Excellent, professional service. Everything we wanted was provided pro-actively without being intrusive. Secured parking, with charging facilities, for bikes was a nice feature. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was the best during our stay in the Mosel valley. Do try the local dessert wine :-)

not a quiet place. busy roads in front and at the back. no airconditioning, so when opening the window is needed, it's noicy. we missed a fridge in the room. diner and breakfast are good. friendly owners. clean rooms.

We made a last minute booking and had a very pleasant stay. Good location and good parking facilities when travelling by car. Food was good and the staff nice and welcoming.

Very nice and I rekommend it

Nice little hotel in the immediate vicinity of the Moselle. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The rooms were clean. The head of the house and all his employees were extremely friendly. A motor boat tour offered by the house to Traben-Trarbach was a lot of fun.

Thank you Ian & Hayley for a fantastic few days at the moselchild hotel. The location is perfect for some sight seeing and wine tasting. We hired some bikes from the hosts (they have normal ane ebikes) and spent a day biking through the hills to some of the more remote wineries. I was cycling and needed a shower and a place to sleep; for this purpose it was entirely ok. The staff is nice. We stayed in a separate house nearby. There was a shack for bicycles that was locked, which was great. A spaceous bathroom, which was also great. It would bebetter though if the place had AC, but you can open the windows if the air is cooler outside - the windows could use a net for insects...

The interior is nice and although the wait staff didn't speak much English, they provided great service. They've got a decent selection of wines as well. Only giving them 3 stars because the schnitzel could have been better.

The location of atles was a nice spot on a t inserction corner. There is a nice little convenient store two buildings away. Very personable and child-friendly staff, the location of the hotel is very good. In general, the hotel is very comfortable, our family room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fabulous, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, delicious cereal and a good selection of rolls and breads. We would book again at the country hotel at any time.

Lovely staff, very friendly. Great location, good food in the restaurant, especially breakfast. No air conditioning in rooms, so too hot in the summer months.

We only went to the restaurant, i can't really speak on the hotel portion as I have never been inside. Excellent food, the service was great and they were very polite with our poor attempts at speaking german. Possibly the best asparagus I have ever had.

5 Stars for the restaurant. Food and service here is great. The restaurant's decor is elegant but the prices reasonable. They aIso have a extensive wine selection. I had the ribeye which came with potatoes that were sweet and spicy. My wife had the daily multi course menu for 24 euros. She got pumpkin soup, salad, rumpsteak, and a parfait. Found this great restaurant that just opened recently on TripAdvisor and was more than pleasantly surprised! We liked each of the little delicacies, the price and performance are right here! A nice concept: The more people who love good food order a table together, the more colorful the selection can be! Everyone orders what appeals to them the most. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Friendly staff that was very attentive. We payed extra to get a balcony and that was well spent money. A beautiful view over the Mosel river! The food was good and well priced. Nice sun garden and pool with both sun and shadow. The only thing that makes it four instead of five stars was a very hard bed and a hopeless pillow.
