This is so much more than a hotel. It's an experience in a landmark.
We had a warm welcome at the reception. And as requested we had our room at ground level.
The room was beautiful and very light and was bigger than expected. The bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom had everything you need and the shower was heavenly.
Breakfast is on the second floor and has a lovely view of the houses along the small river.
Breakfast was amazing. There is a lot to choose from and everything is fresh. The freshly baked bread is amazing.
The staff who works at the hotel are all very nice and give you the feeling of a home away from home.
As the hotel is in the old quarter it doesn't have a parking. But that's not a problem. At the end of the street is a parking garage (Fischerviertel).
As the hotel has only six rooms I advice you to book your room in advance, as it will be an experience you don't want to miss.

Great location in the Fischerviertel Ulm. 5 minutes away is also Parkhaus. The apartment is very clean, modern and comfortable. Room had also a little kitchen. They offer a delicious breakfast with a view on the cathedral.

Tourists love to photograph Ulm's 'Crooked House' so it was a special pleasure to be able to stay overnight in this unique small hotel. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast just right. Our hosts even provided an early breakfast when we had to catch an early train.
The hotel is in an excellent location only 10 minutes from Ulm's main station and in the heart of the highly characterful fishing district, and right behind the ramparts overlooking the Danube.
It doesn't have its own restaurant but there are several very good ones nearby, and more up in the city centre.

This little hotel ist wonderful. Staff is extremely friendly, it is situated in the old, romantic part of Ulm, yet close to the train station and the Münster. Breakfast is very good and rooms very cozy and comfortable. Upon request you can also have a little water kettle in your room.

What a cool place to stay in Ulm! The room and the view was stunning! The staff were very friendly as well. We arrived after they had closed for the night but they have a key drop box so you can still get in.
Breakfast was absolutely out of this world! We had a nice plate of fresh delicatessen and they made us fried eggs.
We ended up parking at the fishing village parking garage a few blocks away and walked with our luggage. Minor inconvenience but to be expected in an old town like this.

Cute hotel but chances are that they put you in on of the rooms in a separate building. Those rooms are a block away and feel like you're staying in a shop on the ground floor. Was quite disappointed because the 'Schmales Haus' itself is cute.

We just got back from a short trip to Ulm. There we wanted to stay close to the center and quiet. It has provided us with the Hotel "the narrow house" is excellent. Great room, rich and tasty Breakfast, topped with a friendly Hoteliers for the well-being of its guests. The Hotel is Old, skilfully combined with a New. In the tastefully furnished rooms you can feel at home. A come Back is planned to be used. Many thanks to Mr Heath for the reception.
