Where to stay in Triberg

Irene Schlender is what made this place wonderful. Her cooking was delicious. Her family was charming. We were going to come back but alas she is no longer working there so I will take one star away for that.

Nice hotel at the top of hill. It's great if you have a car as it is more than 20 minutes from MarketPlatz. The host lady is very nice and helpful. There is a nature trail which starts on the hill right in front of the hotel and takes you rut o the waterfall. It takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour. You may face issue with mobile network (at least I can say for Lebara) in some rooms. Wifi isn't the best...

Outdated but clean rooms. We had a family room with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Everything was clean and for a very good price (therefore I don't mind the outdated furniture). I've seen just one person from the staff. We wanted to check out and she kept on the phone for more than 10 minutes while we were waiting. Not friendly! Otherwise I would have given 4 stars.

We had a large 2 bedroom for 4 people. It was comfy, but the furniture didn't match. We had an early train and the receptionist was trying to help us with a taxi but there aren't any available before 7am. The hotel is also on a high, steep hill unlike the other hotels so we had to carry all of our lugagge to the train station, which wasn't fun. Next time we will stay by the train station. This is a great hotel. It is wonderful if you have kids because of the large family rooms, indoor pool, and game room. The owners are very welcoming, and will ensure you have the best stay possible. The other great aspect is the hotel is close to Triberg center without paying the Triberg prices.

The hotel has its charm, it is a family hotel, and it is evident that they operate it with love. The staff is very friendly and the swimming pool was very good (a bit cold but enjoyable). The proximity to the park is nice, especially with children because the playgrounds are very nice. Hotel is pet-friendly, which is important for us.

We ate the afternoonbuffet at the Rebstock Hotel. The service was excellent, very friendly. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety!

An amazing Hotel located a short distance (15 mins) away from Triberg. World class amenities and tasteful decor, right from the lobby through to the restaurant and rooms. The hotel also takes every effort towards sustainability. We requested for a crib in the room for our infant. Nice and big rooms. I sat at the restaurant/bar area for over an hour one evening and nobody came over to check if I wanted anything to drink. My colleague had to walk over to the bar to order. Not the service I'm used to.

You can tell whoever put this place together cares a great deal about their hotel. It is well-maintained, beautiful, and an absolute gem in the black forest. A new hotel with a nice wellness facility, which includes a Finnish sauna, Hamam Sauna, swimming pool (outdoor & indoor). The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is diverse and tasty. The hotel is pretty far from all the bigger cities, but this is probably the good side of it's location - should be nice area for hiking in summer & winter. Overall very good impression.

I stayed in the rosengarten hotel for a working seminar. The place was great and perfect for working and team building events. The food was delicious and the service really good. I can only recommend this place!

Arrived here in desperate search of accommodation after the place we booked lost our reservation. The staff were very helpful and set us up immediately in an excellent room. Good size, very clean and with an excellent view of the town. Later that night we dined in the restaurant and the food was incredible. My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to try the full menu! Thank you very much...

Family managed traditional Black Forest Gasthof. Friendly staff und very helpful! Food is very good, local and fresh! The rooms are very clean - a bit traveling back in time - with newly renovated bathrooms. Dog was allowed after request. Card payment possible. Located right next to various hiking rounds - we did not need to take the car.

Ok place to crash for a night. I didn't like the thin bed linens, but the room was large and clean. The caretaker leaves at about 9pm, but keys are left out for late arrivers. The breakfast buffet in the morning was small but quite nice, and since we were, as far as I can tell, about the only guests still in the hotel it was quite sufficient! Hotel Löwen by Mastiff is one of the best placed I stayed ever. The location is stunning, staff is really good and great food. The hotel also has great view of Black forest and recreational facilities like pool, ping pong, etc. The heated swimming pool and sauna are icing on the cake. I will strongly recommend Hotel Löwen by Mastiff for all visitors.

We had a wonderful stay at Jagerhaus. Clean, spacious, accommodating. Breakfasts and dinners are the best we've had during our travels in the Black Forest. The sauna is HOT and a dive in the freezing water of the pool topped it off. Can't wait to come back for Christmas. Thank you, Ava!

The three of us came completely wet and dirty from a mountain bike tour. We would still be offered a place independently. The hostess? showed us a room where we could change. Much of this hotel is quality, but certain details let it down. It does not cater well for children, as the clientele is older generally. There is a slaughterhouse opposite the hotel which slaughters pigs and the noise is quite disturbing. The half board does not include children, so costs can escalate. Most loungers by the pool are reserved all day. Free drinks are limited, only full sugar drinks...

The hotel is quite old and stuck in time. The owner, however, was very nice. The breakfast is very basic, but okay for 10 euros. We had a room facing the street, which was quite loud. We paid 125 euros per night, but unfortunately, it wasn't worth it.

This is truly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. It might not have a swimming pool or be very large, but the service more than makes up for it. The reception staff are incredibly friendly, the breakfast is great (with bio products!), and the rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable.
