PROS: The staff are very polite and helpful. The location is good, on the beach and near most amenities and selection of bars and restaurants. Although the quality of food generally is not very good. It’s a very touristy place. The breakfast at the hotel is good, but some items like pancakes you could only get if you eat before 9am and the “hot food” is more lukewarm or cold that hot. CONS:. At €...
This is a long stretch of golden sand at the modern end of Cadiz. There are walkways along it at various intervals with beach bars and toilet facilities. On the other side of the promenade you will find a vast array of hotels, apartments and eating and drinking establishments to suit all palates.
Great room, lovely hotel and nice beaches in the surrounding area. Two downsides: Firstly, the wifi was absolutely terrible, and at some points just didn't seem to exist. Second was that we had to wait 1.5 hours after check in to get our room, and even though they very kindly gave us a complementary drink, none of the staff apologised or said sorry at any point (maybe I'm just very English in this...
Awesome location with magnificent sunset views! Wish our Spain trip itinerary included another couple of days in Cadiz! Plenty more to see next trip!
I was expecting upgrade of the rooms due to hotel was closed for few weeks in January, but the was not. Will not be easy for the to keep the standard when you have 2 more 4 star next to the hotel. But the breakfast is the best in Cadiz
Excellent! Great view from balcony, nice beach, swimming pool area, caring staff

Great view and breakfast. Only parking was not free, but there are many parkings nearby
Nice hotel, near the beach, which is beautiful.
The hotel is beautiful and very well managed. Buffet breakfast was delicious and the staff were really kind and helpful. The car park is very steep, even for Spanish standards. Located right next to the cathedral, it was not noisy at all!
The property has a beautiful reception area. The front entrance is overlooking the beach. Staff are very friendly, welcoming & helpful. Rooms are an excellent size & everywhere is very clean. In my opinion the menu in the restaurant does not have a good variety of restaurant meals.
Good location for the beach area. The historic centre is a 40-minute walk away.
The hotel is right in front of the beach and has an amazing boardwalk that you can walk into the Center of Cadiz which is a long walk about 40 minutes but worth it. You can easily grab a cab back to the hotel for about 6 Euros.

Spectacular hotel. Location is superb. Rooms are terrific. One of the best breakfast selections I have ever experienced. Fabulous swimming pools. View over Cádiz bay is beautiful.
We experienced the great power outage of Portugal and Spain. The hotel handled it as well as they could. Most essential facilities were working. Even their internet connection, even my wife and I of different networks, were down. They kept their bar open, which provided both lunch and dinner when most restaurants were closed. Event though their own computers were down, using just slips of paper for...
I love this hotel, there really aren’t any bad rooms. They all have a balcony and are huge. You either face the sunrise or the sunset and there are also open spaces on the roof of the building so you can appreciate the views all around. The location is great, right near to the old town and its delightful streets. Staff are friendly for a Parador where they can sometimes be a bit chilly. Breakfast...
Amazing staff, great breakfast but disappointed with room. No kettle or coffee machine and the design of the bed was dreadful. There was no headboard or wall just à gap with a piece of 50mm wood which hurt my head if I sat in bed. We have stayed in a lot of Paradors but wouldn't come back to this one because of the design of the bed. A great shame because everything else was perfect.
It's an old hotel located by the sea, so the facilities are old and the hotel should be updated. The breakfast is neither good nor bad. Overall, the price/performance ratio is average.
The room has a view of the sea, the facilities are a bit old, and the breakfast is average

A high quality hotel within easy access of a stunning beach, and near to restaurants, shops etc. There were car parking spaces on the main road for use whilst you checked in. An underground, secure car park was available for a reasonable fee. I must make a comment about the two receptionists on duty around 5.00 to 7.00 pm. They were excellent, and made me feel very welcome. I would stay here again
Convenient location. Close to bus stop and supermarket.  Clean and quiet.
Beautiful hotel located close to the water. They had a number of cute perks in the room such as a hairbrush, toothpaste, toothbrush, and slippers. The tv allowed pairing with the iPad, so we could watch a movie at night. The breakfast was great. So many options to choose from, all yummy. Also, the gym had kettlebells which my partner really appreciated.
We have just spent four nights at this hotel . Excellent rooms, location and very helpful staff. We would love to come back to Cadiz which is a lovely city and would definitely stay here again.
Really nice hotel with an incredibly welcoming staff and delicious breakfast. It is very close to the beach (under 5 min) and the city center ( cca. 15 min). Great price-quality balance. One note would be that the beds queen size so might be problematic for certain people (tall or wide). All in all a great place to stay in Cadiz. Will definitely come back.
Great hotel. The staff cannot do enough for you. Breakfast is very good. The rooms on floor 7 are lovely. Lots of helpful advice. Our second visit. Highly recommend.

