The double rooms are 1 floor below and you will not get any sea view and the Wi-Fi in the room was pathetic as the reception was too bad in the bed room and you have to be at the door to get the WiFi. The breakfast can be said OK and didn’t have much on its menu. Overall the price was too high when compared for the facility and food they provide.

Our stay at the Dünenhotel in September was great. The food and the room are great, but you can't beat the location right on the dune. Warnemünde is definitely worth a trip. You can get there quickly by bus or on foot. I can only say Markgrafenheide is already on our vacation planning for 2022.

We spontaneously went to the Baltic Sea, to the Dünenhotel, for just under a week and were very enthusiastic. The location, directly behind the dune, the clean hotel and the courteous, friendly staff, who, despite the Corona-related restrictions, go out of their way to meet all the guests' wishes for breakfast. Some of the dishes are freshly prepared for each guest. Thanks very much.

Everything was great, excellent service at breakfast. We didn't miss anything. All the employees in the house were courteous and friendly. Despite Corona requirements, we were able to recover and say thank you very much.

the location is superb. Just in the middle of the happenings, but no cars noise around. and there is a bar that opens till late in the might, very cosy if you just want to have a drink or two before bed, and the young bartender will tend your requirement, or offer an alternative if he doesn’t have your fave drinks.

The only disadvantage is the parking garage which is very crowded and difficult to manoeuvre the car. Would recommend to park outside on a public parking lot in the vicinity.

Nice little hotel. Top service, friendly, helpful and courteous. Good transport links in all directions. Breakfast is very good, something for everyone. 100% positive rating. The mattresses should be improved. We stayed here for 3 nights and felt very comfortable. Afterwards we were in the best holiday mood and went on the Aidamar towards Denmark-Norway-Sweden. Perfect for a short stay. The beach can be reached in 5 minutes and the bus stop (to get to Warnemünde) is right in front of the door. Small and very clean hotel, with very friendly staff. Unfortunately there is no elevator. The rooms are functional and modern, some flaws in terms of the bed... In warm weather too thick blankets drawn in, the bed frame for small people not cheap. We were scheduled to stay one night because we were scheduled to board the Norwegian Breakaway cruise ship on September 24 ,2018 at the Warnemunde port. Das Hotel liegt wirklich direkt an der Ostsee. Nach Warnemünde geht man eine halbe Stunde am Strand spazieren oder einen zauberhaften Waldweg entlang. Die Betten in diesem Hotel sind herausragend bequem und das Restaurant exzellent. Wir kommen wieder.

We have repeatedly spent three nights with our sailing team in the "Hotel am Fischereihafen" and have been very kindly received and looked after. The rooms are cozy and clean. Nice hotel in a pretty quiet area of Rostock. In summer when room windows might have to be opened, some traffic noise can be heard in street facing rooms. But nothing near busy traffic so rest assured.

I slept in one if their double Rooms. The bedroom is equipped with a TV, a large Wardrobe, a workdesk, and it has a nightlight on Each side. The room also came with free WiFi. This is not real 3star hotel, I guess . Lady on reception does not speak english, wifi was locked and did not find password....but it is quite for 1night stay, rooms are big , equipped by fridge.there is elevator for higher floors also. Parking place is big and free. Nearby is big shopping centre and only 15min drive to ferry. Reception is open 24h each day and they always answer on each message.

Top location near the harbour, botanical garden, sbahn to warnemünde and not far from the city centre. The staff was lovely. The room was spacious. However the bathroom could have been cleaner and the shower was clogged up.

We stayed at Arthotel ANA Amber 6 days. We really liked the hotel and the location - closed to city center, port, S-bahn and Neptun shopping centre. Staff was friendly and helpfull. The hotel has a limited number of parking spaces below or you can try to find free parking in the streets nearby (just be careful in the Neptun shopping centre - 2-hour parking limit). For somebody who’s travelled a fair bit, I’d confidently say this is one of the better hotels I’ve stayed in. We booked at 11pm and arrived within 10 minutes. Receptionists we’re very warm welcoming. I didn’t give 5 Stars because the mattress was very hard and the bedding was made of cheap plastic like material. A lovely stay, we visited for one night. We arrived at midday and were delighted the room was ready early. Really high cleaning standards throughout. The staff all really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A location that's handy for all the main attractions, and yet we didn't get disturbed by noise as we slept. There is no refrigerator inside the room, No closet, no kettle, no coffee machine. Very slow speed for check in process. Even in the lobby, you have to pay for coffee machine. I should add this positive point that our room is very clean.

I haven’t been to their hotel but their bar is lovely. Great staff and their location is amazing. Probably the best view in Rostock! They serve mostly cocktails (they do have beer and wine but their beer selection is somewhat mediocre).

The hotel has very friendly staff. It is also in a good location in Warnemünde. The rooms are practically furnished. Above all, clean and tidy. I always feel very comfortable here. Almost like a second home. The breakfast is always very satisfactory. I am happy to be a guest here, even if it didn't work out again this year because of the strike at the railways.

This is a very nice and convenient hotel located directly at the beach. It’s great for runners (nearby woods and trails), tanners, and of course swimmers. There’s even a nudist beach nearby. The rooms are very modern though the could have more hangers for bath robes and towels. In the suites they have shower and a bath tub, however, It would be even more convenient to have a second toilet instead....

Getting old, but the staff was very friendly, communicative, helpful. Breakfast buffet completely adequate. The restaurant is very tasty, if you don't like the hustle and bustle of the river and want to enjoy the best food in a quiet atmosphere, this is the place for you. It takes a while, but when you see the fresh vegetables on the plate, you're happy to wait.
