Room / price is fair.some rooms are renovated and nice, others rather old. As I tend not to spend too much time in my room I do not care much about it. I need a bed and a shower, that I had :-) The beds though are not comfortable much. Food, serivce and cleanliness is very good. I did not try out the sauna etc. Overall I would still recommend it because the price is very fair and all but the beds...

Lovely place, extremely helpful staff. The locals are also nice. I recommend this for lovely time with family, even if you have kids, you can reach entertaining places easily by car

A very nice hotel, but rather expensive. The steep room rate is to some extent countered by the quiet surroundings and the excellent food. The room wasn't large, the TV didn't work. Had it worked we wouldn't have enjoyed it, it's tiny. The bed was way too soft. The staff were very friendly.

We stayed there with the whole family for a few days. The hotel is in a great location. Quiet location with a beautiful view. Free parking spaces are available in front of the house. The rooms were clean and big enough. The only downside was the division. We had a connecting family room and had to go through the daughter's room to get to the bathroom. The breakfast was good and the attached restaurant...

We held our family celebration here. The food was praised by the guests, the service was very attentive and always present. The premises are attractive and well-kept. Clear recommendation to celebrate or stop in the hotel/restaurant.

Yes, the restaurant has remained standing somewhere decades ago - but that's exactly what makes it so appealing !! The taste of the dishes offered is very good - nostalgic, of high quality, prepared with love like "from the past". I think it's great. Thanks for that !

Been there a couple of times for lunch during MTB trips, very friendly staff

Definitely worth a visit. Especially when wanting to visit the Harz. The hotel rooms are great. That is in terms of size and looks. They offer a good high resolution Flatscreen and a big kitchen. There are also 2 bedrooms, each having 2 separate beds. A free breakfast is included and if you feel like it it's possible to eat dinner there as well; on your own expense. The rooms are clean and everyday...

Discovered today by chance on the Harz bike tour. Great terrace with a view of the Innerste dam. A very friendly Dutch owner couple and just as nice, friendly service. Is highly recommended for a visit.

I was here in september for a motor tour. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, but the routes were! The Dutch owner who bought the place a year ago and the Italian chef are friendly and loves to hang out for a chat in the late hours. Tip: if you like a surprise or can't choose, then ask the chef to make you a surprise meal. I asked for a pasta, saying no more or less than that. His reply: "Say no...

Nice little hotel right on the reservoir. Very nicely located and quiet, away from the main road. We were only there for a little rest. After an absolutely delicious ice cream, we asked if we could also order food as non-hotel guests. No problem, tasty and nicely presented. Eat very good and casual food! One is well satiated. LITTLE TIP: sit in front of the ceiling, you will be spotted faster!

The service is very warm and careful. Top. The food was very good, the quality is consistently good, with every visit so far. The ambience is a bit old-fashioned due to the spatial restrictions, but this does not lead to any devaluation. All in all: People always like to eat and hang out here.
