Where to stay in Nagua

Pleasant welcome, pretty exterior, well-maintained swimming pool. However, the room was a bit dated with a very rusty fridge, smells coming from the bathroom and above all, the main problem was a very uncomfortable mattress for my partner, so he had a bad night's sleep!

Because the hotel is close to the beach they really need to do more updating. But I was able to sleep even though the bed and the pillows weren’t comfortable

Super nice staff, they have given me an upgraded room. Very spacious, good water pressure and hot water. Recommend if you're passing by this area for a one night stop.

This place is pretty great! We stayed in the suite with a private jacuzzi and ocean view, amazing!

Perfect for the price, they have rooms for 1500 (i paid 1900 online) or 1000. I've stayed in both and there was very little difference in the two. Very cleen and comfortable and working air conditioning with cable TV and a cold fridge. No complaints at all! I would give 5 stars if there was a bigger difference between the two options. It's a good hotel to spend 1 or 2 nights. The thing that makes it good is its location, close to many businesses and the beach.

stayed 1 night for honeymoon great place! cant use the beach tho lots of waves at that time we were the only guests at the place, the power electricity was gone for some hrs and came back and back forward but very nice place great food! definitely will go back! thankyou

From Neuquen Argentina, we were in those beautiful beaches, its people, the personalized attention to the tourist, the extraordinary attention of the staff of the public hospital for an accident we had, speak for themselves of their care and responsibility for their vicitentes, God willing soon we will be back. The pool and rooms were clean. They give you coffee and sugar in suite. It has a kitchenette where you can make your own meals. They provide the pans. Staff was great.

Wonderful and beautiful resort with amazing staff. The breakfast is amazing. We were here for their Mother’s Day. The grilled buffet included seafood, ribs, fruit and vegetables. Delicious pastries available also. The staff makes sure your stay is everything you could ask for. Restaurant is lacking in taste and options for lunch and dinner.

Beautiful hotel grounds and well kept, however NO HOT WATER. You might think it's not needed but who wants to shower and shave with cold water? Not me :)

Let me say this first, this is a review of the SPA. The property was amazing and the staff were a delight. The spa manager, not so much. A month before this wedding I went to I booked a hair styling appointment, sent a video demonstration of what I wanted done and asked if it was ok. I had to continuously pester them to get replies, they then told me to bring extensions to add volume to the style...

This was a lovely place - it felt boutique and the staff were very good, kind, attentive and helpful. Being completely comprehensive, the food and the pool were not 5 stars but the beach and the service/other food options made up for it. Would def recommend and was an oasis we’d return to.

The beach was beautiful and clean and the service was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and friendly very caring staff. Unfortunately we got very sick for 3 days, the medical staff were wonderful and the medical attention was outstanding. The room was comfortable. The food was ok too. It was a bitter sweat experience but overall happy we got to visit such beautiful place.

Our first visit was a 2 week stay. Wish we could have stayed a month or more. Great facility. Huge and spacious. Amazing beach. Room had private plunge pool. Was fantastic. Loved this place! So peaceful and fun at the same time. It's not too big so after some days you start feeling as a big family. The entertainment team is simply the best! Some of the workers were amazing such as Marcel who gave us an amazing archery and kayaking experience and the bartenders Edison, Luis Daniel and David and in general the bartenders in the main bar were nice and made good coffee but there were many issues during our stay especially on our last night such as ordering room service and not receiving it after over 3.5 hours and being hung up on after calling...

We had a lovely time at this hotel! And the beach is gorgeous! The bathrooms could use an updating but that was just a small detail! Food was great and location on the beach was exquisite! Everything else was just perfect.

Quick resolve by staff to our queries, standing out were Hugo and Pedro Pablo. In general all staff is very friendly and forthcoming. Our two bedroom suite was very ample and in good shape, except maybe the furniture on the terrace

If you are looking for an exclusive and opulence in Samana, look no further. Great restaurant, beach and pool area. Close to everything yet far enough to have privacy for couples or family. Highly recommended.

Hotel Atlantis was amazing. It’s a very quiet hotel with a beautiful property full of trees and plants, located right on the beach and beach path. The staff was fantastic. They arranged taxi services for us, and the housekeeping team was incredible—going above and beyond each day to keep our room spotless. There are lots of great restaurants and drinks just steps away. We’ll definitely be back soon

The good : The location is nice, the hotel is beautiful. The bad: The beach front of the hotel isn't much to write home about especially considering the dirty sun beds and the beach in general in front of the hotel. The free continental breakfest included drinks and toasted bread with jelly/butter/honey option.. sad I chose this hotel and paid above market price and felt disappointed

Another great stay at Hotel Atlantis! Our go to spot in Las Terranes. We always enjoy staying here. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Hotel is right on Playa Bonita.
