Room / price is fair.some rooms are renovated and nice, others rather old. As I tend not to spend too much time in my room I do not care much about it. I need a bed and a shower, that I had :-) The beds though are not comfortable much. Food, serivce and cleanliness is very good. A very nice hotel, but rather expensive. The steep room rate is to some extent countered by the quiet surroundings and the excellent food. The room wasn't large, the TV didn't work. Had it worked we wouldn't have enjoyed it, it's tiny. The bed was way too soft. The staff were very friendly.

Definitely worth a visit. Especially when wanting to visit the Harz. The hotel rooms are great. That is in terms of size and looks. They offer a good high resolution Flatscreen and a big kitchen. I was here in september for a motor tour. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, but the routes were! The Dutch owner who bought the place a year ago and the Italian chef are friendly and loves to hang out for a chat in the late hours. Eat very good and casual food! One is well satiated. LITTLE TIP: sit in front of the ceiling, you will be spotted faster!

The service is very warm and careful. Top. The food was very good, the quality is consistently good, with every visit so far. The ambience is a bit old-fashioned due to the spatial restrictions, but this does not lead to any devaluation. All in all: People always like to eat and hang out here.

Spent a week there with the whole family, and was won over on the first day. Friendly family atmosphere throughout the hotel, quiet location and spacious, cozy rooms. A huge plus point was the large wellness area with pool and two saunas, which with its relaxation room is perfect for relaxing after hiking. You rarely feel so comfortable and homely in hotels, soon in a new one!

The fact that the swimming pool can only be used by families and at a time chosen by the guest is no cause for criticism for me. Every hotel needs a hygiene concept and this has been solved well. We had a really great weekend here. The room is very well equipped, the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was well presented and the selection is very good. Particularly noteworthy is the nice staff. We would love to come back.

Very nice hotel right on the edge of the forest in a quiet location. We had a great room with a view of the Bocksberg. The nice employee at the reception and in the breakfast room fulfilled all wishes. The breakfast buffet was also great. Unfortunately the weather didn't play along, but we will definitely come back again.

We are totally satisfied. Had a junior suite. In the evenings in particular, we really enjoyed the couches. From the balcony we could see the Bocksberg. Breakfast is solid, rolls, eggs and everything you like. We'd love to come back.

Very nice apartment with plenty of space and beautiful views. In our apartment it was very clean and tidy but the high light was definitely the conservatory. The breakfast was delicious and there was something for everyone. Only to be recommended.

Absolutely wonderful property, very close to the local attractions.

We stayed at the Paul-Lincke Residenz for a weekend with our children in January. The two holiday apartments were well equipped, the booking and the handover of the apartment went smoothly, minor problems were solved immediately. The whole house is lovingly furnished and the references to Paul Lincke were exciting for our children. We had a great holiday and can fully recommend the accommodation.

Were there in October last year and now in June. As always, it was very nice and quiet. Unfortunately, the room we had now wasn't in as good a condition as it was last year. Unfortunately, there were small flaws such as, for example, the door handle wasn't tight, the sink tap wasn't really tight, the drawers in the bathroom were loose, the toilet kept flushing, you always had to bang on it to stop...

Lovingly run pub. Always open on Fridays. The draft beer tastes good and the homemade liqueurs and schnapps are delicious. You always meet nice people there.

Nice German hotel in the Harz. Breakfast OK considering the price. Excellent cocktail bar, but they only accepted cash. The surroundings are fantastic - try the liebebanksweg - about a 7 km walk/climb. Room in old fashioned German stile with sofa group in room for entertainment.

A very nice hotel in the mountains. The view from the hotel is beautiful as it looks directly onto the two lakes in the town. Inside the hotel the interior is full of beautifully carved wood. The rooms are nice and well furnished. Additionally, there is both a small swimming pool and two saunas (1 Turkish, 1 Finnish). The hotel is kind of old and the included food was not great. Breakfast buffet better than the dinner. Only internet in the lobby and nearly no data service on my phone - not the hotel's fault, but the combination leaves you nearly cut off from the outside world. At least that's how it felt for someone like me who's usually always connected somehow. Maybe some people would enjoy that 😊 Bike parking...

I found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. I really liked the breakfast, but unfortunately the warm dishes (scrambled eggs, pancakes) were quite cold. The hotel is in a great location and there are plenty of parking spaces. The children's playroom is unfortunately pretty bleak. A room without windows. My wife and I have visited this hotel twice in 7 years and we were very satisfied each time 😁. The service is good, the food is delicious and includes a good selection (half board). The rooms are nicely furnished, the beds are good - everything you need for a (short) vacation. Only the Harz itself has significantly fewer trees 🌲😕. Recommendation 👍👍

You could spend the whole day there, e.g. ride the cable car, summer toboggan run...

At first glance our room looked quite good and comfortable. But up close you could see that everything was a bit dusty and worn. (Like the entire place.) We stayed here with 2 families for 3 days at the turn of the year and found it totally fine. Mr. Hirschmann gave the children an extra room opposite ours, so that we adults could spend time together in the evening and still keep an eye on the children. Breakfast is small but sufficient.
