Nice family hotel. Not special in any way but also no complaints. Has everything you need but no extras.

Ok Seems like a nice hotel with good spa facilities. We had a non smoking room, but it stank of cigarettes and the bathroom smelt unclean. The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. Didn’t complain about the smell in the room as unable to make ourselves understood.

Nice pool and sauna area, great to relax after a long day traveling. Everyone made me feel welcome, just perfect.

Went here with my group a while ago. Top accommodation for good money. As soon as we have a construction site in the area again, we'll be back. You can also shop late in the evening in the farm's own shop...sausage, bread, schnapps and much more from the farm.

Very beautiful place to be. Great value for the money. The homemade breakfast it's really good. The owners are very nice persons, tho only the daughter understand good English. The only downside for us was the fact that we had to buy our own barbeque tools only for a day, as they are not providing them. However, we enjoyed it very much. May actually go back again sometime.

I was a guest for two nights and felt very comfortable. I felt very warmly welcomed and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The prices were appropriate.

During a multi-day bike tour through the Kinzig Valley from Alpirsbach to Offenburg, I spent one night at the Hotel Sonne in Zell am Harmersbach. Very friendly and helpful reception. Large, well-furnished room with a large balcony. The dinner on the terrace was excellent. The staff competent and friendly. I can highly recommend the sun.

Landhotel zum Pflug is a traditional hotel with a modern interior which is ideally situated for exploring the nearby Black Forest and the surrounding area. The rooms are comfortable with modern bathrooms. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and the service is very friendly and, at the same time, very professional. There is free private parking outside the hotel.

We turned up at 5:00pm on a motorcycle and booked a room unannounced. Lovely room, lovely family hotel, great evening meal and breakfast. Highly recommend. The rooms are new and very clean with lovely fixtures and fittings. Lift, minibar in the hall, kettle and coffee in the hall.

I rarely give a 5 to anyone. What you see presented in their website is EXACTLY what you get. Typical Alt-Deutsche design but modernized with great taste. Cuisine is wonderfully presented with friendly service. Very comfortable. You get what you pay for here. Very good value for your €uro. I've been here many times and they consistently render the highest service, quality and cleanliness.

Rosi is incredibly sweet and helpful. She has been hosting guests at “Haus Rose” for almost 60 years. Her husband Alfred is a well known carpenter and beekeeper in the region. However, our experience was negatively impacted by the condition of the bed prepared for my young child — it had a strong odor of urine. We had to request a replacement cot, which wasn’t brought up until 9:30 PM. Additionally, housekeeping did not service our room on the first day, and the soiled mattress and bedding...

Check out complicated The superior room was spacious, featured a balcony, and was nicely decorated. Breakfast was adequate. The check-in process was pleasant and welcoming. However, check-out was quite complicated, as the receptionist attempted to charge me for the night, even though it had already been paid for at the time of booking.

Gengenbach is a lovely small town only eight minutes on the train from Offenburg. Reichsstadt Hotel and Restaurant is in the middle of town and only a short walk from the station. Great location in the centre of Gengenbach. Nice to find a pool and spa facilities in town hotel. The apartment was small but well-equipped. One drawback was the lack of air conditioning which meant opening the windows onto a noisy bar. We did not receive our welcome drinks. Spent five nights here in Sept during a road trip from Scotland to Germany (Mosel valley, Black Forest, Rhine valley). This was a conveniently located medium-budget hotel, a short distance from the beautiful centre of Gengenbach. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I enjoyed my stay there. The room decor could do with a refresh and the shower was a bit leaky, but apart from that, it fulfilled its purpose really well. Great Spot This was a great spot to stay in Gengenbach. Just outside the city wall and walkable to everything. Love it. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Nice facility, lovely and help full host and breakfast staff. I would have given this an overall rating of 5, but suite 22 is right above reception and was noisy with checkin and checkout times. Regardless I would recommend this place to friends and family.

This place was at first glance fairly in the vicinity of the motorway. Upon closer inspection, it was still a half an hour by completely unlit forest roads to ride. Since we are on passage were from Italy and in Switzerland many had been delayed, on the road, the call that we were in. Because the reception is close to (small family hotel), the owner solved this by setting the keys on the courtyard...

Ok but nothing special. We paid for a basic room, which was £85 for one night in March, the most expensive of our stay in Germany so far. The hotel is rather dated and the room facilities were limited, there was no tea and coffee. The staff were lovely. If you can afford elsewhere I'd suggest going elsewhere.

