Where to stay in Jarabacoa

When you arrive, the grounds are really something. Beautiful planting, gorgeous setting on the river. Let down by surly staff and, for us, a tired room with a damp bathroom and dodgy shower and an old matress. The gardens and river are lovely but the staff were unhelpful and uninterested.

Gets 5 stars for location! Beautiful property with a great restaurant and swimming pool. Fun for families. Playground for children along with billiards and ping pong tables. Friendly staff.

Excellent stay! We loved the AC unit and how cold it was. Great sleep! We will definitely return.

Had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had a rooms witb Riverview it was so wonderful sleeping with the soothing sound of the river in the background. The service is wonderful, personell is ready to help and give advice where needed. Also have enough information to give tips or even help out with your wishes.

This is a great place, beautiful scenery, and the perfect place to relax. The only thing I did not like too much was the food.

They need more comfortable mattresses Period….. It was okay but the bed Matress was horrible and extremely uncomfortable.

A great hideway in the hills in Jarabacoa. Beautiful secure grounds. Spacious rooms with everything you might need. Beautiful setting with a nice pool surrounded by lush forest. A short drive to the town of Jarabacoa. Awesome caring staff who know everything you might like to know about the area. Good breakfast, decent internet. We will definitely be back.

My husband, three old son and I visited this hidden gem for two nights. The service was impeccable, the staff was amazing and our entire experience was straight out of a travel magazine. Get off the beaten path! There is so much more to see of the Dominican Republic than the all inclusive resorts! Villa Celeste was truly hidden paradise!

Que sueñito preciososo. Un sitio chiquito pero muy bello. No hay televisiones en la habitaciones porque es un sitio de despejarse y tranquilidad. Que paz y que atenciones de los dueños! El desayuno es sabroso. La picina en el medio de la naturaleza. No hay queja.

I had an amazing time at this gorgeous place! One of the best times ever! Everything had been thought through so well. It was beautiful, clean, and comfortable...the food was great! We stayed for over 5 weeks and have no regrets!!! Vanessa, David and Nido were so welcoming and helpful!!! We will be back many many times!!!

Vanessa and David are great hosts. The Villa is in a beautiful location. It's very peaceful and relaxing. My husband and I spent our wedding night at the Villa and all was perfect. We enjoyed a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. You should definitely book a stay with Vanessa and David at Villa Celeste Estate!

The place is so full of nature and beauty. Everything is so peaceful and calming. From the moment you arrive, you feel in touch with nature immediately. I like it that it’s located far from the city and any noise from it. The food is delicious, the service is exceptional, the environment is very relaxing. 100% recommended!

Pretty quiet and chill place. Food is excelent and the service even more. Rooms are simple but comfortable, only downside i can think of is that there isnt hot water on the shower.

Gorgeous and peaceful eco place with a rural theme. Pool is available and rooms are separate rural houses. Restaurant is also available with great, typical home-cooked style food. Host and staff are friendly and welcoming. A must if you're looking to connect with nature and enjoy a peace and fresh air. Great family atmosphere.

An excellent place to go vacation and relax

Rustic retreat. Great hosts! Had a nice time here. Loved the food and the wonderful variety of plants growing. In the heart of mountain cattle ranching area. Would definitely visit again.

In August 2021 Rancho Baiguate is closed due to Corona virus. We drove there and we got help to find another hotel instead. Furthermore they helped us to connect with a guide for canyoning. However neither the homepage nor via email we got any information regarding the booking possibilities. At the Ranch they told us they open only for bigger groups / group reservation. I hope this helps other travelers...

The grounds are beautiful. We did not stay here, but came over for a day of rafting. The river was exciting after a night of raining, and a great way to spend a rainy day. Wear leggings if it's cool and raining! Water shoes would be advisable, or old tennis shoes.

Beautiful location... very courteous and helpful staff. We did two excursions- river trek and rafting.. both were excellent. They are well organized, family friendly and the food is simple but flavorful.

Very nice place. Great to have cooler temps than in Cabarete. Room was clean and functional. Internet worked well, decent food and swimming pool. Best thing was all the activities they arrange. I only did white water rafting and horse ride to waterfall. Both were great and well organized. Prices, all inclusive, were reasonable. Highly recommend.

Great place to spend a weekend away from the city, and have a relaxing outdoors experience

The hostel's owner is very kind. The rooms are well maintained and there are many activites that you can do close by, like paragliding, horseback riding and canyoning, with a truck coming to pick you up in the morning and taking you back at the end.

The most beautiful and friendly place in Jarabacoa. Molly and the staff are always friendly and the place is nicely located close to the town and well equipped. Safe and good environment.

The most beautiful hostel I've ever stayed in. The common room has leather couches, there's a full kitchen, wifi, bikes, tvs, DVDs, books, washing machine, hot showers and the friendliest owners!!

We had such a good experience in the ruiseñor ranch. One of the best accommodation we had in RD. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. The place is beautiful, very clean, well equipped. We will comeback with pleasure !! Thanks again for everything.

Quiet away from noise and traffic,nice mountain view, beautiful sun rises and sun sets, good place for honeymooners. I m just a nearby neighbor , not a guest anymore.

The greatest place to stay in Jarabacoa. The manager is extremely nice and helpful. She might help you to organise your stay in the area. Rooms are not very big but cosy and clean. And there is hot water in the tap :D

Nothing special, it was empty, no atmosphere. The man at the front desk is helpful.

Very cheap, only 800 pesos for a dorm room. Lots of noise from motorbikes and party so didn't get a good sleep. The room and kitchen were dirty. Central location. The staff weren't very friendly.

Great hostel and nearby central park, great recommendations for tourist attractions...close to carbie tours bus terminal..had a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook...the owner is a very interesting gentlemen to chat with..can be a little noisy as it is in the center but did not impact on my sleep at all...good option for a short stay

The hostel was not the nicest or most beautiful I have seen, but the staff here was the best of any hostel I have ever stayed at. They really made me feel like family and arranged tours to see the surrounding landmarks.
