Good environment, convenient transportation

This is a cut and dry place; no fluff. A standard room has a bed, a small table and chair, a tv, a wardrobe and a small bath with a tiny shower. If all you need is to sleep here, that’s more than fine. Parking, even for check in, is extremely difficult; they have a hotel parking lot, but it is pricey. There is breakfast, but no pool, bar, or other amenities. The room wasn’t super clean when I came...

Room was clean and warm which is enough for me, didn't have breakfast there so I can't say anything about that. It's located 10 min. walk from train station. Has free parking. When you step out of the hotel, you will be at Potsdamer platz in no more than 30 minutes. 10 min walk + 20 min. train ride.

Basic hotel and room. Ok but it felt soulless as there were no staff when I arrived. Saw one woman in the kitchen area who seemed to be the only one there. Area was ok and safe enough, local restaurants were few and far between but local Italian was quite good. Room was hot when I arrived and could not open windows enough to get fresh air in

Great, peaceful and quite location, about 40 minutes from Berlin. Friendly staff, amazing view from the top and decent breakfast selection. The rooms are big enough, very clean and the TV has a few English speaking channels. A place worth coming back to, if relaxation is the key point.

Nice and complete hotel, nice bar, gym, snooker and TVs. Heating system may make a small annoying noise when is not working. Also they need to find a better way to know who had paid for the breakfast and who didn't (not asking table by table "randomly"). Also, the free WiFi is not enough for browsing. Just download some emails and that's it.

One suggestion we have is maybe to move the fitness room to a higher floor then at the garage basement where people could just randomly enter? This is a quirky, eclectic, fun place to stay. The rooms are filled with gorgeous antiques, and the continental breakfast was nice with homemade jams. There were only 2 things that could have used more attention: our bath towels were scratchy and old, and our tea tray was not fully stocked and hidden on the floor of our closet. If those 2 things had been different our stay would have been perfect....

Such a spectacular home in a wealthy quiet neighbour hood. All rooms are very tastefully done and the hosts are charming. Great value for money so can stay in beautiful surroundings and spend the saved money taking Uber into the Mitte 35 Euros. Simple, good restaurants a block away. A refreshing spot of tranquility to escape the intensity of this interesting city.

After dithering for ages about where to stay in Berlin I gambled and opted to stay in an upmarket suburb towards Wansee & Potsdam rather than the city centre. The locale is very attractive, quiet and residential. I like architecture and just walking around the nearby streets admiring the beautiful mix of old and more modern styles was a joy. Location wise you have access to S-Bahn at Mexicoplatz ...

Again and again, in a quiet area with very good Breakfast, rooms are all equipped with new modern bathroom and all the staff are extremely accommodating and have for each problem an open ear.

For my needs, a perfect location. Parking is hard. Huge room, good bed, bathroom is dated and needs help, but overall it was clean and exactly what I needed. Breakfast was as expected.

The place is ok for a B&B. The lady in reception was very helpful. The room is spacious and clean. No private car park but you can easily park along the street. No elevator so it's not good if you have a lot of luggages. Breakfast is just ok - continental only no cooked food.

Stayed there twice. First time the room was really basic and not renovated. Second time the room was in top shape, nicely renovated and maintained.

Long way from BER Long drive. Checked in, did some work. Slept and out early. Did et a wake-up call, even though they don't normally do that.

We initially thought the mattress was no more than a mattress topper. It was approximately 10 cm thick, however it turned out to be comfortable. The hotel was basic as expected, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked. Overall, it was a proximate and economical overnight stay with free car parking before returning the hire car, the next morning in Berlin.

When we arrived, there was no hot water in the room, barely warm. It was unpleasant to take a shower in almost cold water in winter. Later, hot water appeared, but unpleasant impressions remained.

We had the corner room, with lots of natural light. Excellent breakfast.

There are no other hotels near the business trip destinations, such as Jayu University and Hanak House, so it is almost the only hotel, but the organization is so delicious. The accommodations are a bit expensive, but they are always comfortable.

The room was ok but also nothing special. i stayed alone and instead of king bed i had 2 single beds. SPA and fittness is for extra pay: 6 eur. when i booked i had impression that spa was included. Also, there was no water kettle in the room. i had to borrow it and then return upon checkout. Breakfast was very good.

The best place to start a hitchhiking trip from Berlin. You can get a trip to Michendorf within half an hour, it is easily reachable by S-Bahn and tolerates hitchhikers asking people at the gas station. Don't use a sign here just task to people. The only bad thing is that people going to Berlin also stop here. So you might get that aber pretty often.

Very friendly staff. It is located across the road from the Grunewald forest (hence the name), so it is far from the busier areas of Berlin, but it's accessible by train (public transportation)

The hotel was ok. It was very hot on the room and there was no air conditioning neither a fan. The people at the restaurant were not very friendly

We stayed there during the abnormal cold weather (the beast from teh east, march 2018) and we got totally frozen. Even if the heating was at max, the windows were poorly isolated, so we had to buy an electric warmer. As for the rest, a very standard room, located exactlty in the station. The trains don-t bother very much, but the proximity to the station is very nice.

Triple bedroom ensuite is spacious and clean. Clean bathroom equipped with toiletries and hair dryer. Located next to Berlin-Wannsee railway station, just 18 minutes from Berlin central station by train. This hotel was good value of money, since room rate was lower than other hotel in Berlin city.

The location is Wannsee super directly next to the s train station and if you have a room with a view on the lake, you ignored like to the Track sounds of the S and Regio tracks which Yes is totally normal but in the evening, but times may interfere when one is sensitive to noise. In October and now in February we have stayed at the Hotel Bonverde. The rooms are well decorated and clean. The price performance ratio is very good! The Restaurant in the house has us very well fallen. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food tasted good and the portions very ample. Also the price performance ratio was right here. Pros: Great breakfast, nice staff, coffee shops and foods nearby the hotel. Cons: a bit costly, no views except that of the construction site next door, bar closed on Sunday. Missing the British flag from outside the porch

We had a great stay at Steglitz International. The location is excellent—well connected to public transport, with plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. It was easy for us to get around Berlin from here. We didn’t opt for the breakfast, so we can’t comment on that, but overall, it was a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the city.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable, the staff downstairs wouldn’t let me to my room until they “verified who I was” and the music playing in the surrounding areas crept through the walls like rats.

We had a lovely couple of nights here. Yes, the hotel is a bit old, but our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was really friendly and ready to help at all times. Location is okay, close to streets with shops and restaurants, but it's half an hour by bike to the actual centre of Berlin. Plus point: a bike store with rental options is a few meters away!

It's ok for the price. Rooms are not the best but clean with TV and free WLAN. Also it is at night pretty quiet and you can have your window open unlike in other hotels in the city. If you want to stay in an upscale place then you are wrong here.

Upgraded to a suite, which was nice. Had to wait until 2:00 pm to check in... as published, but still a bummer. The place is clean, but old. Breakfast was good, but not complimentary. Front desk could not cash a 20 for the vending machine, which was also a bummer.

The hotel is a ok hotel, located in the fine neighbourhood of Stiglitz, with plenty of restaruants, bar and now, in the summer, nice terraces for al fresco dining. Rooms are ample enough but not big, especially if you get one of the rooms that look over the backyards of the houses. That will be quiet indeed. The hotel however is old, old carpets, old doors and bathrooms etc so not especially modern...

Nice old style gasthouse. What I mean is there are Rooms up above the eating area and back behind. It all had a very homey appeal. Just watch out for those hidden steps. The breakfasts are quite extraordinary.