Great service and amenities. Room clean and HSK super efficient. Breakfast is the normal but good
I would highly recommend this hotel for a clean and comfortable stay when visiting Cadiz. The beach is only a very short distance away. The public transport is excellent, with frequent bus services from 6am to 1am every day and only costing 1 Euro 10 cents per journey into the old town if you don't have a hire car. The cleaning team kept the room in immaculate condition and were very patient as we...
We stayed here for a two night trip to Cadiz. A modern comfortable hotel with all the amenities that you need. It is close to the Old Cadiz, about 15 minute walk but only 5 minutes away from the Sightseers bus stop. Our Tommy was clean, comfortable and well appointed, very comfortable bed. I also found this hotel to be very reasonably priced. Would I return? Most certainly.
The boiling water machine did not work properly, even I said It was leaking, It was never replace it.
Good value for money, good rest.
Very Clean Hotel Nest to the Beach . Helpful staff. Parking available at extra price.

Lovely little boutique hotel in the heart of Cadiz. If we didnt need a car park I would have rated facilities higher, but getting our vehicle into the hotel carpark was a challenge. But that is the price you pay to stay in the old part of town! We knew when we booked the hotel had limited dining facilities, and that was not an issue because there were about 50 restaurants within a 10 minute walk...
Very good location, quite spacious room and bathroom. Victor, the receptionist upon our arrival, was exceptionally polite, helpful and quick, with very good spoken English. Thanks to him, we made the most of our short stay in Cadiz. Thank you!
Rooms have no A/C. Dusty between furniture. Thermostat only gives heat. With it turned off our room was still warmer than the hallway and outdoors. Parking barely fit a very small economy car. 4point turn needed just to get into the parking garage, and guided by a staff! Great staff, friendly and helpful. Location is a bit of a hike to see anything worthwhile.
Super great, and wonderful location
This hotel is lovely. The rooms are large and the beds are super comfy. The hotel is so pretty and the roof top pool and viewing terrace is fantastic. The staff are all super helpful. Location is good. Highly recommended.
Great location. Not quite as nice as I had hoped. It isn't cheap to stay at the Senator hotel. The room cost double what we spent in Granada or Seville. I understand it isn't their peak season and the coast is more popular, but it made it more obvious that the more budget accommodation did some things better than the 4 star hotel we'd opted for as it looked a bit classier for the last 4 nights of...

The location and service was excellent the rooms were small but comfortable, there is breakfast available and is good enough no scramble eggs though, there is a restaurant on site open until late and a lot of places around to eat, is like 15 minutes walking from the catedral.
Sunrise and Sunset sensations Picturesque- frustrating getting there - it was tricky as my GPS kept sending me to wrong way streets. Ask for the street that leads one into the plaza from the Main Street.
The only hiccup was that there was a sort of smell of sewage at times. But other than that, I had a great experience and will come back again.
I would like to compliment the counter staff Javier for his excellent professional attitude and service to us. We will definitely recommend all to stay in your hotel on social media and so on. Very well located hotel right in the heart of this lovely old city. My room and bathroom are spotlessly clean and tidy. My window overlooks a lovely ( and lively ) little plaza with bars, restaurants and flamenco playing guitarists! The inclusive breakfast is taken in the public bar / cafè downstairs and is basic but sufficient. I'm loving my time here and would happily return!

Nice hotel in the middle of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean but very small. I made the mistake of taking a single room. I do recommend for an extra fee of 9 $ get de double room. They offer buffet breakfast. Cheaper to have it in the closer bars. Price is better in its website.
A hell of a lot safer than old town. Great coffee and breakfast.marble floored rooms. Park outside. It’s a bargain.pool table too :)
Very nice place. Clean, medium sized rooms. Breakfast could be better.

In one word: We want to come back! Love this hotel, the staff ,and the city of Cádiz. We would choose the same room with terrace: lovely for our morning coffee.🥰 Breakfast in the restaurant was also outstanding. Don’t forget to visit the Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Rosario behind the corner!!
I loved to stay in this charming hotel. Thank you for all support. I recommend this hotel for your trip in Cadiz.
Fantastic hotel, extremely clean, very welcoming staff especially the young lady on reception 😀 I would definitely recommend 👌
Excellent Boutique Hotel in Old Town Cadiz We absolutely LOVED our stay in this centrally located hotel in Old Cadiz. The staff was super friendly and the room beautifully appointed. We book the watch tower room and loved it! The roof top bar was great for a pre-dinner cocktail and sunset/root top views. Highly recommend.
This is my second time to this wonderful little hotel. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I booked here in a family room. The room was great. The beds were comfortable. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my lack of Spanish, I really appreciate the effort to translate my Canadian only language barrier. The location was perfect and the price was definitely good. I decided to come back...

The location of the hotel was perfect for our stay. soaking in the poll overlooking the cathedral was a highlight of our stay in Spain.
The pool in front of the cathedral is real 😁 the hotel is great for the price. You just might want to skip the evening “menu” as the city has loads of better restaurants.
If you want to be in the thick of things this is probably the best hotel to stay at. The location is hard to beat - situated on the main cathedral square directly opposite the cathedral and within 5 minutes walk to many of the top attractions such as the central market, Torre Tavira, Plaza de San Juan de Dios, the ocean promenade, Teatro Romano.... Good restaurant in hotel. Tucked away nice modern surroundings. Great meal of the day at 12 euros. 3 choices for each course. Good service. A little gem
Great location to spend a few days in Cadiz. Breakfast good, staff friendly and hotel kept clean.
Tastefully decorated modern hotel right in Cathedral square, stunning location. Rooftop terrace with pool, good quality breakfast. Closest parking was about 10mins walk (is underground), about 17EUR a day, the square is only open to taxis so be mindful if you have luggage!

