Where to stay in Trier

The room was big, nice view, the only thing that i did not like here was the mattress that was split in two! Don't understand why is that if you book a double bed room Great breakfast must say with plenty to choose

Trier is lovely to visit. Rooms are comfortable but broken shower fixture did not get fixed and the rooms lack the amenities, such as tea and coffee facilities or a small fridge or Aircon, one might hope for from a 4* venue, which was frustrating given the price.

A very nice down to earth kind of B&B. It had everything we needed and I was presently surprised. Everything is in walking distance and it’s nice and close to both grocery stores, pizza restaurants, and the train station. The personal was really great! When we needed something we asked for it, and they were always there to help - with a smile on their face too. Can recommend.

The hotel room was clean and tidy. The bathroom had everything that was needed. The windows provide good thermal and sound insulation. Personally the heating of the room was too strong for us, it was too warm so we were sleeping with the window slightly opened. But this is a common thing for hotels. Free cancelation, fast check in and no need to checkout, which is appreciated.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I first came to B&B. I have to commute between two cities where B&B Trier is in the middle and once I stayed there, I returned again and I am planning on doing so. I had everything that was essential to my stay, the hotel is clean, safe, quiet and a great quality for the price. People who run the franchise have thought it through. Absolutely recommended.

Comfortable beds, good room size (enough space for our bags plus us). One down side to the room, we stayed in is that there are no plugs on one side of the bed. Great buffet breakfast provided if you choose to include it in the cost (fruits, cereals, breads, cheeses, cold meats, ...). You do need to pay for on-site parking.

At first sight the hotel looks like a concrete monstrosity from another age but inside the rooms are light, airy and very modern. For the British visitor this hotel is a German experience in the very best sense. The rooms are spotless and decorated in a charming, homely style. The restaurant is excellent and the beer quite superb. The service is excellent and friendly. The only small snag is that it is a little away from the centre but there is a local bus service and good parking so this is a minor issue.

I recently stayed at Blesius Garten and, while the experience was decent overall, there were some downsides. Food and service were OK, but nothing to write home about. Seasoning of the tartar and also the sauces of the mains were a bit too strong and overloaded the taste of the meat/fish instead of just supporting it.

Not recommended for international tourists as most of staff doesn't speak English and they always approach you in German. The room was decent. The food is simply great! Also the personnel is very friendly and often even thinks ahead. We had a beautiful day with our children, visiting the restaurant with the huge park.

It's good if you know you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean and functional. But no storage options whatsoever, so you have to live out of your suitcase. The only hot option at breakfast is a hardboiled egg, no scrambled eggs. The birchermueslu is good on the other hand. Breakfast buffet area does get a bit crowded and is maybe not suitable for the amount of people.

Modern hotel with large rooms and comfortable beds. Parking is available in an underground garage that connects directly to the hotel. Entrance to the pedestrian zone that connects to the center of Trier is but one short block away. Did not partake of the breakfast option.
