In overall our quick journey was delightful. We felt that people of the hotel was very implied and always made sure everything was convenient for us. Infrastructures are great and the restaurant was on point with our expectations. We definitely recommend it.

A glass of fizz and nibbles on check in is always a good start. Comfortable room with great view over rooftops. Good selection of food at breakfast and an amazing sauna complex which is highly recommended. Very friendly service.

We had an incredible time staying here. The family who runs it welcome you like family. Our meals in the garden were beautiful - truly some of the best food we have had since living in Germany. Breakfast was gorgeous, and they provided us with bikes to explore the valley. The town is a hidden treasure, great jumping off point for hiking, biking, and wine exploring. Highly recommend.

A very cozy and comfortable place. Everything is very clean and tidy. The rooms have everything you need. Lived there when I was on a business trip. I was very pleased.

We have been coming back for many years and will continue to do so. Great location, great staff, close to the old part of the town. Love the walks and the Weinachtsmarkt.

Good hotel with swimming pool and sauna. Good breakfasts. My room was 306 at the 3rd floor. Ask for a room that does not have a view on the road. It will be more quiet. .

Lovely newly refurbished interconnecting rooms for our family. Friendly welcoming staff. Great breakfast. Ideal location in town centre. Parking on street at a cost but free at night.

Good hotel and the rooms were comfortable. Only one of the whole staff, spoke English. So it was hard to feel welcome. Staff wasn’t always friendly.

We have been there several times and have never been disappoonted. Excellent local food, reasonable pricing, excellent service. Definitely worth to go there.

Very nice small hotel next to town center , near a river , lovely rooms with tv, Minibar, shower. They also have a restaurant in town center , breakfast and some a activities

Beautiful modern hotel. Only concern is that the WiFi isn't working in our room, only works in the dining room. Free breakfast is great.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed a lot of their room and breakfast every morning. The room is spacious and clear, the heater works unexpectedly well and makes the room warm and comfortable. The staff is also friendly and always so helpful. Except the WiFi signal was a bit unstable, everything is good! Highly Recommended!

It's our first time in Schwarzwald and we chose this place based on the reviews. Our expectations were normal since we thought a "Gasthof" is just a place to stay overnight. As you can see from the photo, it is just a lovely place offering amazing food! We were flashed. It is a very friendly atmosphere , I would say almost like a family. Come here!!!

Stayed at the guesthouse for three nights during the summer. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though don't expect a formal hotel. The guesthouse is run out of the restaurant, and during our stay the restaurant was closed due to a staff holiday. They left instructions on how to access the room, still had cleaning service and the restaurant was opened for breakfast only. The location in Gengenbach...

Had a great stay here very handy for the town centre we ate dinner on our 3rd night food was very good and relaxed hotel has parking across the street from the hotel worth the 5 euros per day its not easy to park in gengenbach during the day good choice for breakfast compared to most European countries I have visited cold ham cheese bread salmon salad fruit scrambled eggs with bacon or boiled eggs...

Hotel, equipment and kitchen a bit old with "dusty charm". A renovation and a "breath of fresh air" in the kitchen / menu could raise the level significantly. The location would be good, there is potential. Still, down-to-earth, home-style

I was a guest for two nights and felt very comfortable. I felt very warmly welcomed and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The prices were appropriate.

During a multi-day bike tour through the Kinzig Valley from Alpirsbach to Offenburg, I spent one night at the Hotel Sonne in Zell am Harmersbach. Very friendly and helpful reception. Large, well-furnished room with a large balcony. The dinner on the terrace was excellent. The staff competent and friendly. I can highly recommend the sun.

Nice and comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Spacious, clean and quiet rooms. There was no breakfast but free coffee and tea available in the corridor, and several good options for having breakfast in town. Very good value for money.

I enjoyed a really nice stay at Hotel Klosterbraustuben. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was quality and absolutely delicious.

A great hotel in the heart of the black forest. Rooms are big, clean and very practical. Most of the rooms have a balcony which is really nice during summer. Big selection for breakfast. The restaurant is also really good with seasonal dishes.. seasonal soups are great! The sauna and badenhalle is really nice and relaxing. Staff always very friendly and helpful. I rarely give a 5 to anyone. What you see presented in their website is EXACTLY what you get. Typical Alt-Deutsche design but modernized with great taste. Cuisine is wonderfully presented with friendly service. Very comfortable. You get what you pay for here. Very good value for your €uro. I've been here many times and they consistently render the highest service, quality and cleanliness.
