The River is great, the rooms are ok. River view i guess is better. We stayed in the pool side rooms. No noise during the week. Wait staff super nice. I am not sure about the previous reviews but we (family of 5 ) had a lot of food here and let me tell you - out of 20+ things we tried, everything was awesome. Without a doubt, the place is very beautiful I would recommend it and I would come back. The only thing I didn't like was their high prices in the restaurant dishes as they didn't taste good at all, but the hotel is very cozy and the green areas incredible, an unforgettable view you could feel a lot of peace, I would love to come back and I would do it soon. We got a room in the old section and it was in need of some basic repairs. It was clean though. The pool table does not have enough balls to make a full rack, the three 7 balls made for an interesting game. We came here on April for our honeymoon, they arranged the towels nicely and put some roses which was a nice surprise. Hotel is very nice, located on a beautiful lake. They have a bridge over and some paths to walk along, beautiful. We came with a car so like 5 min away from the main town. Only thing we had a problem with - only a few of the staff knew any English. It is a nice place with an excellent service. The location is kind of challenging to arrive at night, but it is the geography. The rooms need a make up of modernization.

absolutely fantastic place to stay. Room service was excellent. the service is super awesome. great dining area and some light small trails. plus you got multiple pools and a river to cool off. Walk the premises and enjoy the flowers and plants.

A great hideway in the hills in Jarabacoa. Beautiful secure grounds. Spacious rooms with everything you might need. Beautiful setting with a nice pool surrounded by lush forest. A short drive to the town of Jarabacoa. Awesome caring staff who know everything you might like to know about the area. Good breakfast, decent internet. We will definitely be back.

My husband, three old son and I visited this hidden gem for two nights. The service was impeccable, the staff was amazing and our entire experience was straight out of a travel magazine. Get off the beaten path! There is so much more to see of the Dominican Republic than the all inclusive resorts! Villa Celeste was truly hidden paradise!

I had an amazing time at this gorgeous place! One of the best times ever! Everything had been thought through so well. It was beautiful, clean, and comfortable...the food was great! We stayed for over 5 weeks and have no regrets!!! Vanessa, David and Nido were so welcoming and helpful!!! We will be back many many times!!!

Vanessa and David are great hosts. The Villa is in a beautiful location. It's very peaceful and relaxing. My husband and I spent our wedding night at the Villa and all was perfect. We enjoyed a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. You should definitely book a stay with Vanessa and David at Villa Celeste Estate!

Room four has an amazing view! I'm sure all the rooms have a nice view as the estate is surrounded by mountains and vegetation. Pic is view from room!

I loved this place, it feels like home. Very calm and relaxed. Yesy is wonderful woman, she will make sure that you feel comfortable and welcomed in her hostel. She also organized horseback riding tour for us, unforgettable experience. Thank you Yesy :)

This is like to be in a home. quite,clean home setting, the surrounding is tranquil soft music of all pine trees around the house. The manager is a very comprehensive,cooperative gently lady.

Short but intense stay! Cathy is a caring, attentive host who enjoys sharing her experience and knowledge about the country and its culture. Great breakfasts with coffee and fresh fruit every morning. She dropped us off at various places so that we could visit the village. Nothing to say, at the top! To redo with great pleasure

Nice clean rooms. The hostess is courteous. She has 3 dogs, a parrot and budgies. All very sweet and good entertainers. She has her own excellent coffee that is served in the morning. Again any time!

Very good place to rest and be close to the nature, the room are good a little expensive the should include Luch and the checkout should extend to 3:00pm.

The experience overall was good the place is nice great views and tranquility the room was comfortable but not all secure. The service was slow but they did the job. The cleaning service was always on point, always checking if we needed anything. The location is great in general. The pools were always cold is good for a hot day but not for a cloudy day but it seems they have situations with the heater...

The pools were all empty because of the flood the day before, I guess I'm also spoiled to flushing my toilet paper. This was a free day on our mission trip, I'd have rather stayed at the mission and just layed out. Guess it's a hit with the locals. I'm from South Mississippi, so things are very different in my country, and I thank God for it everyday without fail. I pray that their country may be blessed...

very nice place many cold water pools, the bed I got was a little small for 2 people, but a very good family atmosphere

It was a great place to go to and relax after a long ,hot, and hard week! The food was good and I enjoyed just floating in the pool!
