While Trier was not our favorite city this hotel was a very pleasant suprise. The ibis Styles is new to us and it now a chain we will seek out. The rooms were HUGE with very thoughtful additions, like a fold away writing desk and suitcase stand. The only issue we had with this location was that the bikes were not locked away in a garage but in a corner behind the hotel. While they were fine the situation...

Together with my two sons (9 and 11) we stayed at this friendly hotel in the centre of Trier. Perfect location – we were able to visit all the highlights while walking. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast buffet. We had a very pleasant and relaxed stay!

The originally-assigned room has some ventilation noise problem and the staffs help us out immediately. The place is well-located in the Trier old town area so we had a great experience roaming around the city. The only pity is the air-co system is not quite functional, so, it is a bit stuffy at the beginning. Once we opened the windows it got a bit better. All in all, it is a decent stay.

Excellent modern and clean hotel (think business casual) inserted inside a 19th century post office building. We were pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel. Even though we had to search a little bit to find the parking with the roadworks in progress. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The maxi-bar was a daily stop and the free coffee/tea and apples were much appreciated. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The hotel is spot on in the city center. Rooms are small but designed in a way that the desk folds in giving you more space. It's good if you know you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean and functional. But no storage options whatsoever, so you have to live out of your suitcase. The only hot option at breakfast is a hardboiled egg, no scrambled eggs. The birchermueslu is good on the other hand. Breakfast buffet area does get a bit crowded and is maybe not suitable for the amount of people.

This hotel is at a premium location, close to the city. It takes 30 minutes to cross the city center from the hotel to porta nigra. Hotel staff was very kind, rooms were clean but only 3 star cause no AC and the rooms get pretty warm during summer, the pillows were rather uncomfortable and more pillows would’ve been nice, would be a 4 star otherwise

Tucked away near the Römerbrücke, it still manages to catch the eye thanks to all the red. It's a bit loud, since cars regularly drive by, but the location outside is nice. Service was very nice.

The location, right next to the train station and the bus station, is wonderful. Because Trier is a rather small city, everything is in walking distance. The room was perfect for my needs: it was clean, had free wifi, TV, even a free small bottle of wine. The bed was comfortable, not too soft, not too hard. We stayed a night in late July and the service was very fine with quite clean rooms which is great! An older hotel, but thats ok. Our room was overlooking the street and the outside noise went on well past midnight. It was significant, even with ear plugs. Did appreciate the convenient parking! The hotel was also centrally located too.

Clean well run hotel, the staff were very helpful in organising taxi's for us during our stay and spoke good English. The breakfast was amazing, a great start to your day. Comfortable, friendly and very close to the centre. Parking is not easy in Trier and the secure hotel parking available is another plus. Great shower. We also had a pleasant balcony but not every room does.

Rooms clean, make sure you turn heater on right when you get there and the room will warm up. They should leave it on even if on low, but it was off took 3 hours to get the chill off.

The location of the hotel is on the edge of the pedestrian zone. In the house there is a lift with you to the reception Desk in the 2. OG and other rooms. The hotel rooms are partly with stairs, making it difficult to reach a room with walking difficulties. This hotel is quite good and reasonably priced. Good place to stay if you are in Trier. It is a little walk down hill into the town but quite a hike back up. Still, there's always taxis. 😃 The food in their restaurant is good. Staff are helpful and friendly.

was a perfect place to have a vacation surrounded by a foresty and hilly region. It was perfect with helpful staff, excellent room and good breakfast. Only issue I had was the connectivity but that I wouldn't blame the hotel but the city of Trier as the bus routes are indicated on their bus stops but there aren't any buses. No frills hotel with dated rooms and simple beds as well as thin towels. Some hairs were on towels and in the bathroom. Shower is in the middle of the bathroom. One shower curtain was missing, and we had to decide whether to spray the toilet paper or the sink.

We stayed here to go christmas shopping in the area and have no comments. Not overly luxurious but clean hotel, friendly staff, sufficient parking, and internet that works - to spend the night and have breakfast for us!

Very pricey, but excellent food, service and location. Despite being close to a major inter-city street, the location is secluded and calm, placed in a bit of forest. We ordered from the BBQ smoker menu and were very satisfied with the quality of the food. The outside sitting area has a great atmosphere. Only downside is the price, which for most meals don't include any kind of side dishes.

Right on the edge of the forest, not far from the road, a Paradise for the palate. Good clean rooms and abundant Breakfast buffet.

This tiny and clean hotel was situated only 5 minutes walk from the walking center. We got room from third floor (no lift), which means we have to carry our suitcases up narrow stairs. The room was quite small. The bed was located just in the corner. Shower was also quite small at least for grownups. Staff was friendly and hospitality. Breakfast was normal hotel breakfast.

Everyone is super nice and I would certainly stay here again. The rooms are large and spacious and I really feel at home. It's a little odd that you can't decide in the morning if you want breakfast. You have to decide at least 1 day in advance for good reason but when I don't know if I'll have time until the day of it stinks that I can't come downstairs and eat.

Cute little hotel very close to the center of Trier; a five minute walk I would say. The interior design is very unique but decidedly German. Breakfast is 5€ and totally worth it. German "Frühstück" is one of my favorite things in the world and they did it right. The staff is very nice and happy to direct you. Nice place when in Trier for the Christmas Markets.

My Vorbewerter have created, in my opinion, the yardstick as you would in a Hotel, the stay would be more likely to be assigned to a different category.
