A fantastic experience at a truly medieval castle. We stayed for a few nights in the "Carriage House." Beautiful in every way. The resturant is a bit expensive for our tastes, but the food was fantastic.

No need to write lots - great hotel, staff, food and atmosphere, their wine tasting room next door has 5 Gault and Millau grapes... that's pretty much says it all. On or off season, it's amazing.

Aesthetics alone cannot rescue the experience of a stay where middle management approach customers very badly. Also, for a superior room, one would hope for enough space to at least open a couple of suitcases. For the most part, other staff were superb and friendly, and we do recommend the breakfasts there. Note well, if you should do the natural customer behaviour of just taking some photos outside...

Nice clean rooms, nice breakfast, but hostess is no longer friendly if we didn't buy wine from them. In the evening it is not allowed to sit in the guest room and it is not possible to get coffee, tea or soft drinks.

Thank you for the week! We have fond memories of the Löwen family. Both the senior citizens and the boss made every effort and looked after the guests. The rooms were cleaned properly every day, the breakfast was good and sufficient. In the evenings in the wine tavern, we had interesting conversations with the family. Was very good. Went for a tour and dinner. Excellent tour and superb homecooked dinner. John was generous with the wine and they accommodated my vegan partner perfectly. In her words: “the best meal I’ve had all trip.” Would highly recommend this very personal experience

We are currently in the house and really have to say that it actually doesn't get any better. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bathroom with shower. The house as such has been renovated with great care and quality. We will definitely recommend it or even come back ourselves.

Very tastefully furnished holiday apartments, directly on the Moselle cycle path and in the immediate vicinity of the Maare-Moselle cycle path (railway cycle path). We especially recommend the rooms with a balcony!

Nice hotel for sleeping with breakfast, beautiful area for cycling and walking around the Moselle

Our conclusion: Moselle and Brauneberg, gladly again. The view of the Moselle and the vineyards is great. The hostess is tried hard, the breakfast was not outstanding but ok. Unfortunately, the bed linen and towels were already quite worn and the TV was more than small, so it was not possible to watch relaxed in the evening.

When there is a chance and they put slots on Booking.com, definitely take it! It’s marvelous value for money, and you get very good breakfast and the whole spa for free! Only be aware: it’s 3km up from the Mosel, 3 very steep kilometers, which is hell for cyclists, and it causes you to stay where you are once there…

The rooms are modern. Really nice bath and furniture. But I'm missing the air condition. With 38 degrees over day temperature outside... Below average food at a premium price. Steak (ordered medium) was tasteless and tough as an old boot. Wines are good but very pricey compared to similar wines in the region.

The best staff I have ever had help us! We showed up late and they still served us dinner and made us warm drink too warm up after 12 hours on bicycle! Room was great and we slept amazingly also! Breakfast was just as good. Fresh food and drinks and even cooked extra and special request! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We were lucky and asked if there was anything else available. There was exactly one room left, it was very small, but we were told that from the start. And was great for staying overnight. The breakfast was very rich and plentiful. All in all a very great overnight stay. We'd love to come back.

It's good, not excellent. It's dated, the "rooms" are pretty small but the apartments are of a good size. Plumbing, kitchen, shower/bathtub is ok. German granny style :). Ms. Müller is a warm woman who made you feel like she was having fun at her work. We had a clean room with a TV and a double bed. Nice place, not fancy and yes the decor was stuck in the 80s (70s?), but the hostess was very friendly, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the price was right. We stayed here for the Bernkastel-Kues weinfest 2018, and it was a bit of a hike to BK, almost 3 miles. But it was a nice footpath along the river, so no regrets. And taxis were available...

Ein akzeptables Low-Budget-Hotel, alles was man braucht - und nicht mehr. Wären da nicht die 30 grad im Zimmer und eine nicht wirklich funktionierende Klimaanlage gewesen, die Nacht wäre vielleicht ganz passabel gewesen.

I stayed 4 nights Here for a Business Trip. Reception was Very friendly and welcoming, WiFi free and Clean room. The Bistro was Excellenz for breakfast and at night for pizza and Drinks with a bar. Recommended 10 Out of 10 for this price range

The family hotel is great. The siblings are very nice and helpful. The view of the vineyards from the terrace is beautiful. Breakfast is delicious and served in the beautiful old restaurant. The rooms are simple but bright, clean and cosy. The water pressure in the shower is really cool. We'd love to come back :)

Probably quite good for cyclists, as the bikes can be parked in a garage. Gastronomy for years. Rooms are spacious but not modern and very noisy. TV much too small. Church 50 meters away provides half-hourly time information. Access via steep outside stairs. Staff very friendly.

Good hotel room though a bit small for 2 people. The view however is worth it...directly by the river with beautiful wineyards on the other side. The breakfast is just enough..and the staff are really helpful. In order to visit the model valley I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Es ist ein kleines, sehr gemütlich und persönlich gefülltes Hotel. Wir kommen hier sehr gerne hin die Zimmer sind sehr sauber die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Very friendly service and as has often been written here, there was a great breakfast. The rooms were quite cramped and noisy, but comfortably furnished. For a night on the bike trip ok. The restaurant next door is not recommended. There was nothing wrong with the food, the conditions employed were also friendly, but it was closed very early and the guests were "thrown out".

Very nice operators who also prepared breakfast in the morning. Key service via code is therefore possible at any time. Breakfast was more than enough and as soon as something was empty it was immediately refilled. Rooms were not big but very clean and well maintained. Would I stay again.

Hotel was perfect for an overnight stay. This has the best private sauna. There is plenty of parking for everyone. 4 stars because breakfast was packed and we had to wait over 20 minutes to be seated. Rooms are clean.

Stayed here in 2015 fantastic breakfast layout great service from all the staff and nice clean rooms. Lots of free parking and only 5 minutes walk in to town just takes longer to stagger back after a few local drinks.
