so impressed. We will for sure come again!

A clean and comfortable hotel with spacious rooms adequately equipped. Superb choice of food at breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing break or in need of somewhere to stay if away on business.

Great place, very quiet. Located in between several forest covered hills it overlooks the quaint hamlet of Friedrichsroda. So far no alligators or yetis detected on the premises.

We had en perfect week at this H+ hotel Ramada. The personell was very friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable. And in comparison with the Ahorn hotel on the hill a haven of peace and quiet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Too many options for kids. Food quality good. Vegan and veggie options available for breakfast and dinner but not for lunch. No mini bar in room which was not good as we had two kids and could not store the milk in fridge, rooms are not of great quality, no ac available. no prams available for babies which was really bad for us as we had a 3 months old.

Great place for every type of traveller (couple, family). A broad variety of services for each age. My highest compliments to the masseuse Mr. Neuberger for his extra focus on my pain points (neck). His experience is shown in his treatment of his clients and he helped my sore back. Great facility and friendly staff. Looking forward on coming there again.

We had booked the hotel as a base for our motorcycle tours through the Thuringian Forest. The room and the bathroom were clean, well furnished and technically up-to-date. Food was good and the service very good. Very friendly service and they will try to accommodate your needs. We ordered some combinations of ingredients to get a meal for our kids and very much tried to get that on our table. Disadvantage is not being able to pay with cards and the closest atm is a 10 min drive by car.
