A fantastic experience at a truly medieval castle. We stayed for a few nights in the "Carriage House." Beautiful in every way. The resturant is a bit expensive for our tastes, but the food was fantastic.

No need to write lots - great hotel, staff, food and atmosphere, their wine tasting room next door has 5 Gault and Millau grapes... that's pretty much says it all. On or off season, it's amazing.

Nice clean rooms, nice breakfast, but hostess is no longer friendly if we didn't buy wine from them. In the evening it is not allowed to sit in the guest room and it is not possible to get coffee, tea or soft drinks.

Thank you for the week! We have fond memories of the Löwen family. Both the senior citizens and the boss made every effort and looked after the guests. The rooms were cleaned properly every day, the breakfast was good and sufficient. In the evenings in the wine tavern, we had interesting conversations with the family. Was very good. The wine is also highly recommended;)

We were guests in a great apartment with a very nice panoramic view of the Moselle and the surrounding area. The hosts are very, very nice and concerned. We had a lot of fun and would be happy to come back.

The cake was delicious, lots of choice, the terrace is nice and quiet. The waitresses were all very nice.

Payment only in cash. No bank cards. Prefer to go to Luxembourg or France, bank cards of course, cash rarely.

Very, very nice, exceptionaly clean rooms and a great cafe serving delicous food in a peacfull setting with woodland walks nearby. The owners (Jan Ernst) are extreemly friendly and accommadating and the breakfast delicious. 5 stars from me for sure.

The best staff I have ever had help us! We showed up late and they still served us dinner and made us warm drink too warm up after 12 hours on bicycle! Room was great and we slept amazingly also! Breakfast was just as good. Fresh food and drinks and even cooked extra and special request! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Situated right on the Mosela cykling road, pro biker oriented, meal very tasty and big portions, kind staff, rooms small but clean.

Beautiful property... about a 25min walk to historical down town. You can take a cab but it’s a awesome walk thought wine country! The hotel staff was very nice this is a large property with lots todo.

It's good, not excellent. It's dated, the "rooms" are pretty small but the apartments are of a good size. Plumbing, kitchen, shower/bathtub is ok. German granny style :). Colors are basically Brown and dark brown and tad's of gold. (Don't get your hopes up, it's all fake). In this (extreme) hot period it's also very hot and humid in the rooms even at night. Needs work Wlan is bad, food wasn't very good. The little shop wasn't opened long enough. To much meds given. For me it was a waste of time.

Ms. Müller is a warm woman who made you feel like she was having fun at her work. We had a clean room with a TV and a double bed. Nice place, not fancy and yes the decor was stuck in the 80s (70s?), but the hostess was very friendly, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the price was right. We stayed here for the Bernkastel-Kues weinfest 2018, and it was a bit of a hike to BK, almost 3 miles. But it was a nice footpath along the river, so no regrets. And taxis were available...

We had a very nice room with a roof terrace and a view of the Moselle, everything was clean and well-kept. It's a historic building, so I can see the light soundproofing in the rooms. The only drawback, we booked with a dog. Breakfast included. But the dog is not allowed to stay alone in the room? But not in the breakfast room either... uhmmm, how am I supposed to have breakfast then, please? Therefore...

Very simple hotel. The room functional, clean with a nice bathroom. The location in the old town great only for sleeping very noisy. The breakfast not appealing. Very basic, paid €100 for one night in a double room. Wouldn't book there again.

Barrier-free, as there is an elevator and only a small step in the shower. But the entrance cannot be reached by car. The location in the old town is otherwise great, but you have to be able to walk well. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately the beds were a disaster. The staff was very friendly!

A Gem of a Place Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters).

A beautiful town with a charming centre in the traditional German style. If your staying at a local hotel a voucher is available to allow parking in public car parks. (5euros 2019).

Just got back from a 3-night stay at this beautiful hotel. The first thing to say is that the customer service could not have been better. Every staff member was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The spa facilities are gorgeous and wonderfully kept. I had two treatments, very relaxing. The food and wine was delicious. Sat on the riverside terrace, very lovely to be fair. Took a while to get served, staff on duty went from 1 to 3 suddenly so someone came to our table. A few nice things on the menu but zero vegan options including the potato soup. We were hungry and could not eat, had a drink and left. Absolutely perfect one night stay. Suites are stunning with a view straight over the Mosel and across the bridge to the town. Gym facilities and pool all top quality, only slight disappointment was sauna not being open before 11am. Service was incredibly friendly and all the amenities you could ever need.

Nice big, clean and quiet room. An idyllic garden with seating and loungers and a small fish pond invites you. The opulent breakfast, served by the friendly boss, leaves nothing to be desired. Nice rooms with lots of art, slightly tricky faucet in the shower, but nice when you figured it out. Food is what I'd call normal. Salad is the same plate every day for every dish and portions could be larger. Breakfast is a quite large buffet. Staff is friendly and helpful, and there is a very large room with a stage for your party or practise needs.
