We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Friendly staff that was very attentive. We payed extra to get a balcony and that was well spent money. A beautiful view over the Mosel river! The food was good and well priced. Nice sun garden and pool with both sun and shadow. The only thing that makes it four instead of five stars was a very hard bed and a hopeless pillow.

A beautiful German hotel with great food and wine. We had a rustic double superior bedroom with a refurbished bathroom, old polished wooden floors, old black exposed beams. Room was clean and smell fresh. Our room was in this building opposite the checkin building with only 3 bedrooms. Our room faced the road both in front and side thus can be noisy. We had a view of the vineyard in the slopes to compensate...

Food was good. Glasses whisked off the table before being fully empty.

We only went to the restaurant, i can't really speak on the hotel portion as I have never been inside. Excellent food, the service was great and they were very polite with our poor attempts at speaking german. Possibly the best asparagus I have ever had.

5 Stars for the restaurant. Food and service here is great. The restaurant's decor is elegant but the prices reasonable. They aIso have a extensive wine selection. I had the ribeye which came with potatoes that were sweet and spicy. My wife had the daily multi course menu for 24 euros. She got pumpkin soup, salad, rumpsteak, and a parfait. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends...

Found this great restaurant that just opened recently on TripAdvisor and was more than pleasantly surprised! We liked each of the little delicacies, the price and performance are right here! In addition, you are warmly welcomed and the service is wonderful. I've eaten such good tapas for a long time (or never before). Clear recommendation! We would love to come back and look forward to our next visit...

A nice concept: The more people who love good food order a table together, the more colorful the selection can be! Everyone orders what appeals to them the most. When the delicacies made from excellent ingredients are on the table, it is tempting to try one or the other. There were four of us and it was fun to enjoy the variety of small bites.! Very personable and child-friendly staff, the location of the hotel is very good. In general, the hotel is very comfortable, our family room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fabulous, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, delicious cereal and a good selection of rolls and breads. We would book again at the country hotel at any time.

A beautiful hip and modern Hotel. Everything perfectly fine. Good beds, nice shower and a great breakfast. So don't hesitate, just book.

Good food for a affordable price

Lovely staff, very friendly. Great location, good food in the restaurant, especially breakfast. No air conditioning in rooms, so too hot in the summer months.

We had cycled from Trittenheim on the second day of 6 in the saddle, Alte Schulhaus is in an good location and a we received a friendly welcome. I was cycling and needed a shower and a place to sleep; for this purpose it was entirely ok. The staff is nice. We stayed in a separate house nearby. There was a shack for bicycles that was locked, which was great. A spaceous bathroom, which was also great. It would bebetter though if the place had AC, but you can open the windows if the air is cooler outside - the windows could use a net for insects...

The interior is nice and although the wait staff didn't speak much English, they provided great service. They've got a decent selection of wines as well. Only giving them 3 stars because the schnitzel could have been better.

The location of atles was a nice spot on a t inserction corner. There is a nice little convenient store two buildings away.
