Very friendly and approachable staff and the spotless facility.

The stay was OK, but nothing extraordinary. Room was spacious enough, but there was no minibar or a fridge, no lockable safe, so it was pretty much a basic hotel room. Most of the facilities may be locked down because of Coronavirus, so I'm assuming hotel will get better reviews after the pandemic is over. On the positive side, I think it was worth the money (nothing fancy but nothing too expensive...

Large room for a German Hotel in a small town. The staff speaks English which makes room reservations very easy. They also have bar, restaurant a great breakfast for a good price.

I've stayed there many times for business over the years and never had a problem. The staff is always professional and the breakfast is great. The rooms are big and spacious, like Americans are used to. Parking in the underground garage makes it super convenient to come and go. You are only a short 10minute walk from the town square. Bikers - secure underground parking. We stayed here after getting thoroughly soaked and decided to dry out inc tent in car park. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Nearby town, historic and well worth the short walk. Breakfast continental and plenty. Was an excellent choice

This hotel is very well maintained. It is located on the walking street with plenty of shopping and dining options. Large rooms. Very good breakfast. Friendly helpful pleasant staff. Easy after hours check-in. Stayed here several times over the years and is a personal favorite.

Possibly the BEST place to stay in Wieden. Restaurant attached serves some of the Best Authentic Germany dishes. I'm told they have the Best locally brewed beer in Wieden (I don't drink beer). Worth every star!!!!!

Very very clean and nice hotel. There is no reception, so you have to take your key with you, but very nice and friendly staff. Room was cold, bad insulation at the windows.

Beer and food are amazing. I ate the rum steak with butter and it is wonderful. The bacon chicken pan is out of control good...the schnitzel is top notch. They even make fresh kettle potato chips with a phenomenal dipping sauce.

For the price you can't complain. A more traditional Bavarian hotel. Friendly staff, older but tidy rooms. The main let downs, the pillows are really poor quality. And there is no parking so I had to park in another street away from the hotel which was not convenient. Over all though, a good stay

Nice hotel, especially for the cost. Bathroom was very up to date and cleaned. The room was of good size, considering it is an old building. Furniture was updated and in good repair. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel bar is great. Only drawback was the mattress, very thin and not very comfortable.

OK for one night, but crosses in every room?? I know that Bavaria is a catholic place, but this is offensove to me as a non-believer. Rooms are big, but out-of-date. Beds are shaky, a lot of traces that last renovation was a long time ago.

We stayed at the Hanauer Hof for a week with our 2-year-old daughter in August. Ms. Hanauer is very welcoming and it was a wonderful stay. There is something for children of all ages and the little one is still raving about it. Come again.

Extremely warm welcome at reception with full information given about breakfast times, wifi, etc. The staff just couldn't do enough for the guests, from reception to service to housekeeping. Hotel Brunner is perfectly located in the old city center of Amberg, just 5-10 walking minutes away from many shops, restaurants and cafes. Nevertheless, it is a quiet location. We only stayed for one night so not a true impression of the Hotel. Our room had a bed surrounded with steel bars and steep steps up to the bed. I know its an old prison but for someone with mobility issues you are going to have a problem. The town is a nice place to visit for one night. The hotel has no parking of its own but there is a car park very close by.

The rooms are not big, but giant. This is by far the hotel that remained in my heart as the most pleasant memory. Would come here anytime I had the chance. Absolutely wonderful...from friendly people in the reception who are so helpful and able to give you advice about beautiful places around, breakfast which is awesome, plenty of fresh fruit, cheese, eggs, salami, yoghurt and a lot of other things. Lovely family run pension. They provided information about the pension and area before our arrival, which was great. Fair priced and very nice breakfast. Also, they were kind enough to provide us with a kettle, so we were able to prepare formula for our little one without any hassle. Great cost/benefit for a beautiful area.

This is a great base for visitors to the Bayreuth Festival (why we come every year). Simple, confortable and very cheap. Also great for it's call and the many many great walks all around the forest and small mountains.