We were very good, I'll be back
Near the center. Very modern and practical its rooms. The air conditioning slow, but totally silent. Excellent sound insulation. Very good service.
The eating area is closed, the room is a great space and staff very helpful. Very modern facilities, clean and comfortable. The only negative will be the bathroom does not have any counter space and the restroom is closed. I think this hotel would be perfect with a rooftop terrace (which maybe it has but wasn’t offered).
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Always happy to go that extra mile. Room is clean, and with an amazing terrace and terrace pool. And it is very well located within the old town. It may need some amenities for the guests, like coffee/tea in the room, maybe some towel racks. Great stay!
We had a balcony room with a partial sea view. The hotel is only a year old and modern. There is no service, not even breakfast. You can tell that the facility needs better maintenance. At the moment it is still very good, but it could be through in a few years if quality is no longer considered. Parking garage (public) 500m away. Good price-performance ratio.

Great, quiet location, a few blocks from central plaza. Staff helpful. Though I'm not a large person, shower was too small. Basin was too small to wash anything larger than a handkerchief.
I liked everything Very nice atmosphere in an old convent house. Much space, marble stairs. :) Clean and spaceous room. Wifi was working.
LOVELY place to stay. Nice staff Great position Super room Good price Bathroom was a it old fashioned but I would still highly recommend
Yummy breakfast Thank you for a great stay and an awesome breakfast!
This is a unique property: located in a beautiful former convent, with a functioning church in the complex. The building was recently renovated, so the guest rooms and all the common areas are in excellent conditions. Our room was huge, with tall ceilings and a large bathroom. There are beautiful and convenient common areas: a library, and a sitting room in a former refectory. The breakfast is outstanding...

Perfect place to spend the night. No frills, basic bed and bathroom and shower. Had full toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc). Great staff, great location. I booked last minute since I missed my train back to Sevilla so worked out perfectly.
The location is perfect. The attention of the staff very good. My room had a cigarette smell, a pity. It is a simple hotel but good value for money. I recommend it.
Fast Wi-Fi. My bicycle could be stored safely. 2 windows to the stairway. Simply, clean and neat. Staff friendly.
An excellent place to stay in Cádiz for the price and location. A hidden gem with a tiny roof top patio and the hydraulic lift is a quirky bonus.
Perfect location for exploring the old town of Cadiz, cheap compared to all the nearby hotels, cheap parking too,

Stayed at Hotel Canovas for three nights on a chill-out trip with a childhood friend. It was a beautiful room in a lovely little street in Cadiz. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were lovely. We left considerably more relaxed than we came in, and enjoyed wandering the streets around the hotel.
Best location, quiet, friendly helpful staff. They also have a Fantastic Italian restaurant, bar, & breakfast option! Definitely charming and one of the best boutique hotels in Spain! We Highly recommend it!

Good hotel, but a bit expensive considering the distance to the center
Great staff, front desk as friendly and helpful as possible. Housekeeping superb. Nice facility close to dining, necessities and beach. Only ten minute bus ride from the heart of old Cadiz. My room was not as sound proof as I would have liked.
The front desk employees were very helpful and courtesy. The A/C blew snow, no problem handling the hot days. The breakfast was good, but not great.
This was what I was hoping for when booked. It was relatively easy to walk to the historic center. The beach was very close and there were tons of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The staff were extremely helpful and the room perfect for our needs. The final touch was the complimentary bottle of cava!
This location is close to Playa Victoria, local restaurants, grocery store, bus lines, and the Segunda Aguada for quick trips to other towns in Cadiz. Great location.
Great location, nice, clean rooms the service is excelent they go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast buffet lot of toppings to choose from. Recomemded.

Great location, clean, lovely staff and wonderful view - just so many positives. Although photos give a good impression of the look and feel, not all rooms have shown layout. Excellent value for money if you want to be just off the beaten track but still near the beating heart of Cadiz.
Good location in heart of old town Cadiz, near to square and Cathedral. Good shower and fluffy towels, queen size comfortable bed and crisp linen. We would stay there again as Cadiz is a wonderful destination. Parking is easy at nearby underground parking with ev chargers ( 3 attempts but got one to work).
Friendly and helpful staffs, honestly the best hotel with reasonable price.
Less than one minute walking to the main square where the cathedral is located. We found ourselves being just about a maximum of 15 minutes walking of every location of interest in the city. Service was excellent. Great value for the price.
Well situated hotel, only a stroll from the train station and central for getting around Cadiz. Nice spacious room with rooftop terrace facing the cathedral. Nice bathroom with good shower and good range of toiletries. Decent continental breakfast in the morning with good coffee.
