Beautiful place, close to the beach. Comfy room with terrace, delicious menue, very friendly service and the sauna area is very clean. I´ll come back.

Hotel staff was nice and friendly, and the room was absolutely spotless! Beds are comfy and breakfasts are delicious and fresh. Good place for a proper (no noise or parties) vacation! The whole place is like made for hikes and walks, so make sure to take some comfy shoes with you and discover this beautiful area :)

Breakfast was good...the coffee could have been better. The parking right by the hotel with the beach right there was great. The personal were very hospitable and flexible.

Last weekend we were finally back on site and as we had to find out, the owner has changed. I have to say that it has definitely turned out positively. We got a large room which was clean and cozy, rustic furnishings. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. There was a large selection and there was something for every taste. Everything was always quickly replenished at the buffet. Corona and hygiene rules were carefully observed. I did not stay at this hotel but visited the hotel's restaurant in October 2020, with a friend who had a two month old baby with her. The hotel is rather old, but rooms are big and spacious. The breakfast was disappointing, with a hard boiled eggs as the only hot food availible. There was no internet connection in the room, only in the lobby, which had only two chairs to sit.

Perfect location, clean rooms and amazing buffet breakfast

Two of us stayed here for two nights. We have been here before. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to enjoy the delicious breakfast this time because of the corona pandemic. That was always the highlight of the stay. Maybe we can offer breakfast for the room in the future? Doesn't have to be huge. default halt; Rolls, sausage, cheese, jam, eggs, cup of coffee and tea...?! Would be worth a thought....

Overall it was pretty good for the price. The furnishing has already seen the ravages of time, in the bathroom, for example, the sink was cracked and the heating rusted. The balcony needs to be maintained because the swallows nest there and it looks accordingly.

Super location and from the two large apartments at the Alter Strom you have a magnificent view of the harbor and the passing ships. Breakfast overall okay for a 3 star hotel and thanks to the view/location it gets 5 stars.

Decent stay Great room with basic cooking facilities in a great location with sipermarkets and olaces to eat. The only issue was the wifi didnt work meaning i had to use my data.

It is a hotel where most of the guests are construction workers and are primarily accommodation for migrants and asylum seekers. I don't need to write more. I had a room with a small kitchenette, the pan had definitely never been cleaned from underneath, a small coffee machine that should be replaced, everything is no longer OK. Nice hotel in a pretty quiet area of Rostock. In summer when room windows might have to be opened, some traffic noise can be heard in street facing rooms. But nothing near busy traffic so rest assured.

I slept in one if their double Rooms. The bedroom is equipped with a TV, a large Wardrobe, a workdesk, and it has a nightlight on Each side. The room also came with free WiFi. The bathroom comes with a blow dryer! Of course you get clean towels and soap. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean on arrival. This is not real 3star hotel, I guess . Lady on reception does not speak english, wifi was locked and did not find password....but it is quite for 1night stay, rooms are big , equipped by fridge.there is elevator for higher floors also. Parking place is big and free. Nearby is big shopping centre and only 15min drive to ferry. Reception is open 24h each day and they always answer on each message.

Have stayed here several times. The staff is always very friendly, the rooms are always clean and the environment is nice and quiet and relaxing. In about 7-10 minutes walk you are on the beach and 1 minute walk is a good Italian. We always like to take our short vacation here.👍🏻🌊 The in-house bike rental is also recommended

Wellness Area in the 4. floor with view over the Baltic sea. short distances to center , beach , and shopping area.. I was given a room at the back of the building, at the end of the hallway, where there were Wi-Fi problems. They were able to help me with the Wi-Fi issue. No water dispenser in the wellness area.

It's a bit of an old hotel. There's no air conditioning and the bathroom ventilation is broken. However, it's located right in front of the beach and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast buffet doesn't have many menus... but the staff are very friendly!!!

Wonderful stay. Seriously can’t wait to go back next summer. We checked in with two dogs and they had food and water bowls waiting for us along with little treat baggies! It was so nice to stay somewhere so dog friendly. The rooms are very nice and cared for, the beds are SO COMFORTABLE. I slept so well. The size and furnishings of our comfort room left nothing to be desired. Breakfast is always a highlight and in the evenings there is something for everyone on the small but fine menu. Even and especially in winter, exploring the surrounding area from the hotel with walks on the beach and in the woods was an experience. The hotel's restaurant and bar were appealing, but the quality of the beds could be improved.

We are staying at the Godewind again and as always we are very satisfied. The service is great, the breakfast buffet is very appealing and delicious. All in all a very nice, relaxing holiday.

Typical 4 star hotel. Great importance is attached to hygiene. Everything was very clean and the food was very sufficient and tasty. The bar also fulfills every wish (also special requests ;-)) Family-run, which you can tell from the perfect service. It is not far to the beach and the Netto supermarket is also nearby. In the hotel you can also eat great burgers, which are advertised all over the place...

Getting old, but the staff was very friendly, communicative, helpful. Breakfast buffet completely adequate. The restaurant is very tasty, if you don't like the hustle and bustle of the river and want to enjoy the best food in a quiet atmosphere, this is the place for you. It takes a while, but when you see the fresh vegetables on the plate, you're happy to wait.

The location is great. The room is very clean and nice. Our room was on the ground floor and the window was facing the parking lot so it was not the most romantic view. The breakfast was good but not alot of options for vegiterian/vegan. The staff is very nice and speak English

Das Hotel liegt wirklich direkt an der Ostsee. Nach Warnemünde geht man eine halbe Stunde am Strand spazieren oder einen zauberhaften Waldweg entlang. Die Betten in diesem Hotel sind herausragend bequem und das Restaurant exzellent. Wir kommen wieder.
