Stayed at Hotel Canovas for three nights on a chill-out trip with a childhood friend. It was a beautiful room in a lovely little street in Cadiz. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were lovely. We left considerably more relaxed than we came in, and enjoyed wandering the streets around the hotel.

Best location, quiet, friendly helpful staff. They also have a Fantastic Italian restaurant, bar, & breakfast option! Definitely charming and one of the best boutique hotels in Spain! We Highly recommend it!

Wonderful Cadiz and a Wonderful Hotel Casa Cánovas es muy amable. Knowledgeable, kindly staff helped and advised us very well. The hotel itself is very handsome, both traditional and up to date. And Cadiz is a splendid city. My wife did some historical research while we were visiting— it was a pleasure to be there.

Great, quiet location, a few blocks from central plaza. Staff helpful. Though I'm not a large person, shower was too small. Basin was too small to wash anything larger than a handkerchief.

I liked everything Very nice atmosphere in an old convent house. Much space, marble stairs. :) Clean and spaceous room. Wifi was working.

This is a unique property: located in a beautiful former convent, with a functioning church in the complex. The building was recently renovated, so the guest rooms and all the common areas are in excellent conditions. Our room was huge, with tall ceilings and a large bathroom. Hidden jem Absolutely fantastic hotel and highly recommended.

The bed sheets were not clean, there was some stains and hairs on them. Also ventilation isn’t good. It smells musty. Apart from this, the location was great and self check-in was easy.

It's a decent hostel in a good neighbourhood with a clean exterior. However, I feel that the rooms should have been cleaner, the door locking system is manual and a little complicated. Everything else is just fine.

The hostel is centrally located, close to the cathedral, beach, train/bus station, also surrounded by restaurants & stores. Reception service was great-fast check-in, loved that they let us leave our luggage there while we explored because we arrived super early. Perfect bed, clean bathroom, wonderful receptionist, the only downside is that the locker drawers make a lot of noise but everything else was very good.

It's a great place! Perfect to stay on your way to the ferry. Big parking on a closed and secured area (we were there with our motorcycles). Everything on ground floor, clean and freshly reformed (2018). Great and friendly stuff, clean and nice. Perfect!
