Our first visit was a 2 week stay. Wish we could have stayed a month or more.
Great facility. Huge and spacious.
Amazing beach.
Room had private plunge pool. Was fantastic.
Plenty of daily entertainment..every day..
Food was great.

Overall service from management to food server was great!

Rebooked for another two weeks this coming October 2024.

This is the first time we have chosen the Dominican Republic for our holiday. Not having the slightest experience in this republic, we honestly chose the presence of a beautiful beach and were right. In addition, what was our surprise upon arrival that this particular hotel was only for adults (without children), for us specifically this was a BIG plus, since we did not see such a description of the hotel on the website. very friendly and smiling staff. Even though I don't speak Spanish, I had no problems communicating with the staff. special thanks to the animators (Dominica, Javier, Auriel, Cafe, Marie, Connie, Uli... I would like to write the names of all the animators, but my memory fails hehe, I apologize if I didn’t name anyone) they made the holiday more fun. I would also like to note the good work of the staff in the restaurant; you could always choose what to eat and choose what you liked. hotel location. It's not exactly convenient if you want to visit the nearest town on foot, but you can always take a taxi ($20 one way). In fact, the hotel area is not very large, but very beautiful, it’s always clean, tidy, the pools are clean, the lawn is trimmed, etc., and if you get bored, you can always go on cool excursions, we didn’t regret taking advantage of the excursion, cheerful guide and many beautiful natural places. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends. thank you very much

Loved this place! So peaceful and fun at the same time. It's not too big so after some days you start feeling as a big family. The entertainment team is simply the best! I want to be back pretty soon. This time we stayed at a bungalow, but it wasn't worth it so we'll stay at the main building.
Suggestions: provide information on arrival about available tours. We wanted to go to Los Haitises but didn't knew that tour was on specific days

Some of the workers were amazing such as Marcel who gave us an amazing archery and kayaking experience and the bartenders Edison, Luis Daniel and David and in general the bartenders in the main bar were nice and made good coffee but there were many issues during our stay especially on our last night such as ordering room service and not receiving it after over 3.5 hours and being hung up on after calling to check on the status of our order and then when we called to let the resort know about our experience we told them we just wanted to let them know it never came so they could improve their service we didn’t even want to escalate it into a big issue but then they were just mean to us and tried to blame us for not telling them our room number when they never asked for it and we did get room service before with the same exact process except they actually delivered what they promised. They then asked us for our order again which after waiting for almost 4 hours at that point we did not even want the food anymore but then they wouldn’t even listen to what we were saying and instead just reordered the room service that we wanted from earlier which took an hour and then the person that delivered our room service didn’t even close our door they were just so disrespectful towards the end of our trip. It seems that the owner came in 06/10 according to what a few workers told us and then on 06/11 some of them completely gave up on trying to give good service and instead decided since they got their audit over with they could just treat us poorly. This completely ruined our view of the resort and we left feeling very upset at the way we were treated and ignored by multiple people from the front desk, room service and various customer service numbers.

As soon as we arrived, Luis from guest services immediately took care of us. From start to finish he was nothing but smiles and has a friendly demeanor- it definitely made the experience better. All of the staff is pretty nice.

Any issues that we had, like being short on towels, WiFi connectivity, pool light not function, etc… Luis was always there to help out- very very nice job.

Moreover, the restaurants prepared the meals really well and the plating/presentation of the food was nicely done. The food tasted better than expected. No Michelin starts here, but it was decent.

We weren’t a big fan of the Buffett and snack bar area - if there is any recommendation for improvement, this is what I would try to fix.

We had a wonderful time staying at Viva V Samana by Wyndham. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The friendly staff and attention to detail were above and beyond. I loved the spa room. It felt like you were on a private island. The food was excellent and there were many restaurants to choose from. We managed to do an excursion for a whale watch trip. We are planning to return to this hidden gem in our future travels. ✨️

Spent 5 nights here with my wife. We flew into Santo Domingo and drove a rental car down to Las Terrenas. The resort in on the smaller side and easy to navigate, room was nice with partial view of the ocean & staff were friendly.

They do have the guys in the green shirts trying to talk you into a time share or activities but they aren't overly pushy.

The buffet is not the greatest but we aren't picky and made the most of it.

They gave a gym, sauna, & spa which we didn't use. You have the option to sit by the pool or at the beach, we spent each day at the beach and each afternoon we would take a walk for miles in each direction all along the beach front and this was the highlight of the stay.

A couple of days we took a drive into the nearest town called Playa Bonita which is highly populated with Italian & French expats. We ate at a couple of Italian restaurants which were absolutely amazing.

This is the perfect place for relaxing and also experiencing some of the local town and experience some of the amazing culture DR has to offer.
