Where to stay in Siwah

Nice simple hotel located on one of Siwa's famous lakes, vast clean rooms , clean bathrooms with the necessary supplies, nice breakfast in the morning, very welcoming staff, the only problem was the weakness of hot water, I think it is a general problem in Siwa, the pressure of water

It was such a lovely experience.. The place was really clean the food was delicious and the staff was really friendly and helpful..

It's a good small resort. It has Siwa Style. Rooms are fitting for sleeping, provided with AC. You don't need anything more, 'cos you spend most of the day outside. Hotel is so far from the downtown. Frankly, all distances are far from each other. Should have a transportaion. Breakfast is good, but without any to much varieties. Just the traditional Egyptian break fast; beans, boiling eggs, Ballella...

I went there for arthrities treatment. The staff were friendly and place was cozy. The place also provided safari trips, sightseeing.

So unique and really beautiful! Their food is fantastic and the entire hotel built to look like ancient Egyptian style , but thats d beauty of it! All rooms clean and smell very nice with clean white bedsheets. Plants and trees every where, i totally enjoyed my stay.

Based on past reviews I had not so good expectations to be honest. However I was positively surprised by the resort. People were friendly. Siwa shali is nice hotel to enjou enjoy your staying at Siwa Oasis and the rooms are clear, The view of mointain of Dakrour is very nice and winderful, The staff is very helpful and kind

The place is nice, a little far from the town but good. The staff is helpful, though the canal that runs along the resort could have been used much better. The pool needs more attention as it is not clean. I gave them 4 stars and not 3 because, I didn't care much about the pool.

Not bad. Service was nice. They need to clean the rooms better. I had to disinfect it myself. Bring everything you need for mosquitoes.

Loved this place. It’s a shame we only got one night. Beautifully quiet. We did discover that there is a single water shutoff valve in the room. An excellent idea from an engineering point of view, but a bit disconcerting if you don’t realize it…. My guess is that ecolodge aficionados would not be surprised by this. No worries, a quick question and all was resolved.

Had such a great experience in this hotel in February 2024, I booked 2 single rooms with air-conditioning for me and my friend and I was so pleasantly surprised with the hotel and the staff that works there. Nice hotel concerning its location to the downtown, but needs a lot of improvement conernong room facilities

Rooms were clean and comfy. The whole place was quiet, relaxing and very close to the city center. Breakfast buffet was a bit too limited and it would have been better it there was some sort of room service.

My experience with rooms was horrible. There are better rooms but I was given one of the few lower rooms. It was clean but could've been easily given a better room.

The owner and his workers are all very nice. The location being close to the city centre helps with the commute.

We were pleasantly surprised that our room offered an electrical outlet and hot water. We thought that the hotel being an ecolodge would not have electricity or hot water. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The views from the hotel are Instagram worthy. We would definitely stay again. Unique and fun experience.

Memorable indeed. Set in a GORGEOUS spot in Siwa, with spectacular views. The rooms are very homey. I gave it 4 stars because we had an ant infestation (they were even in our bed and in my hair overnight!), but there are some prices to pay when you know you're staying at an eco lodge. Loved it but if you like the outdoorsy vibe. The view was great the food was amazing and the staff was so hospitable. The rooms didn't have electricity or wifi but didn't bother me at all. I really enjoyed my stay and I would stay there again. Also, my room was fabulous.

What a beautiful escape! I had a very memorable stay at Taziry. The food was phenomenal and hit perfectly for every single meal we had. Some of my favourites were the pumpkin mousse, chocolate mousse, lamb (cooked underground), duck, tajines and the msemen with honey and jams (fig, hibiscus, etc) served at breakfast. They also sell olive oil, dates and jams at a great price so you can purchase them...

The hotel is perfect getaway. Although it is an eco lodge with no electricity, but the view and the food are excellent. It's little difficult to arrive if you are driving. The rooms are warm and cozy.

An enchanting place to be. Unbelievably beautiful. Staff are attentive and helpful but not overly so. Food is delicous. It's truly magical to lie back and look up at ALL the stars in the sky. Don't forget a torch though, you may need it!

It was wonderful to stay at a place that felt very traditional. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was great, especially the breakfast (the best I've had in all of Egypt). It's in a great location and surrounded by a lot. Would definitely stay here again.

Unique venue in the heart of the ancient city of Shali. It is a small hotel with an exceptional architecture and decorations that I bet you will find it elsewhere! Amazing dining experience on the rooftop with the stunning views of the citadel of Shali. The prices are humble.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Even though I arrived before check-in time, they welcomed me with a smile and let me into my room. The room was very clean and I felt very comfortable. I really liked this hostel, it is clean, quiet, friendly and has some atmosphere of Bedouin culture. I think the price and experience are compatible. Also owner of place Faraj is nice guy, very talkative and friendly, speak English good and can teach you many things about Bedouin life. I recommend you this place, and sure you will enjoy your time there.

I stayed at the Al-Manara Hostel in Siwa and I absolutely loved it, it’s the best hostel that I’ve stayed in the whole of Egypt. I stayed in a male dormitory and it was super good value for money, included a free Bedouin style Siwa breakfast which I had in the morning before I left on an activity. I stayed at Al-Manara Hostel Siwa Oasis, actually it was an amazing experience.. I booked only 1 night because my trip was a business trip so I had to come back the second day .. It is clean and comfortable, you feel you are staying in a hotel not a Hostel and they are welcoming people. I will come back again It is highly recommended
