I have been staying here for the last 2 days and will stay here for some more days... Nice hotel... You get a homely feel the moment you are in.. Very friendly staff... Extremely helpful.. I was there for a walk actually, just and Pokemon Go play, but the atmosphere there was great, the lake is really nice and everything looked sejr maintained

The breakfast buffet was very good. Great selection of sausage, cheese and juice from the region. It is constantly refilled. You can sit comfortably outside and have a great view. Everything clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly. Lovely again. Reservation is necessary.

How were we guests over the Easter weekend and felt very comfortable. Our family room was nice and big. The whole hotel is very clean and the entire team is very personable and friendly. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and delicious. We can confidently recommend the Berghof.

Good, very clean hotel, very quiet location, a bit above the town. The rooms, including the wet cell, are spacious and well equipped. Mini bar is available. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. When I'll be around I am happy to be a guest here again.

Great hotel! Very warm hosts who try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We even had the sauna for private use! The host even cleaned it completely beforehand! Insanity! The breakfast for just €8 was awesome! Everything was really there and everything was always there until the end! We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back!

It's very clean and the staff is really friendly. My room had a bath tub with was wonderful. As the other guests mentioned the rooms may be lacking some comfort in a sense that I didn't feel as warm and homely as I like to in a hotel. However the rooms are spacious and provide every necessity. Please add some vegan options to the breakfast menu though.

All in all the accommodation was nice and tidy, the breakfast was very good, but the receptionist made a terrible first impression (to the extent I almost left the place immediately). Our room was on the third floor, there is no elevator which was no problem for us, but worth mentioning in case someone arrives with a big luggage. I liked the atmosphere of the place. Location was great near the motorway, parking space available..... But no soap in the shower and Air conditioning system is not working properly in the room. To hot in summer time. No warm breakfast choice just only cold breakfast. Not good for disabled people because no lift elevator in hotel... Overall its ok for one night stay in this price.

What a great overnight stay we had, for an amazing price. It was super clean, very comfortable and the staff went beyond. We brought our dog and one of the lovely booking staff emailed to tell us about a small dog park nearby. Nice touch. Parking was a breeze.

Nice place for a hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. Unluckily no parking places reserved for the hotel. No breakfasts and no People on the reception in the morning without any message of warning. Bed broke down when sitting on it, was clearly damaged previously and not properly repaired.

the hotel is very nice .roms are fantastic. but there is nobody in the reception to answer questions. we had to ask a waiter who spoke english.he was very helpful. after all a very nice hotel we had good nigt sleep there. ( very quiet)

This is a lovely hotel! You can tell the owners take pride in it and are dedicated to provide a clean and beautiful space. The breakfast is amazing too. We hardly speak German and the owners speak some English. Despite this barrier, we communicated just fine and had pleasant exchanges. I am very glad we chose this hotel for our night in Mannheim.

The food and drinks were good. The Buffet for the planned guests are sufficiently diverse. Alone, the operation seemed to be overwhelmed. Also the language skills seemed to be missing to put all of the orders. With more and better trained staff about safe perfect.

Value for money. Nice location, near bars/restaurants/breakfast locations. We were there on a hot day and the air conditioning system appeared to be poor.

A truly splendid stay with wonderful staff. Our dinner was fantastic and breakfast each morning truly memorable. My only small criticism is having paper napkins at breakfast time. This feast deserves better.

You would never know in the bucolic, tree covered property that a walk down the street one block bringings you to the old bridge over the Neckar and easy stroll over to the old town. We loved Die Hirschgasse in Heidelberg. The suites were spacious and full of old world charm. As we walked in I saw and bought a book written by Mark Twain about his travels through Heidelberg and his experience at Die Hirschgasse. We will stay there again.

This is a lovely hotel in a fantastic location, however there is a 'but' ! The owner / chef (I think) is quite rude and unhelpful, but the rest of the staff were very pleasant. If he is the chef, he should stay in the kitchen, because despite his poor social skills, he can cook. The food is very good. This hotel is a hidden gem located at the old bridge and gate. Great location making it easy to walk both sides of the river and access to the castle and all the charm of old tiwn Heidelberg. At night cross the bridge to the right to get stunning pictures of the bridge, city, and castle lite up.

The location is excellent, but the room is a bit old, the facilities are OK, and it faces the street. The soundproofing is not very good, but I go to bed and get up early, so it doesn't affect me much. The price is also a bit high, and there are not many types of breakfast.

This hotel is perfectly located for tourists. It's right in the tourist area, with the Old Bridge visible to the right and the church to the left. The street just outside the entrance is bustling with food and souvenirs, and is usually bustling with people. This can be a little inconvenient for drivers, as they often can't get in, requiring you to leave your luggage at the intersection before bringing...

Super centrally located hotel with a beautiful, large, well-equipped holiday apartment. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet in the hotel and really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is only one stop by tram from the main railway station. Hotel staffs are very nice and helpful. Just that the hardware are quite old, you can tell from the carpet, wallpaper and the hardware especially the bathroom style is unbearable with this price. Strongly recommend a renovation to keep up with the brand name.

My family was stuck in the elevator and pressed the help button to no avail. The elevator was bouncing and feeling dangerous. When the doors finally opened I went to the front desk to inform them of what happened. Employee Maren made me feel like she didn't care by telling me that if she is working at the desk she cannot hear the request for help and then she went on to tell me that we were too many...

Great hotel in old town Heidelberg. Missed AC which was needed lying on the top floor in the house. So yes, it was a bit too warm right now. Cool naming (our room was not a number but “Paris”). Friendly staff and decent prices.

Cute, quirky hotel with unique rooms and a good restaurant but most importantly: excellent staff. The welcome was exceptionally warm and forthcoming, and our requests during the stay were met with kindness and understanding, and quickly realised. Having stayed here for a whole week, it was easy to feel homely in "Dehli". Is the room slightly outdated? Maybe. But I prefer comfort and kindness...

Quaint, older hotel right in the heart of the cathedral square. Great service. Room had a lot of space. Clean and comfortable. Solid breakfast included. No air conditioning, but a big fan and all of the windows opened to allow a lot of cool air. Some street noise later into the summer nights, which I liked. No lift. Had to port luggage up stairs. No PSD ports, so just use an adapter.

Every thing is worth the price except the noise of the outside, the group of the youth chated in a loud noise until the midnight. It could be occasionally happened.

This hotel was perfectly located between the castle and the bridge, on the Marktplatz. The staff was wonderful, helping us to find the parking garages and restaurants. We would stay there again. Beautiful city!

Nice hotel with beautiful restaurant, clean bathrooms and nice staff. Room is coming with cold breakfast, quite ok wifi (if you know, where to connect) and regular 6 o'clock street sweeper's drive-throughs under the window. Work trip stay is worth it due to great location in the old town though.

We had a really great time here! The staff is super helpful and friendly. Breakfast is delicious. Our room was sufficiently big and cozy. During the evenings, the street performers outside would play their instruments, and we could hear the beautiful music in our room, which was magical. There's no elevator though, so try to reduce the luggage.

Reception is up a huge staircase. No porters, no elevators. Hope you don't have much luggage! Rooms are then up more stairs. No air-conditioner in the room, not even a fan, very hot on this late spring day, would hate to stay here in summer. "On site parking" is a public parking garage a block away. Clean and tidy though. Towels are bright yellow. Staff were nice.