On a business trip to Germany, I am recommended the Hotel Adler where I arrive late at night. Charming welcome, the receptionist struggles to ask the restaurant to give me room service despite the late hour. Large, cosy, quiet room + the best possible room service. Very reasonable prices. Best choice for a perfect meal! You can choose a delicious Italian specialty like Saltimboca a la romana or a good meat meal. For a healthier choice you have also fish and salads. And for those who would like something fast , but so delicious- they can choose pizzas and pastas. The service is fast and very friendly! If you have kids, you can find a nice park nearby, where the little ones can play!

The three of us came completely wet and dirty from a mountain bike tour. We would still be offered a place independently. The hostess? showed us a room where we could change. During our meal, which was very tasty, our things were briefly washed and dried. SUPER SERVICE. Here, hospitality and service is not just a job but a calling. We'll come back when we're nearby.

Very nice stay at Gasthof Hecht, warm welcome, nice bedroom and very good breakfast. The only thing is that the English version of the website shows an incorrect price of €38 per person and it is actually €44-48. I hope this will be corrected quickly since a 20% price difference to what is advertised is not a pleasant surprise.

Great starting point for hikes on beautiful premium hiking trails directly from the hotel. Use of the sauna and indoor pool is uncomplicated after consultation. Great for an overnight stay, but don't expect too much from the indoor pool. You have to register in advance for the sauna to be heated up and it costs extra. Rooms are large, clean and have a beautiful view. Unfortunately there is only breakfast (additional cost) They were all very friendly 👍🏻

Very beautiful scenery, amazing atmosphere. It’s very quiet during the night. Rooms were big and comfortable. However, the windows and balcony did not haveThe iron fence for the bugs ( dunno what’s it called) so we had A bit of an incident with bugs.

I am not a biker and this place is fantastic for bikers, but don't let that put you off if you are a non biker as we're talking responsible bikers. Food is good, drinks are reasonably priced and in my short visit the staff were friendly and toilets spotless.

Beautiful family-run farm with animals kept in a manner appropriate to their species. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming to us. The children never get bored. We came home yesterday and spent a wonderful 8 days in the castle courtyard. Our children (6 and 2) and we were absolutely thrilled, we found the cowshed particularly great :) Real farming to touch and great offers for the children. The area also offers a lot, so that you are always busy :)

Wir wurden dennoch sehr zuvorkommend bedient und haben 3 unterschiedliche Gerichte genossen. Alles wurde nahezu gleichzeitig serviert. Die Gerichte waren hervorragend. Absolut zu empfehlen.

The staff is made of hearted people who really cares about the guests. A familial atmosphere float in this beautiful space. The rooms and private areas are lovely and well served.

I was from the 25. until 27.09.2015 in at the Hotel leases. This Hotel is very cozy. The beds and mattresses are very good. The Hotel is quiet and yet close to the city of Offenburg. Numerous Excursion Possibilities. Hiking in the vineyards, etc. The Breakfast was prepared with much love. There were no wishes left. Very friendly Service. Willing to help answered all questions. My wife and I were with the very good flavorful food, very satisfied. The price-performance ratio matched. The whole Team of the hotel Traube is very nice, and accommodating. This Hotel we can recommend with a clear Conscience.

Delightful stay - worth the slightly higher cost Extremely friendly staff. Excellent breakfast (highly recommend taking it with your room reservation). The room was simple but very comfortable. The food served in the restaurant was absolutely brilliant however! Can't really recommend the steak enough as it was delicious! If you're heading to this part of Germany then it's definitely recommended!

Hotel of arrogance - we carry the nose on the forehead. So the Motto could be. Rooms are nice and clean, the Buffet is rather meager. Operation and Service somewhat aloof.

The hotel is really nice. The restaurant is excellent and the prices are ok. The spaguetti with salmon is really good. The outside side area for the restaurant is calm and you can enjoy your food. The hotel doesn't have an elevator.

A very nice hotel situated near the Autobahn 5. We had a nice clean room, staff was friendly and dinner and breakfast were good. We booked a cheaper room at the front of the hotel which is near the road, and we slept well with the windows open. With the double windows closed you couldn't even hear the traffic.

The place is much better than photos! We got a new room, it was clean and modern. Good breakfast, excellent service.

We stayed here during our travel too Europa-Park. The staff was really kind and had a good attitude. Here by was the food also delicious. When we got to our room it was super clean, and there were some helpfull supplies. The checkout and check in was super easy and all by all it was a super pleasant stay.

The food is delicious! The mattresses weren't to soft nor to hard. The room itself was clean which is very important to me.

A little loud on the street side. But otherwise the rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is included.
