I stayed 2 nights. Service was truly bad, the bar and restaurant were closed both days. There's not much around so I had to go to a different neighbourhood for dinner. My room was not serviced either, the bed was not made and dirty towels were not replaced. The water pressure in the shower was so low that it was nearly impossible to wash yourself. And the breakfast was rather poor.
However, the surroundings of the hotel are amazing if you wish to hide away from busy Berlin. The hotel is right in front of a large forest and beautiful river. But be aware it is also far away from the city center and impractical with public transport.

In the rooms and in the hotel as a whole the hygiene is very poor-cobwebs in the rooms, terraces, lobby and restaurant included. Lack of daily cleaning of rooms and bathrooms, waste disposal.

Very rude unhelpful staff. After being informed we had a motor home to park, weeks before we arrived, when we arrived they told us they were fully booked and there was no space for parking and it wasn’t ‘their problem’.
They also messed up our bill and tried to charge us over 200 euro more on checkout.
The staff were all very unhelpful, rude and made our stay very unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel.

Just went for coffee and cake. Wonderful environment and location.

Not recommended. The hotel is poorly maintained, spaces are dirty and interior is used up. Nevertheless, the staff is friendly but had difficulties to speak and understand proper German.

Beautiful Hotel right on the water. We have spent a great week.
Just for a holiday with your dog(s) perfectly located. Once you go across the bridge and it is located in a huge dog run area in the forest.
The room was for two persons plus cot, plus two dog basket a little tight, but we were advised in advance already from the very friendly staff.
The Breakfast is very good and in addition to a lot of different sausage, cheese, jam and muesli there is also fresh fruit every day.
The Hotel seems to be for business travelers to be very popular, but, in my opinion, very good for family vacations. The proximity to Berlin and Potsdam invites you to interesting and exciting day trips.
All in all a great, relaxing and varied, it was holiday.

I don't know how to express it. The place is beautiful but the rest below average.
When arrived, someone from bar/restaurant just quickly came to reception to check us in, gave us the key and quickly went back without an extra word.
The hotel is not baby friendly at all, chairs everywhere. Our rooms was of a good size, but cleaning was done poorly: someone else's food left in the fridge/minibar, hairs in beds.
A very unfriendly waiter was not speaking English at all, when asked for a cheesecake he didn't even know what that is and complaint that we should speak German.
Breakfast was ok, probably fine for €5 per person.
I probably forgot to mention many other things, but apart from the beautiful place, the hotel has nothing I can recommend. In this times of Covid, we hoped to see a cleaner hotel, at least.

Pleasant waterfront hotel in an isolated woody location, nonetheless characteristically within Berlin's city limits. Easy retreat, but not far from the bustle of big-city Berlin.
