A very nice hotel, but rather expensive. The steep room rate is to some extent countered by the quiet surroundings and the excellent food. The room wasn't large, the TV didn't work. Had it worked we wouldn't have enjoyed it, it's tiny. The bed was way too soft. The staff were very friendly.

Spent a week there with the whole family, and was won over on the first day. Friendly family atmosphere throughout the hotel, quiet location and spacious, cozy rooms. A huge plus point was the large wellness area with pool and two saunas, which with its relaxation room is perfect for relaxing after hiking. There was a wedding ceremony at the hotel, so we stayed at the hotel apartment. Well, all I can say is that the apartment was amazing. All the homely essentials and well located right in the heart of the town centre next to the market platz and the train station is only 5 minutes away.
