Where to stay in Uerzig

We made a last minute booking and had a very pleasant stay. Good location and good parking facilities when travelling by car. Food was good and the staff nice and welcoming.

Wonderful hotel. Clean, friendly people, nice rooms and good food. Come and see for yourself. If you leave don't forget to take a box of their wine.

Excellent, professional service. Everything we wanted was provided pro-actively without being intrusive. Secured parking, with charging facilities, for bikes was a nice feature. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was the best during our stay in the Mosel valley. Do try the local dessert wine :-)

Nice little hotel in the immediate vicinity of the Moselle. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The rooms were clean. The head of the house and all his employees were extremely friendly. A motor boat tour offered by the house to Traben-Trarbach was a lot of fun.

We hired some bikes from the hosts (they have normal ane ebikes) and spent a day biking through the hills to some of the more remote wineries. Beautiful quaint B&B on a quiet street yet walkable to local cafes. My room was clean and nicely decorated. A nice A/C unit which was welcomed in the hot summer weather. They offer bikes you can borrow to ride into town. There is also a bike path that follows the river across the street. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is very neat and clean, the rooms are really nice. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much. The breakfast is very extensive and delicious. They even make fresh scrambled eggs for you. All in all highly recommended, everything is perfect. There is just no elevator.

Lovely staff, very friendly. Great location, good food in the restaurant, especially breakfast. No air conditioning in rooms, so too hot in the summer months.

We only went to the restaurant, i can't really speak on the hotel portion as I have never been inside. Excellent food, the service was great and they were very polite with our poor attempts at speaking german. Possibly the best asparagus I have ever had.

The building is straight from a fairytale, it dates from the 14th century. The additional building with accommodation rooms is from 1774. Just renovated with modern bathrooms. Very friendly host and interesting art on display, too. Highly recommended.

We stayed for one night to visit a local vineyard and booked directly by phone a couple of hours before arrival. The B&B is beautifully located with a nice yard, garden and cafe, walking distance to everything in town, and good parking nearby. Ms. Müller is a warm woman who made you feel like she was having fun at her work. We had a clean room with a TV and a double bed. Nice place, not fancy and yes the decor was stuck in the 80s (70s?), but the hostess was very friendly, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the price was right. We stayed here for the Bernkastel-Kues weinfest 2018, and it was a bit of a hike to BK, almost 3 miles. But it was a nice footpath along the river, so no regrets. And taxis were available...

The family hotel is great. The siblings are very nice and helpful. The view of the vineyards from the terrace is beautiful. Breakfast is delicious and served in the beautiful old restaurant. The rooms are simple but bright, clean and cosy. The water pressure in the shower is really cool. We'd love to come back :)

Probably quite good for cyclists, as the bikes can be parked in a garage. Gastronomy for years. Rooms are spacious but not modern and very noisy. TV much too small. Church 50 meters away provides half-hourly time information. Access via steep outside stairs. Staff very friendly.

For many years we have been spending a few nice days at the Weinfelderhof in autumn. Everything great! Our wire-haired dachshund Paulchen also feels very comfortable here.

This hotel is the reason I love going to Germany on my motorcycle. The first thing the owners did before I even got into my room, was to park my motorcycle under cover so it wouldn't get wet. Nice big, clean and quiet room. An idyllic garden with seating and loungers and a small fish pond invites you. The opulent breakfast, served by the friendly boss, leaves nothing to be desired. Great bright rooms, delicious food (Pickert in a completely new creation) relaxed atmosphere, great area. The owner also gives recommendations on popular places and day tours. We visited the cylinder house in Bernkastell Kues and the Bundesbank bunker in Cochem. The underground Christmas markets are worth the trip. All in all, have already made several visits here and love to come back again and again

We ate there. The location next to the gas station isn't ideal, but since you're sitting very close to the street anyway, it's not that bad. But we cannot confirm the sometimes bad comments here. The service is top notch and very friendly. The food was good for the price too.

The best of Mosel. A very nice vacation with a sweet and helpsome family, who also makes a very good wine. :-) From the appartment is 5 minutes walk to the Mosel river and 5 minutes in the other direction to the steep slope of the wineyards.

Went for a tour and dinner. Excellent tour and superb homecooked dinner. John was generous with the wine and they accommodated my vegan partner perfectly. In her words: “the best meal I’ve had all trip.” Would highly recommend this very personal experience

We didn't stay. We were planning to stop in the next city but couldn't stop us after seeing this building. Its beautiful. The walk around the river is highly recommended. With beautiful winter sun it seemed like a paradise. Ample parking. 1st hour is free and that is sufficient. We tried to explore the town but it was all closed at it was 26 dec.

The property is beautiful, and staying in the castle was a unique experience. I did feel that this wasn’t quite at the same level as other Autograph Collection hotels. The castle has a lot of history, but there isn’t much information available about it.
